Hi friends. I just got. The most. Amazing compliment from a friend. And it was so affirming to me because she's a scientist. She said she loves picture love. My podcast) because there's more neuroscience and epigenetics presented in a loving way than originally she realized. She said it's filled with good intentions and practical tools, gentle enough for everyone to help reprogram the subconscious mind, even shift the gene expression, all using pictures and captured memories. And those words just validated what I am not educationally licensed and trained in both my body and my heart believe. I believe that photos are one way that we can picture love into our lives and make ourselves heal, strengthen relationships, show up better for ourselves so we can show up better in the world. It gave me so much support receiving that encouragement. I'm going to dedicate my first ever picture love exercise. To my new friend, Linda. So in order to participate in this, I need you to think of somebody who, you know, right now. Really. Needs some love and support, and either you don't know how to support them or you don't have a direct connection to contact them. Or maybe they just aren't open to receiving your help. Everybody's got somebody like that. It can be somebody you've raised, you grew up with, who raised you, who's in a community with you or somebody that, you know, because they are known by mainstream and you just want to come alongside of them during a crucial period in history. Think of that one person right now. Picture their face in your mind. Now, maybe this is somebody who's already in your camera roll, but to avoid distraction of, of scrolling and notifications and interruptions, I would advise you just. Don't look at any screens per se, for this activity. You're going to need to close your eyes if you're not driving. And if it's safe to really fully embody this practice. All right. So once you have that person chosen. You can do this as many times as you want. Just pick one person to start with. Okay. Pictured them in your mind and take a nice gentle, body filling breath. Allow your face to smile and relax. And as you picture their face and see what in your body you can let go. Whether it's a clenched jaw, or relaxing your stomach, or your shoulders. Something to keep you connected to your body. While you are visualizing their face. Put your hands and your heart with me, if you would. And just like on a camera lens, zoom in to their face. And imagine a beautiful, gentle, warm light. All around them, and especially making their face come into focus. You might notice the face doesn't look too happy if they are overburdened with a worry or a stress or an illness or just something unmentionable. Then with your next deep inhale. I want you to just breathe, fill your lungs with the love; the universal love that, you know, And as you exhale, imagine that worry just vanishing from their life story. Observe their face in your mind. Observe how their face softens. Brightens. Maybe a look of shock. a look of relief. A look void of pain. The struggle, the worry, melts away. And all of a sudden there's a space, a beautiful void that can be filled with. Relief. Joy. Hope. Healing. Gratitude. Are you smiling like I am? Then feel those emotions in your own heart right now. I keep picturing the look on their face. Even if they are more of a stoic kind. And just see their version of a smile. Of a peaceful look on their face. You can open your eyes. Now, if you haven't already. And picture that love- on their face- as a loving intention- without injecting or enforcing or controlling them. You're just sending them energetic love. And hopefully you're feeling all of those beautiful emotions in your own body. And filling your cup in the process. That is one way I invite you today. To picture love with me. If this resonates, please share it with somebody else just because you love. I appreciate you. I have a beautiful day.
