Hey guys, welcome back to the show. I have a very special guest today and she is somebody who I've been listening to for a very, very long time. I had to have her on. It was like a huge I don't know. I was really nervous to ask you to be on here, mikaela but Mikaela Jay is on the podcast today.

Speaker 1:

If you haven't heard of her, most people have. If you haven't, I mean, I don't know what you're doing with your life. She's a podcast host. She's a life coach, a manifestation coach, business coach. She does it all and she has turned her life. She had a nine to five life, just like the rest of us, and she has made it into a dream life Her magnetic energy and just her happiness.

Speaker 2:

she matches my energy level.

Speaker 1:

I think this is going to be a really good conversation. Mikaela Jay, welcome to updated AF.

Speaker 2:

Hi, oh, my gosh, I'm so excited to be here and we have the same energy. If you lived in Austin, the city would be done for oh my gosh I'd say you'll match. It would be so great.

Speaker 1:

Oh, 100%. It's so funny because, like I said, I've been listening to you for such a long time I don't know if you also have ADHD, but I'm so hyper. People are like, oh, you're such a positive girl, megan, and you like, you're always happy, and I was like that's the.

Speaker 2:

ADHD. That's so funny. I think my best friend always thinks that he has ADHD and I'm like I don't know if I want to affirm that for myself because like there's so much that goes without the ADHD, I'm like I don't know if that's going to be my affirmation, but I have so literally so much energy and you know what I think it is. Rather than ADHD, I'm a manifesting generator in human design and so like the antigens have to have their hands in a million different things at once to feel stimulated and fulfilled, and so it's like I have so many things I'm working on all the time, or else I get like super bored, and one of my favorite, my most MJ sayings, is like only boring people get bored and I am not boring, so I'm always doing a million things, but I blame it on being a manager.

Speaker 1:

I'm the opposite. I'm a projector. So if you know anything about projectors, we have to like we're the ones that wait to be asked to get into things, and so, like I've actually been trying to break out of that since I learned what a projector is and I'm just like I hate, I hate waiting. But now that I know that I have that trait, I'm just like I'm just going to do it. I'm just going to ask to do things. I'm going to put myself out there the same way you do it. You just put yourself out there Like you don't wait to be asked or invited, like you just do it. And that's what I love about you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh, I just do shit, I just do this. Projector, projectors, love Mani gents. Like we really feed on each other's energy. So that makes so much sense and it's do. I'm like I can't even imagine, like the waiting for the invitation, and obviously you don't have to, but that's what's most comfortable, most easy. Like same thing for with Mani gents. Like our initial reaction to things, like how, how we interact with people, the best is responses, and so it's similar but a little bit different. Like if my husband's like what do you want for dinner, I'm like I don't know. But if he gives me four options, I'll be like this one, you know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that takes so much frigging sense, oh my gosh. Okay, like I, like I said, I know your stories. I've been listening to you for a very long time. Talk about, well, and I want to talk about your podcast too, but let's do this in chronological order. Tell me about yourself. I want to hear your story. The listeners need to hear your story, because you were just a regular girl from Nebraska, and how the heck did you create this empire and become this magnetic woman, this life coach, manifestation coach? Let's, let's break it down and then we'll get into all the courses and all the stuff that you, that you do now.

Speaker 2:

All of the things. So it's been a really wild journey. I had just to take it all the way back. I had a really rough upbringing and I talk about this online and like I feel like once they hit high school, my life was just like just down a hill and I grew up like when I was younger.

Speaker 2:

Younger we grew up like very upper middle class, like my mom was buying coach bags all the time. Like I was getting my hair trimmed every six to eight weeks. Like I was getting a large Starbucks every time. Like it was bougie in private school and then my family lost everything, everything and then it's so. It was just like a huge night and day difference. Now I'm going to public school and now if I want to cheer, I need to go door to door fundraise to pay for my uniform and all of these things that I'm like why am I doing this? You know, especially when you're younger, none of that makes sense and your parents yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And it's like your parents don't want to explain those realities because they want you to have your bubble and like still live your life, you know. And so when you're in that state of not understanding, the brain will already start to create what it thinks is happening. And so I immediately started to build this and I know we're going to get to money mindset, but I immediately started to build this like money belief that like you can have it all and it can all be taken away. And so then I started operating out of scarcity pretty much like the rest of my life, until I had my spiritual awakening.

Speaker 2:

Like I got my first job when I was like 12 because I knew my parents were struggling and I was like I don't want to ever have to ask them for gas, I don't want to ever have to ask them for me to go to the mall with my friends, any of like anything like that. My work ethic developed really, really young and in high school everything just was like downhill, downhill, downhill. And it's funny to look. Well, it's not funny, but it's funny to look back because the universe was doing its very best to shake me, to wake me up. It wanted me to understand energy and my mindset, because I was a self-proclaimed pessimist, like I was so negative.

Speaker 2:

I was in such a horrible victimhood mindset and all of these things were happening for me to open my eyes and take control, but I just, I just wasn't. And so because of that, I learned for the first time what law of attraction was by using it in the not intentional way. And it's interesting Somebody asked me a couple of weeks ago like, do you ever feel like manifesting law of attraction isn't real? And I was like no, I never feel that way because I've done it the reverse way and I know it works in both directions. And so I was living alone at 15. I had to, you know, support myself.

Speaker 2:

I worked three jobs while I was in high school and I was just like in this really bad place, and I ended up getting paid to go to college. I always I told my parents like you guys fuck my life up the perfect time. Great scholarship stories Like that was a positive way of thinking. So I got paid to go to college and after my first year I decided I was going to study abroad and right before I was leaving for my study abroad trip, I studied abroad in France because I was a double major in friendship fashion. I'm very bougie over here for everybody who doesn't know me and so I decided I was going to study abroad. But before then, our child at home that I had been living alone in up until I was in college got foreclosed, and so yeah, I was literally like one thing after another.

Speaker 1:

It's just trauma response after trauma after trauma.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so you're literally living in survival mode at this time, yeah, and that's so hard to break and it's like when you're in that state and you don't know about mindset work, no one around you is positive. It doesn't look like you're getting out of it. And when I hated college right away, but I told myself I would not be the statistic I was supposed to be At that point my dad was in prison, I didn't have a relationship with my mom, my brother was a high school dropout. I was like I'm not going to be the statistic. I have to keep going until I ended up dropping out of college. But we'll get there.

Speaker 1:

Same girl Same, Don't worry about it. Yay.

Speaker 2:

Just not for me. Okay, I dropped out my last semester. I was just like I'm done with this and so our house got more closed. I mean, I had to move in with my grandfather over the summer and between my college semesters and that house was horrible. And I always call this like my raccoon girl era, because there was a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen and one time a raccoon fell through.

Speaker 2:

And so we were just like, oh my God, we'd like live in a fucking raccoon home it was. It was so bad and like my mom put up one of those wardrobe like shields so like the raccoons wouldn't crawl into the house, we had like boxes stacked in that she was doing the best we could to make up this scenario and it was just like it was a gnaw.

