📍 📍 📍 Welcome back to Embodying the Venus Cycle. My name is Michelle. I'm an evolutionary astrologer and I have a special interest in the Venus Cycle. We are in the Leo metagoddess cycle, which began in August of 2023, and this continues until March of 2025. Leo relates to our creativity, our purpose, what we're here to self actualize, our courage, how we shine our light, our expressions of joy.
And Venus is passing through eight lunar gates when the moon is in its crescent phase. on her way descending to the Underworld at this time. At each Lunar Gate, we will be shedding and cleansing, releasing what is no longer serving us, making some space for something new to come in. And once Venus goes into the Underworld this spring, she will return as an evening star and pass through the eight gates again. On February, the seventh, the lunar, gate of the sacral chakra, will be activated when the crescent moon meets Venus in the morning sky. This gate is representative of our creativity, our desires, our addictions, and it is ruled by the sign of Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter and the sign of Pisces ruled by Neptune. These are both very intuitive signs. There is a connection to spirit. There is an expansiveness, a oneness, a unity. consciousness, but there can also be a lack of discernment. And so with Venus and the sign of Capricorn, there can be some really healthy boundaries and a good healthy container that's established.
The two are very complementary to each other, I find, because there can be a lot of heaviness with Venus and Capricorn. There can be guilt and a feeling of really strong, discipline and responsibility for others that we're in relationship to, maybe a lot of , for not taking as good care of ourself as we think that we should.
The sacral chakra is also to do with how we care for our physical body and how we perceive our physical body. So Venus in Capricorn can be kind of heavy in regards to our success and our ability to function. It is also in its more empowered sense very self directed and very self sovereign, very self empowered.
And it is connected with traditions and grandmothers and that wisdom that's passed down from generation to generation, things that are learned over time.
Venus and the moon will be in the sign of Capricorn for this lunar gate. Then, two days later, on February the 9th, we have our new moon in Aquarius, and so the moon will have moved into a new sign. Where it can be a bit more emotionally detached, a little bit more objective in the way it is viewing its relationships. And there can be also maybe a bit of a liberation from the way that, we've been conditioned to believe that we, how we need to, Interact with others, there can be a freedom to resonate more true to your own unique vibe.
in Aquarius.
And we have Uranus at 19 degrees Taurus. It's been at this degree since December the 10th and will stay at 19 degrees Taurus until March the 12th, so that's three months of Uranus in this one degree because it's really slowed down at the end of its retrograde phase, which finished the end of January.
So this is a very significant degree. If you have 19, 20 degrees of any of the fixed signs in your chart, that would be Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, or, um, Leo. The Sabian symbol for 20 degrees of Taurus is wisps of wing like clouds streaming across the sky, and this can be seen as the awareness of spiritual forces at work. I think that really resonates quite well with all of this Aquarian energy that's coming in with this new moon just days after this Lunar Gate, we have a lot of the personal planets moving in to meet, Pluto at zero degrees Aquarius for the first time in our life because the Pluto cycle is such a lengthy one, it's, it hasn't been in the sign of Aquarius for 250 years.
So it's pretty exciting how all of these personal planets now are. each one by one making a connection to Pluto, which is our soul's desires, our impulses, our attachments, our emotional attachments, and our purpose, our, our will, our drive, the reason why we're here on this. Earth at this time. It's also important to note that Uranus is the planet that rules the sign of Aquarius. So it's already very empowered at this time because of the Sun being in Aquarius. And of course, Pluto just entering here.
This new moon is in a square to the planet, Uranus, and this is a last quarter square. Here the soul has come to a point where they have really, kind of got to the top of their game. They've accomplished something and now it's time to break free from all of what has been learned as far as the conditions of what success is and what their calling is at that time. There's a new growth, a new direction that is needing to take form. Finding a new way that is truer to your unique nature. Where the soul is torn between past accomplishments, past growth, and now needing to break free into a new evolutionary pathway. There's a closing of a cycle. There'll soon be a beginning of a new evolutionary cycle and there's. A shedding of our conditioned ways of thinking relating to others and of our way of taking action and coming into a new way that is more in resonance with your uniqueness and your true nature at this time.
The archetype of Taurus relates to security and Uranus is connected to what is, broken down, what is needing to be altered in some way, to be shifted. New ways of feeling secure or perhaps maybe a breaking free of security altogether and getting out of the comfort zone and trying things that you feel uncomfortable doing. This can be some of the, themes that are coming through for you wherever Taurus is in your birth chart.
And the last thing that I'll mention is we have Venus and Mars starting a new two year cycle on February the 21st at six degrees Aquarius. And so how we make choices in relationships, how we take action in relationships with ourself and with others. We are perhaps, starting to do this differently.