Speaker 2:

It was a dark time and I was working full time Monday through Friday over the summer just to, like you know, get money in my bank account because obviously, like I wasn't getting any support for my family and this is all the first study abroad, so I'm like I want to stack money. I had a goal when I got to Paris by my first Louis Vuitton bags, I was like I have to work and I was so miserable and I remember looking myself in the mirror one day at like a rock bottom and just thinking like something has to change and it has to start with me. I have no idea where it came from. Nobody around me was positive, nobody around me was telling affirmations, nobody was doing any of the minds out. It was my first loud and clear download from the universe.

Speaker 1:

I was just going to say that was probably your first download and you already said it. That's like what I feel like when people hit that ultimate rock bottom. That's when you start getting like woken up, like you wake up, you start getting that download and luckily you listened to it and I'm I'm didn't mean to interrupt, I'm gonna let you go, girl.

Speaker 2:

So you're totally good.

Speaker 2:

I know, seriously. Luckily I listened to it, because a lot of us we get those moments and you have your five minutes of motivation and then it just seeps away because another life thing happens. You know that happening my senior year. I remember when, like, snapchat stories was cool. I sing one of my friends post on snapchat stories all the time. She was so happy and I remember literally messaging her, me like how are you so happy all the time? And you told me she was like you know, you're like. She's like, for example, if somebody cuts me off in traffic, I just send them love and I hope they get where they need to go because they're obviously gonna hurry. She's like I just stop sweating the small things because they really don't matter, you know, and I was just like wow.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm adopting that mindset. It probably lasts like 48 hours, you know, and then I'm just like, oh, my life sucks again. So it's, it's hard, it's a muscle.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, gotta work at it. You're coming from survival mode and you're trying to Change your mindset and get out of survival mode and try to look for other over Avenues of approach and ways to get out of it. It's a muscle, just like you guys always say. Like I've heard you say it too You're not gonna walk into a gym for an hour. I get six pack abs. Like it is a muscle, it's going to go away. You're gonna have your highs and you're gonna have your lows. One day You're gonna be like everything is positive rainbows, kit, cats and butterflies and then the next day you could Get into a car accident and I'll think your life is like over again.

Speaker 2:

It's a muscle because that is like the days that it's easy is great, but the days that it matters is when it's hard and you choose to believe in the positive mindset.

Speaker 2:

And that's exactly what I started doing from that day on, and it wasn't really anything I did at the beginning, you know, because I didn't know about personal development or what that was gonna mean, but it was like I have to change and I left for my study abroad Tripp and I knew that there were three big habits that were not supporting the version myself I wanted to be, because when I had that mere moment I was like I want so badly to be this girl that lights up every room she walks into, especially going to college parties my freshman year, like we all have seen that girl who just like walks in she might not even know anybody but she just like brings the energy. And I wanted that so bad. And I knew there were three things that were not supporting that one being negative, that does not bring the energy. Do gossiping about other people? Yeah, tearing other women down, tearing other men down like that, doesn't make you feel any better and that is not being the light in the room, right and complaining.

Speaker 2:

Right, things are gonna be inconvenient in life, but complaining does not make that any better. Nobody wants to sit with a complainer. So I went on my study abroad trip and those are my three roles no complaining, no being negative and no gossiping the entire time. And I became a completely different person in six weeks. And the real transformation started when I came home, because when you're home, people expect you to act like normal you. And when you make this big transformation, that's not who you are, who you are exactly.

Speaker 1:

You're a completely new person and it actually correct me if I'm wrong with Kayla but it can actually make the other person uncomfortable and yeah, and so when you come back, it had same thing happened to me coming back home. Like you are a completely different person, which can either make people very uncomfortable they don't know how to act around you or they're trying to pull that old negative energy out of you by like Triggering you?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, 100%. I was just having this conversation with my husband because I did a breath work session earlier this week and one of the things that came up is like how often we dim our light because we think are too much for other people, but when we're being ourselves, like it makes other people uncomfortable because they are not comfortable with themselves. That's not your problem, that's not your fault, so why make it about you when it's really about them and that's hard right, like that is not an easy thing because we don't want people to feel uncomfortable. For me, people being like hyper Considerate is something that I really value about myself and making sure people feel included and like I host retreats, you know I want people to feel comfortable and so it can be hard.

Speaker 2:

So when I came home, I lost some friends because they just couldn't get on board with a new version of me, and that's okay and you know it's interesting. Those same friends are now like posting on Instagram, like their own affirmations and like their vision boards, and so everybody has their own timeline. And even if we weren't meant to be besties forever, I know I changed their life and part of that was our separation, you know, and so I sent a lot of love to those people. So I lost some friends and in my newfound time, where I used to go out with friends, I threw myself into self-development.

Speaker 2:

I was working out at 6 am, I was journaling every single day. I started meditating, I started seeing affirmations like really starting to dive into log attraction and manifestation, really hard for for like nine months. And at the end of those nine months I had another mirror moment, me in the mirrors. I mean it's undeniable. And I looked up in the mirror and I thought like holy shit, like my entire life has changed. And this was Probably 10 months after the first mirror moment, because I had, like the study brought like six weeks plus the nine months, so like 10 to 11 months later.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, my life has changed. Like I have to teach other women this. I felt this like overwhelming moral obligation to share things. Because I was like, if I can go from like Dirt port, getting canned foods from the church, my dad's in prison, my brother's a dropout, I have no relationship with my family, like I'm working three jobs like the most negative person I know. To this version of me. Now I'm like I can change anyone's life, like Really like this ship.

Speaker 1:

You have no idea, girl like people and I know you don't know this about me, but I was in law enforcement, I was a sanio police officer for 10 years and what you are doing is you are showing people, hey, there's a light at the end of the tunnel, we just have to get you to it. This is what you have to do, and what I like about your podcast is you're so real. We're like it's gonna be hard and like you we've talked about that is like it's a muscle You're gonna have. You're gonna have your highs and lows, but what you're doing things that would normally kill somebody or they would do something to self harm. You're showing them hey, I can pull you out, but you're gonna have to work your ass off. It's not gonna be easy, but you can there's you can get out of it.

Speaker 1:

So you are doing a lot more for these women and probably some men too, because, let's be real, we always have men. But, um, you're pulling them out of a dark place because you're using your story that you've lived it. You've lived this story and you're saying, if I can do it, you can do it. That's what I love about your story is. It is so freaking relatable and you're turning around and you're helping the next one in line. I love it.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, and it's like we've all everybody in life is going to experience those rock bottom moments. It might it's gonna look different for every single person, and maybe you grew up in a very loving family. That doesn't mean you're not gonna have rock bottom moments. It doesn't mean you're not struggling with things and it doesn't mean you can't use these tools. And so I think it's so powerful one for us to share our stories, because people relate to so many different parts of it, whether it's a feeling, whether it's something that they go through. Like somebody might have a parent in prison and relate to that. Right, somebody might relate to a rock bottom. Oh, somebody might have a hole in their ceiling.

Speaker 2:

You know, like you just never know, and I like to make that my mission of like you can still live this luxury lifestyle. You know, because I like grew up like very upper middle class until we lost everything. Like I had a taste of Private school. My mom had a Jeep, my dad had a Hummer. Like we lived in a big fancy house, we had a boat. You know, like we have all of these things until we didn't. And so for me, I was like, oh, that's what I want, this was easy, this was convenient, this felt good. The struggle doesn't the struggle so hard, and so I knew that I had to work my ass off to get back to that point, and all of us can do that. It's just really believing in yourself that you well one, that you can do it and two that you're willing to put in that work. And one of my favorite things to say is like is you can do hard things. We don't want to, it's uncomfortable, but yeah, you can do hard fucking things.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely so after you went through this 10 months of transformation, you were coming off the other side. You go back home and obviously you're this new you. You're losing friends and everything. So where did you kind of like, I guess, not stop caring, but did you have like another breakthrough moment of like, I guess having to separate yourself from these people and then like starting your life completely over? I guess like, oh, I'm trying to say it's like having a new identity. Did you ever like, I guess you know what I'm trying to say? Maybe I'm not, I don't exactly what you're trying to say Totally.

Speaker 2:

Like I got you, sorry, girl. No, it's totally fine, it's so interesting. So I remember one moment when I was hanging out with my friends that I was just like I'm just I'm not there anymore. We were going to a party. It was like literally our first night, our first girls night out since we being home. My friends were in the front seat because one of them was driving and I was in the back seat and they were like, first of all, they were just gossiping about this girl we went to high school with and I was just.

Speaker 2:

I literally was sitting there silent. That's my biggest tip for anybody who's like okay, but my friends gossip, they complain all the time. Just shut your mouth. Truly, I just wouldn't say a word for so many conversations. That's why we grew apart, because I'm just like fucking dead silent, you know, but you don't have to engage in that. So I'm just sitting in the back, dead silent. They're talking about this girl and then they're complaining about how they can't find parking and then we find out the party got shut down by the police. So now they're complaining about that and I was just sitting there holding the wine bottle in the back seat. Like this is just not, not what I want to be doing.

Speaker 1:

Just stop the vibe.

Speaker 2:

I'm like this just isn't the vibe. I'm just going to record a little, Mikayla back there with a bottle of alcohol.

Speaker 1:

I mean like these bitches.

Speaker 2:

Like I'm like, oh my God, this is not the vibe. I'm like messaging one of my friends in France and like I want to come back home. And so that was the moment that I really realized like okay, this is I'm. I am a different person. I have a different identity, and one of the things I started to get really in my head about is I was so positive, and when you are in your negative spiral, the last thing you want is to hear somebody be like it's happening for a reason. It's going to work itself out, don't you worry. You know, like you've got this. You're like what the fuck? No, like you don't want to hear that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm very careful when I was like, anytime I would like arrest somebody. I'd be like, don't worry, everything happens for a reason. And I'd be like you know it's going to work itself out. And then I would literally put your podcast on while I'm taking some like asshole to jail. I swear to.

Speaker 1:

God, so many so many people I've taken to jail have heard your podcast, like a few other girlies, but they're just like what the fuck is she listening to? And here you guys are saying like everything happens for a reason. I'm like, see, listen to what this girl is saying You're going to be fine. You're literally only listening to podcasts on duty and so, like so many people, have heard you and they're just like what the fuck is she?

Speaker 2:

talking about. I am obsessed with that. Like I can't wait to tell my husband that later, oh my God, that's so. I can just imagine being arrested. They were just like what they did and they just hear me, I'm like, I'm trying to be yours for the first class, for the first time I manifested. They're like what?

Speaker 1:

the fuck. I did not care, I had no shame. I was never going to jail because we had 45 minutes from where I worked to the county jail and I always had a podcast on and so like. And it was always like manifestation law of attraction stuff. And I would always tell them I know we're supposed to be like sensitive, to telling people who are in crisis Like it's okay, life is not fitting to you, it's happening for you, and then I pop out a lot of attraction or like a manifestation podcast and they're just like, can we turn this? I'm like no, it's going to get good, trust me. I'm like it's going to get good, life is going to change.

Speaker 2:

You probably changed so many lives.

Speaker 1:

In that moment you're like this is the worst day of my life.

Speaker 2:

But then they probably thought about that for like years. You have no idea. That's so cool. I love that.

Speaker 1:

That's my patrol car. It was always like a vibe. It was always like a positive place. I always had like it always smelled like lavender. I traded my patrol car like my office and like it was always very comfortable. It was clean. So, yeah, I just wanted those girls.

Speaker 1:

I probably had issues like that but like, no, like, but I have to go with the hack. So when did you decide? When you did decide to go back and help people and, like, pull them out of their dark places, like, was it? Was it the courses first, because we got to talk about your podcast too. So, like, what came next?

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, yeah, so, oh, I'm going to finish this last thing really quick. I'm like wait, did I finish that? So it's like it's really you have to be careful around people when they're obviously in crisis or when people are really negative. And being that really positive person, people have reactions and my friends would tell me all the time I was annoying, and that's like a huge trigger for me, like, oh, the last thing I want to be is annoying. You know, I'm like I want to be the girl that lights up the room. I don't want to be annoying. So that would.

Speaker 2:

That was really hard for me. And that's when I had to decide fully because everything's just a decision right, I had to decide fully that I was committing to that new identity of like. You're going to find it annoying, they're. They're going to wonder why I'm not saying anything. They're going to wonder why I'm different, and I just had to own that. And so when I did, everything started to change, because then I did the deep dive and then to answer your next question of like. So it was after I had that moment of like. I have to teach people. I started blogging a little bit about that. I was already blogging about travel and kind of personal development, but in like a very lightweight Cause I was traveling.

Speaker 1:

I didn't know you were a blogger, okay.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, I had like 900 followers on Instagram and like a very cute DIY WordPress blog and I was traveling a lot. That was a lot of what I was manifesting at the beginning, because I was like in, I was like travel and like getting your shit together. Because I was in school, I was working on campus, I was also traveling. If I was doing, I was in three clubs and people were like how do you manage all this and working out? So I was blogging about that. So I started to switch it over to the mindset and the manifesting stuff and around that time, I was like I want to talk to someone about this, like I really want to share more. Because even doing those blog posts, I felt like it's great, but it's not enough for me. It's not, I'm not pouring into people enough to make this change. And so I was like, okay, I'm going to start a podcast and just figured it out because this was 2018. Like nobody, the podcasting wasn't big then.

Speaker 1:

No, it wasn't.

Speaker 2:

I literally and I signed up for a free platform and I would walk around campus with my phone and like the plug-in cord Apple headphones. So if you guys go back to like the first 10 episodes of my podcast, I'm really sorry. It's so embarrassing we all start somewhere.

Speaker 1:

Girl, don't do that to you. We all start somewhere. They all start from the rock bottom. Yeah, we all do.

Speaker 2:

And I would go and walks around campus and just record my thoughts about money, mindset about mindset about manifest, about manifesting my travels, and I just started putting out the podcast that way and I probably did it for like a month and nobody was listening. And then I stopped doing it for a while because I was like, how can I impact people? And at the time I was actually taking a program on like how to be an influencer and I was like, oh my God, I could teach a group program about manifesting. So over the summer I put together my first program, which is the MM Method, which I still sell today, five and a half years later. It is my big baby. I've redone it like a million times so it's updated and really nice and with new teaching and stuff.

Speaker 2:

But I started putting that together over the summer and I also launched my very first retreat. So I did the podcast like a month and then I got into like worker mode and then I launched all of it at once. I launched my first retreat, which was in Greece, which was so fun, like core memory. I had two girls come, which was like the best thing on planet Earth for me, cause I was like I don't know if anybody is literally going to care, and so I had the retreat, I launched the MM Method and then I like really got consistent with my podcast and when I launched my business, and that was August of 2018. So that's where it all started, with the offers.

Speaker 1:

That's amazing. And how so like you had. You must have had a little bit of a platform with the podcast, because you were able to sell your course and to advertise your retreat. So, like, what did that look like? Really quick. Like, how did you? How did you launch your course with only us, like a small amount of followers?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, at the time I had like a thousand Instagram followers and most of them were people that I had gone to school with.

Speaker 2:

that like literally did not care. And then I had like a handful of people that have been like listening or reading my blog and then I was in all these influencer groups because starting college I was like I'm going to be a YouTuber and so I wanted to be a YouTuber so I would connect with other influencers. So one of the girls I connected with an influencer group she was one who came to the retreat. And the other one was one of my blog readers and she found me through a Pinterest pin of one of my blog posts. So I just thought that was wild. So that was where they they came from. And when I launched my podcast, like in August, I remember getting on a call of my coach at the time and I was like so excited to tell her I got 30 downloads that month. I was like, listen up, I'm a big podcaster, baby. I got 30 downloads in these five episodes.

Speaker 1:

For a new podcaster. That is cool, Like every download, every listener, just it adds more value. It makes us, it makes rookie podcasters like me want to keep going. Like even just seeing our first five, I'm like five people listen to me Like literally.

Speaker 2:

That's amazing. You think about the actuality of like, how many like humans that is. It makes it really crazy. So I got on this call and was like 30 people. I was so excited and she was like we got to work on it. She was like that's not enough but I was so excited about it. And when I was growing the podcast and my first program I think the first time I ran M&M Method, I think I had four people in it and I how I would grow all this is every week I put out a podcast.

Speaker 2:

I would text it to my friends every week, and most of the time they would leave me on red. They did not care. But I would send it every single week after like four weeks They'd be like, oh, I'll see if I can tune in. You know, like they didn't care, but I was really. And one thing that I think is a really important lesson in business is like when it feels like nobody cares, you have to keep going, and so I developed that right away. Nobody in Nebraska was spiritual. I was like the weird one, like I was the annoying one who's super positive, like literally nobody cared, and so I feel like that's why I've had my business for so long. So, because anytime there are these lulls or I feel like nobody is responding or nobody's listening, or even a podcast download school down one month, I'm like it doesn't matter, you just keep going, going consistency oh my gosh so much.

Speaker 2:

So I kept going with the podcast and then the podcast really blew up after, like I started to get like a year and I started getting a lot of downloads, because then people started getting more into podcasting. You know, it also was just such a new platform that people weren't really listening to. People were on Instagram, people were still in YouTube and blogging phase. So once podcasts started to pick up, that really did and I just really pride myself because there are a couple of like manifestation, like law of attraction, podcast out there. But I would always leave the episodes feeling like what am I supposed to do with that information? And so I knew for me, I always wanted people to leave my episode feeling like they got a loving kick in the ass, because I'm just like I'm really good at motivating people. I mean like you need to go.

Speaker 2:

So I wanted that to be part of it and I wanted people to have homework. You know, I always say like this for the week I want you to journal on this. I want you to do this because I want you to leave the episode, do something and see an actual result. And if you join my program, amazing, like imagine you're going to get 10 X the fucking results when you have the whole picture. But I want real transformation from just the free content too. And because I've always had this intention of one, I have to teach this. It's not it wasn't me wanting to start a business, it was. I have to teach this and I want it to work for them and I want them to feel like they have a plan of action after they listen to an episode that really I feel like that's what made it grow so fast.

Speaker 1:

That's why and the one thing I like about your podcast, like you said, there's a lot of them out there, a lot of different girls with a lot of different strategies and different ways of utilizing the law of attraction, but what you do is like yours is very interactive. I like that about, like you said, you assign homework, you're like okay, and your homework tonight is yeah, and then you go ABC. I like that. It's like you're almost these girls are. You're reaching a bigger audience.

Speaker 1:

Now there's a lot of manifestation coaches and stuff like that, like yourself, that are selling these amazing courses. They're not cheap but you're good. So I'm not saying that they need to be cheap and no girl Like, if anything like I took one of your classes back when you were like this was like a long, this is years ago, and they're great classes. But for the girlies out there that are don't have the money, that can't afford a coach, that can't afford these $1,000 worth of classes, what you do is your podcast is technically kind of like it's just a free course. So that's what I like about it is because, like for people like me, when I discovered you like I didn't know anything about the law of attraction, I was another girl that read the secret and I was like what thoughts are things that I could just manifest.

Speaker 1:

They were like yeah, and I was like looking back now like I was very like obviously new and naive, but like yours is very interactive and I like that about it.

Speaker 2:

I love that Cause and that's how I wanted to be. I want people to feel like they come to each episode they have something they can leave with and apply and it changed their life. Like every single episode I think about when I'm planning out the episode. I mean, I ramble a lot on podcasts and that's when people like all love the most.

Speaker 2:

They're like do longer ramble episodes. I just do like bullet points of things I know I want to talk about and so when I plan it out, I basically plan out every episode like it's its own masterclass. And because there are so many people out there that, like this is the beginning of their journey, they've never even thought about investing in themselves. They've never invested in themselves. Maybe they're building up their money mindset so they can change their life. Right, because, like I used to be in that position where I had no money, living in a raccoon house, so I'm like I totally get it, the raccoon house.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, I will take photos of it.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, I wish you did too, because think about it like, and I don't know what your business plans are in the next five years or so, but, girl, like, you have a story that needs to be written in a book and I wish that you did have that photo because that's something that, like, needs to be in a book. You need to talk about this and like is, but before we get into all like life stuff.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so you mentioned, obviously, your money mindset, and I know this podcast is like and I don't really plan my podcast out too much, but I did want to talk about money but we can touch about it a little bit. Having a money mindset like tell me a little bit about that For the girls that don't know what that is. Can you explain what a money mindset is?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely so. We have a mindset around every single area of our life and I want you guys to first just think about what's an area of your life that you feel really confident in. Maybe it's your health and wellness. Maybe you're going on your hot girl walks consistently. Maybe you know you drink a gallon of water every single day, you know you're in the gym right. Maybe it's with your business. You know you're showing up every single day Like an area of your life you feel confident in, you have a strong mindset there. It's the same thing with money and in our society we feel really disconnected from money because it's stressful and there's always inflation and there's just like all of these things and how you grew up with money. That also changes how you view money and it's a real relationship, as if you were dating it.

Speaker 2:

And when we don't have that mindset, we get really disconnected and we think that it's hard. We think that it's all these stories. So when we're working on money mindset, we're working on building that confidence Like you feel confident in these other areas. You're working on that while pairing it with a relationship, if that makes sense. And so I started to take control of my money story. I was thinking about like okay, if I'm up leveling my life, I also want to up level how much money I have. So how do I do that? I think about like how do I feel about money? And so these are your homework questions, ladies, and I'm like literally like write down like how do I feel about money and just be brutally honest. You feel like there's never enough. I'm always chasing it. Money's hard, money's hard to come by. I told you guys earlier like one of my biggest money stories is like you can have it all and lose it all. I watched my parents' cars get repo'd. Our house was foreclosed, you know, like we were on food stamps, like there were times where our when I lived alone and I house at 15, like the water would get shut off and I would shower at the gym, you know. So it's like we have, we build this like scarcity versus abundance mindset. So how do you feel about money? And that is almost always a direct correlation to what your money reality is right now. Okay, how much money you have, how much money you're bringing in the opportunities, and when we look at that we're like holy shit, you know, like this makes so much sense and what people don't talk about enough or people don't teach in like quote unquote.

Speaker 2:

Normal society is that you can change your mindset around money. It doesn't have to be this cut and dry thing. It's only your salary, it's only this. Money is energy, and I love talking about money as a feminine energy. When we think of feminine energy, we think of like flow and creativity and fun, and when you can get in that energy with money, you're going to bring a lot more to you. But we are approaching money in this very masculine way, because that's kind of how society portrays it, where it's like we have to work hard, you have to hustle, yeah, we have to hustle, we have to budget, like it needs to be stressful, because that's what you saw growing up and we have to start to change that idea because then it's going to alter. So we start by how do you feel about money?

Speaker 2:

And then that second question is do you view money in a more feminine or a more masculine way? How do you interact with your money? Is it stress? Is it okay I have to budget every single thing out? I can't buy that right. That would be really masculine, really rigid Versus the more feminine it's like.

Speaker 2:

Okay, let me figure out how I can make this work. That was one of the big things I did when I was learning manifesting, manifesting all the travels, like I want to go to all these places I don't really have the money to. How do I make this work? Okay, maybe I'm going to book the Airbnb instead of the fancy hotel and I am going to book the plane ticket, but I'm going to be group warning nine. You know, like I'm not going to be in first class, but I'm going to be on the plane. Like if they are asking for volunteers to get a travel voucher, I'm taking that. You know how can we make it work?

Speaker 2:

And that's a huge shift. That's going to change your reality around money, because you're going to start looking at everything as an opportunity for growth and that's what money wants to have. It wants to feel like it's like in a relationship. You want to grow together. That's the exact same thing with money. So your first question is how do you feel about money? Second, do you look at it in a more masculine or feminine way? And third, how would you feel about money if you felt like you had an abundance, like, let's say, overnight you became a millionaire? How would you feel about money then? Those are the things you want to start stepping into now and that's going to be a really good way to start working on your money mindset, to get you into more flow.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's what I tell a lot of entrepreneurs too, the ones that are just like this is so hard I feel like I have to hustle. I'm working more now as an entrepreneur than I did in my nine to five. Like what the hell's going on? I'm just thinking like exactly One. It's an energy. You need to change your mindset. You have to change your mindset before you change anything. If you have a negative mindset, of course your brain is automatically going to go into problem solving mode. All of a sudden, everything's a problem. So changing your mindset is number one thing. Before anybody ever jumps into entrepreneurship or anything that has where you're kind of self-generating money, change your mindset. Realize you need to change your mindset and then change your vibration. Can we talk about how you attract? With a higher vibration, you can attract money. It happens to us all the ladies that are out there listening that don't know anything about the law of attraction. You attract what you were putting out there, including your thoughts. We have to talk about that for a second.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely. Law of attraction is one of the universal laws that states a like attracts like. So everything in your life is a direct reflection of your vibration. If you're somebody who has started working on themselves and you're like but every day I'm doing my routines, I'm shifting my mindset, but my reality doesn't match that yet. Give it 90 days. So if you're somebody who's actually working on yourself, your reality now is you from 90 days ago. So think about everything you're doing today. Give it three months. It's going to be completely different, right? So you are constantly attracting things into your life, same thing as money. So when you are in this energy of like, money is scary, there is never enough. I have to work super hard, money is exhausting, and then it's in and then it's out. Right? That is the exact reality you end up manifesting, versus somebody who believes money is easy. Money loves me, money and I have fun together. Money and I have a relationship.

Speaker 2:

That's like nowhere I actually do that. Sometimes, yes, I get paid to exist Like money is obsessed with me. Like money comes to find me Like that will change, because even just talking about it, it's like I love that you just said that I want to get a shirt that says I get paid to exist.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I want to. Okay, I'm writing that. I have like sticky notes all over my bathroom mirrors Like I, that's the funniest and best thing I've ever. I get paid to exist. I get paid to exist. Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you. That was just like the best thing I've heard in a long time.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. So I get paid to exist. I get paid to exist. I wake up and I get paid. I make money in my sleep. Right, I could go all day with doing money affirmations. Maybe I should do a podcast episode where all I do is say money affirmations, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, I love that.

Speaker 2:

But that changes your energy. Like even talking about it, it just it feels more flowy and there's a big vibrational difference. And so what I mean by vibration is like, think about your radio in your car. Right, you can tune into different stations and those are just different frequencies. Same thing with money You're tuned into a certain station right now. You just need to tune into the next one or three stations over to be on the level of money you want to be on.

Speaker 2:

That starts with how you feel, which is why we start with these prompts of like how do you feel about money? If you have money? How would you feel then, the more time you can spend in that? If you're a millionaire now, how would you feel? The more time you can spend in that energy, the faster you're going to attract it, and money loves speed. And so I just want to give another like little hack. Like, if you feel like money, and your business owner especially, you feel like money has been coming in kind of slow and you're like, hmm, wow, it's February. I really want to be further along. I have these big New Year's goals that I want to hit, right. I want you to take a look at the action steps you're taking right now, and I'm not not like you need to do more, but how quickly are you taking action? One thing that I'm committed to doing this year is I'm doing something that shit crazy every single day of the year, which has been so much fun.

Speaker 2:

I came up with this idea of my birthday is January 13th. I came up with this idea five days before my birthday. Now I was like what would end my 25th year like super iconic and what would start my 26th year? Super iconic? And I was like what if I just did something fucking crazy every single day? And I did that my birthday? And I was just like, wow, I feel all this momentum, I want to keep going and money loves speed. Money loves that momentum because it's fast paced.

Speaker 2:

And so if you're a business owner and you feel like you're in a little dry spell or you want to up your money and vibes, how fast are you making these moves? Are you looking at an investment and you're sitting on it for a month? You see it in pre-sale, you want it and then you wait until it's full price and you're like shit. You have to start to trust yourself and make those moves. Same thing is like if you're going to do a new workout plan, are you the person who's like, ok, it's Wednesday, I'll start Monday. Fuck that, start Thursday, like what you know. So we have to look at where are the areas of your life where you're taking a long time to get to the decision, to get to the action. And I don't want to challenge you to even do more. I just want to challenge you to move faster, because that is the energy of the millionaire, you who attracts money very quickly.

Speaker 1:

I love that. You said that. I read a book and it's killing me because I can't remember the name of the book but it's literally the mindset of a millionaire and they said that exact thing is the difference between regular people, middle class people or whatever. And the difference between them and the difference between millionaires and billionaires is they act quickly, they don't sit around and think about it. They take yes, they take calculated rest. But they have that mind. Their mindsets already change. They know what money looks like and they know how to get money very easily. So they train their mind to see an opportunity and quickly make a decision like that one and not have second thoughts about it. And if it doesn't work out, OK, then that one. You know what I mean. But that's the difference.

Speaker 1:

When it drives me crazy because I now work in the real estate world. I left law enforcement to become an entrepreneur and all that fun stuff, so but it drives me crazy when I'm seeing like a great investment opportunity for somebody who's just getting into real estate investing. I'm like here's the numbers, here's the proof. This is, this is a great place to take your money. I look at houses as containers and you just take the money, put it in that container. I'm like this is a great investment opportunity and they'll be like, well, I need to think about it and I need to run some numbers and I'm just like and then they'll wait a week, House of Soul. I cannot stand people who cannot make a fucking decision. Just make a decision. But that's the difference between millionaires and you're in the regular people Like millionaires can see an opportunity like that one and not give it a second thought. And I feel like that's what you do too, girl, Like you, you, but you've trained yourself. You trained your mindset. We weren't always like that.

Speaker 2:

No way. And really what it is when you break it down is it's that self trust. These millionaires and billionaires like Elon Musk he started businesses, lost ever, literally went bankrupt, and it's like you know what it is they trust themselves to go make more money. If I have a month where I'm not making as much money as the last month, while I trust myself I can, I can make more money, like it's never an issue because I've done it before and I can do it again. Same thing of like taking my life, of like I used to live this luxury life and then our family lost everything. Well, we were there at one point. I can do that again and I trust myself.

Speaker 2:

People don't make decisions quickly because they don't trust themselves and they need to. They need to ask their best friend if the Instagram photo looks nice. They need to ask their boyfriend if the dress looks good and they need to fucking call their parents before. Like do you guys think this is a good real estate investment? Like, just decide. And I saw a TikTok like a month ago by Alex Sermosi. He's a entrepreneur and he was on the speak just recently.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, he's good, yeah, he's good, he's so good.

Speaker 2:

I would love to see him speak. If he's coming to Texas, let's go again. Yes, absolutely I would love to see him. Like he, the TikTok, was basically saying like he's like what, in the time period it takes a quote, unquote normal person to make a decision let's say, take six hours for you to decide he's like I have made 500 decisions at that point, yeah. And it's like, then you wonder oh, he lives such a different life. That's exactly what I'm embodying for my doosling batshit crazy every single day. Like within the first week, I like booked the TV segment which is going to be literally actually live tomorrow, like I booked the TV segment.

Speaker 2:

I went to a networking event, like I applied for forms 30 under 30 because why not, you know? Like making all these moves, I applied to work with a PR agency, like there's all these things that I'm doing because your live podcast event that you talked about on your podcast.

Speaker 1:

And this is where I was like, oh my God, I fucking love Mikaela. You were like I didn't wait around, I wanted this and I'm not going to just sit and wait for somebody to ask me, a production company to ask me like hey, do you want to do a live podcast event or a tour or something Like you're like no, like I want it. I saw it and I made it happen. And then I was like yes, I was immediately online buying a freaking ticket. I was like I have to go because, just because like, but I love that if you, if you train yourself that's why, again, going back to that thing is like it's a muscle change your mindset, you will change your freaking life.

Speaker 1:

And the best part about girls like us that have ships at our mindset, it's even like when things are slow, if business is slow or if money's not coming in as fast, we're like, okay, we've recognized it. And then we, well, let's do this, you know, because that's clearly, clearly this, this avenue is slowing us down, so let's, let's go over here. Oh, that works. Most people give up if they see like, oh well, damn, like I was doing so good for six months and now, all of a sudden I'm not a lot of people give up and they're like, well, this must not be working. We are like, no, that didn't work. Okay, we're going to do this and that's going to work, or whatever, we're not afraid to keep going with it.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I can talk about this all day.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, same girl.

Speaker 2:

Sorry, I'm just like oh my gosh, the first thing that helps mine. I'm sure you have two examples. One I did, 75 Heart a couple of years ago. For anybody who doesn't know, 75 Heart is a is a mental toughness challenge. There's a lot of physical aspects to it but it's for mental toughness. For 75 days you do two 45 minute workouts. One has to be outside. You drink a gallon of water. You follow a strict diet, no cheap days, no alcohol. You take a progress photo every day and you read 10 pages of a book every single day. 75 days. If you miss the day, you have to completely start over, and I did. The guy who started it, andy Frisela. He's the CEO of First Forum, which is one of my sponsors Love them. He has a whole program where you do it for a year, like on and off in different ways. And I did it. And the first time I did 75 Heart, I completed it the first time through, and I see people on TikTok talk about 75 soft or like.

Speaker 2:

I'm doing 30 Heart and like all of these different things, or people that start 75 Heart and quit within two weeks, he says. Andy Frisela says that most people quit after 14 days. For me and this is exactly the mindset ship you're talking about Like that's not an option. The first time I decided I'm doing this, I'm doing it and so the thought of not finishing doesn't cross my mind. There were so many nights where I hadn't gotten my outdoor workout in and I would walk around the perimeter of my apartment building in LA at like two in the morning, like I would chug water and read my book until three in the morning before I'd go to bed. Like, for me, not following through, not making it work, was never an option, and right now, I kind of ranced about this on my Instagram stories yesterday. I'm taking a social media program and we're literally today is day five.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so when all of this happened was day four of a two month program where we do intensive work every single day, and day four, there were people in the group chat wanting refunds because they were like, oh well, we're, this is like really basic. Like we want the strategy, we want a content plan, we want X, y and Z and you're like we want to refund. Like I think this is to beginner, it's day four. Day four, like these are foundational things, like why are you willing to see things through? And so that tells me those people like they're quitting.

Speaker 2:

So many things they're giving up so quickly when there's a whole curriculum. If you just wait two more weeks, you're going to get the exact things you want and when people quit, you are two weeks away from the miracle you want. You are 48 hours away from the result you want, but you give up. Same thing with podcasting You're two months away from blowing up. You're one episode away from signing your next client and people give up way too soon. It needs to not be an option for you. It's not an option for successful people.

Speaker 1:

You have to build the foundations first. You cannot just go in and expect like you know, like when I started podcasting, I would have given up or I would have failed if I thought I was going to put out the best episode ever, my first episode, and think I was going to get like a million downloads. No that I would have given up, but you have to set the foundation first. You have to set those foundations. So your course that you're taking the social media, course that you have to have a foundation, you're going to give up. You have to have a foundation. And then, yeah, you have to go in with the mindset of, like I'm going to see this through.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm going to see it through. It's like that tells me a lot of people want this overnight success. You can't sustain the overnight success without the foundation. How are you going to blow up your social media if you're not clear on your niche and who you're serving and why?

Speaker 1:

you're doing that. It's our generation. Now think about it. We are this like microwave generation of people. We want results now, we want to be satisfied now. But you've got to realize if you especially being an entrepreneur, the delayed gratification you're going to work your ass off right now, put everything that you have into it so that later on your future self is like set up for success. It's a delayed gratification, it's not an instant gratification.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I'm like I want to scream talking about this, and I'm so glad that you brought that up to the idea of a delayed gratification, because I actually use this as a practice for manifesting and I think this is going to be really valuable for everybody listening. If you find yourself setting these goals and you're like I'm manifesting this, I'm manifesting that, and it's like, oh my gosh, these things are like so big and I'm not making progress, like, let's say, you want a 10 K month and you're like I need to make this amount every single day, right. And then you like, miss one day, like no, no, it's not happening, right, you start to create all this pressure because you're wanting these results right now. What I teach my clients is to set a long term vision. Have your goals for the year, absolutely, but I want you to focus on manifesting your five year vision, not just your one year vision, because when you look at the bigger picture, every single day is a win with the baby steps, right, and that's going to give you a lot more motivation to keep going, versus like I need to hit this this month. It needs to be this every single day and you start to see that motivation go down, because you want that instant gratification of seeing it's working every single day.

Speaker 2:

I have clients that can have MLM businesses like they'll sell, like Monet or Arvon, and they're like I have to hit these goals every single month and I'm like, well, why don't you just focus on your six month time period? You have to earn this trip or earn this car, whatever I'm like. When you think about the 30 days, it creates so much stress in your body, but when you think about six months, that's a lot bigger. And so if you're somebody that you create a lot of stress there's a lot of pressure through manifestations I want you to go bigger and go longer. What's your three year vision? What's through five year vision? Because then what you do every single day is going to be building up to that.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. I could not freaking agree more when you have something that's like okay, like, for example, like your short term goal, or you're looking at like the smaller picture of like okay, this year I need to make this every single month versus your five year long plan. So when you have that tunnel vision, you're focusing, you're fixated on like that one thing in a short period of time. You are actually having the worst tunnel vision. You're not seeing the opportunities around you that are trying to come in to try to make that happen for you or make it even better, because with that you know like that tunnel, but you're trying to control the outcome of it.

Speaker 1:

Versus if you have a five year plan, you're like I don't know how this is going to happen, but I have five years to figure it out. And you are actually more receptive and more open to other avenues of approach of how that goal is going to come to fruition, versus being fixated on it. You are fixated on the outcome. It has to happen this one way versus your five year goal, where you're more relaxed. You're like I have five years, I'm not going to fix it on how it's going to happen. I don't know how it's going to happen, but I know it will, and you're more open to seeing other opportunities. Other people are going to come into your life and say, hey, I used to know that, or I do that, this is how I did it, or I know a guy that does that. You know, like you, there's more, there's more room for more opportunities, if that makes sense. I probably explained that horribly, girl. I'm not a coach, but I probably explained that terribly. No, that's perfect.

Speaker 2:

I'm like yes, yes, yes, yes, yeah, there's a great more room for the opportunities, like you said, but it creates more room for the magic. And also, when we can look at playing bigger and be like I don't know how you're going to matter for us a lot faster, because the house, not your job, and when you do plan step by step, by step by step by step, housing is going to happen. That plan, I'm telling you right now, is going to get fucked up.

Speaker 2:

Like never goes to plan, literally like and even in like a good sense. So, with my podcast tour, um, so I obviously have my podcast and, for anybody who doesn't know, I really wanted to start hosting live podcasting events. And I told myself like, oh, I'm going to have to like sign with a network and they're going to have to produce it for me and you know, whatever. And I was just like, fuck that, I'm tired of waiting, and so I'm hosting my own event and it already sold out in three weeks, which is crazy.

Speaker 2:

But, I said, yeah, it was. So I cried when I saw that it sold out and I set the date for the end of May because I literally thought it was going to take me five months to sell the event and it sold out in three weeks.

Speaker 1:

So it's like girl, how do that? Was that's why I got my ticket. I knew you were going to sell it. Sorry, I mean I interrupt you, but I'm just like oh you're insane. I knew that was going to take it quick.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, I love your confidence in me. I'm like, okay, I need to have that confidence next time around, but like, this is going to sell out, which would be an even better belief to have, honestly, um, and so it's like things never go to plan Never, ever, ever and they unfold in ways that are way better than what we could have imagined. And I think I talked about this on a podcast episode recently. It was like if you make a full plan, right, like, let's say, this is my strategy for the entire year, I actually view that as a form of self sabotage, because you just wasted all that time planning out this entire plan.

Speaker 2:

It's probably not going to go to how you think it is, and in that time, if you spent those three hours or whatever, you could have been taking massive action and just get it figured out all the way. You could have set your goals and every day, just what do I feel called to do? Start taking those action steps and you'll have an outline, you know whatever. But when you're mapping out every single little thing, you're wasting your time, and we do that because we're scared it's not going to happen, because we don't know how, and so we think, if we find that how it's going to like ensure our success, but really it's just wasting our own time and so yeah, so we never know the how it never goes to how we think it's going to.

Speaker 1:

But the house of our business anyway. That's like I love this. I think Gaby Bernstein said it how is none of our business? I don't care how my manifestations happen, I just care that they happen.

Speaker 1:

So I don't even fixated it on, like when I quit my job in San Diego and I just randomly moved to Texas, like literally randomly I didn't know how it was going to succeed. I came here to get into real estate but I didn't even have a real estate license, so like I am a single mom, so like, but I knew I'm at this and failure wasn't an option for me. I wrote it on like a little sticky note and I was like I don't know how this is going to happen, but I have this vision of in my head of what I'm coming here to do. I don't care how it happens, it just it's going to happen. And I and I had that confidence it's going to happen. Yeah, and everybody again who doesn't have that vision tried to talk me out of it. Even my dad, who works in real estate in California, is like so you're moving to a state where nobody knows you to get into a career where it's referrals and clients and if nobody knows who you are, how are you going to make this work?

Speaker 1:

And I remember like sitting at a coffee shop with him and I was like I don't know, I just know that it's going to work and guess what Forty something houses in 12 months. Girl, like I didn't know. But but that's. But that's what I want to tell other women. It's like if you're not happy with your life, you are at rock bottom, which I was at rock bottom, and you're just in this like spiraling depression, whole. Like you, you can have your moment, like you had, like have your download, and I didn't question it. I had a download, I didn't question it, I just knew it was like I need to sell my house and move to Texas and then you just have to trust it. But I wasn't fixing it on the house, I just knew it will unfold and it did. As soon as I got here, people and girls, everybody just came into my life at the right moments to help me. Because we're you, don't? You don't have to do it alone and you're not going to. You don't have to do it alone.

Speaker 2:

So I love that it's so powerful when we can listen to our intuition and when we can trust ourselves again, like I feel like a big theme of this is like I trusted myself and I launched everything. I trust myself to manage and make money. I trust myself to figure out the podcast event. Like I still have no idea what equipment I'm going to need to use, but I'm going to figure it out Like I have now. I have four months to figure it out, so it's totally fine and it's like when we trust ourselves we can make moves like that.

Speaker 2:

When I moved across the country from Nebraska to LA, I didn't even have a house at the time. We packed up all of our stuff and moved and stayed in an Airbnb for two weeks before we found an actual house to move into. Like I didn't know how things were going to happen, I didn't know when I would get the house, but I was just like you know, I'm committing to this and it doesn't make sense and it usually won't and it just needs to make sense in your heart and the feelings need to make sense.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I like that, we will.

Speaker 1:

I say we isn't like we're doing together, but I wanted I mean I like that.

Speaker 1:

We started off with the topic of like OK, I'm coming into this talking about money, but ultimately it's turning into like yes, like, trust yourself, you fix your mindset, start trusting your intuition and your life is going to completely change.

Speaker 1:

I know we're coming up on our our mark, so I know you have like a busy day, but for everybody listening and who can feel connected with you through this episode, talk about what's the name of your podcast, talk about how we can find you social media and, of course, like, I will link all of that in the show notes because I want women to find you and utilize you. If there's a course that resonates with them, I want them to sign up for your course. Your courses are so good and your Instagram is so high vibe, and so if you just need, if you need a hype girl, kayla J is your type girl. She will go on, like you said, like a ramp about just anything, but you're also very positive and you inspire women, like just to get out of your comfort zone, and that's what I love about your Instagram, so let's talk about that.

Speaker 2:

All the things Well, I hope you guys want to come and connect with me. My podcast is called the mindset, magic and manifestation podcast. Your three M's pretty easy to find. You can listen on literally any platform. You listen to podcasts on. It's a vibe. We do an episode every single one day. It's again. It's a mini masterclass like. Use it as a resource. You can connect with me on Instagram, tiktok, anything under the Michaela J, and then my website has all of my programs. It's just Michaela Jcom and if you really wanted to dive into manifestation and redo your mindset and really lean into the self trust we've been talking about, I highly recommend you start with the M M method. Like I said, that was the first program I ever, ever sold and it's still the one I run today because that manifestation method that I really mastered those nine months, like that's what I still use, you know, and it wasn't like oh, let's, let's change it and like, oh, like you don't fix what's not broken. This is shit.

Speaker 2:

It's already tried and true.

Speaker 1:

Like you know what I mean. Like, yeah, like you said, don't fix it If it's not broken. If you've lived it, you've proved that it works. And then you have the clients to also back you up, like yes, this works.

Speaker 2:

It works, it's so good. So, if you are really wanting to have, like this, life and mindset makeover and move your manifestations forward, start with M M method. But also, if you're like Michaela, I have no idea where to start, I don't know what I want, I don't know what's good for me. You can just message me on Instagram and we can find what's a good fit for you. But yeah, podcast my magic manifestation and, on everything, be Michaela Jai.

Speaker 1:

And you also do one-on-one as well. Right, if somebody wanted to sign it, you do one-on-one, and then, as I know, your podcast event is sold out. But do you see yourself doing more?

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I have no idea what the city I want to do next? While I was selling tickets, girls were like come to Denver, come to San Francisco, do ballet. What about New York City?

Speaker 1:

I'm like, oh my God, I got a lot of places to go New York and Denver, I feel like, would be incredible spots to do something like that.

Speaker 2:

I think you guys are hearing it first. I think New York City will be the next one. I love New York, see, I don't, but my best friend lives there. I love it.

Speaker 1:

Happy place. The shopping is not shop and like spend all your money.

Speaker 2:

The shopping is great, the food is insane. It's just like such a busy city, it's like so energetically loud. But I feel like I'll do New York, because another thing on my vision board this year is I want to do a video and photo shoot with this photo agency and they're based out of New York City and they do the coolest photo shoots, and so I feel like I'm going to make that one big trip where I'll do the photo, video shoot, the live podcast, whatever. So probably do New York City for anybody who wants to come and hang out with us live. It's going to be a blast, but no promises. That's just what I'm thinking.

Speaker 1:

It's to be determined, and then so also any more retreats coming up that anybody should know about. Do you have any more retreats in those?

Speaker 2:

Yes, literally a week from today, I'm going to be leaving to go to Bali for three weeks. I am so excited. I have my Bali retreat, which is sold out. Obviously, that's in three weeks. I have a sold out Palm Springs retreat, so the next one you can look forward to is going to be in August and there's a wait list on my website. Right now the location is a secret. You have to sign up for the wait list to find out, and that link is on my website. My retreats are a five day fully immersive experience. You stay with me and other spiritual, like-minded girls in a massive luxury villa wherever we are, and we spend our days with, like I'd say, one third relaxation, integration, regulating your nervous system, opening up, one third of the time doing workshops and having time with me for breakthroughs, and one third of the time just like having fun, adventuring, exploring, doing breath work or zip lining or whatever we have planned. So it's literally the whole.

Speaker 2:

It really is. There's so much fun. You guys can follow me on Instagram. You're going to see so much Bali content You're going to think, holy shit, I wish I was there. So the retreat's really fast for that reason. So definitely get on the wait list to find out all of the secret details.

Speaker 1:

Awesome. Well, again, thank you so much for being here. This episode actually hits tonight because I was that excited. This is all going to be tonight. Ladies, please listen, listen to the podcast, go follow Micaela J on all the social media. Take one of her classes. She has the best thing I obviously your website is so beautiful, by the way, you have prices for every single budget out there. So if you're just a girl like that's just getting into manifestation, law of attraction, money, mindset, all those things Like there's a price budget for every single person out there, take a class, start somewhere and, yeah, just go check her out. But I am so appreciative of you being here. Seriously, by far, this interview exceeded all of my expectations. Like you are just like such a magnetic soul and you are that girl. Like you are the girl that can walk into a room and it's just like a little ray of sunshine, because I feel like I feel that vibe through your podcast and so, yeah, I just I feel so happy and I'm on like cloud nine, right now so happy.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, this has been a blast. Like such a good conversation and for everybody listening, honestly, this is one you need to listen to three times, and this is what I say for a lot of like masterclasses. Like, listen once and just get the vibe, Listen a second time and take notes and listen a third time with your notes. That's when you're gonna get the most out of things. And every time you listen to a podcast, a masterclass, a module and a program, you're gonna get something different every single time. And we talked about so many things here Like this we should hold this for once. Like this is a whole masterclass and if you take what we've talked about in this episode, really use it to change your life, you will live a completely different life in 90 days. So I'm just so happy to be here. Thanks for having me on. This was a total blast and I can't wait to see you at the live podcast.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh girl, it's gonna be so much fun. We can get offline later on when the time comes a little bit closer. I wanna know what you're wearing, cause I need to like I need to go buy a new outfit, obviously So-.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I think we already fixed it out.

Speaker 1:

I'll send you a photo of it, gosh. Yes, okay, girl. Thank you so much for being on updated AF. I appreciate you, thanks.
