Speaker 1:

All right, man, this episode. We're going to continue the conversation with my man, stan Jackson. He's going to continue to answer some questions. I got form dropped. That wisdom. Tell a little bit more about himself and his story during his path to mental wellness and growth. Let's get it.

Speaker 1:

And so one of the questions that I was going to ask you is the importance of the prophetic as a man, specifically as a husband, because there's been so many times, because here's the thing you can operate in the prophetic without being a prophet. And I think, because Paul says I will, that you are what prophesied. He didn't say I would that you all be prophets. He said I will that you all prophesy. Because there's been moments in my marriage where my wife just need a good word, a good prophetic word, to encourage her, to lift her up, to give her a glimpse of what she's fighting for. And if you don't have the ability to do that, what do you do? You know, it's just like man, she having one of her moments. And my wife has gotten to the point and I'm telling you I keep going back to this your wife is the blueprint, your wife is the blueprint. My wife, she's gotten to the point where she'd be like. Look, I need a word from the prophetic word smoking over me right now.

Speaker 1:

I'm not doing good mentally and emotionally, but I don't need you to try to fix anything. I don't need you to try to give me no advice. I need you to hear from God and give me a prophetic like speak over my life right now.

Speaker 1:

And I'm just like and to me we've been in this a while to know. I know how to do that, I know how to flow in that, but how many men who are married, who wives, could benefit from something like that? But they don't know how to hear from God, Because all prophecy is is just hearing from the Lord and saying what you heard here's the prog obedience. Yes.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and major sacrifice.

Speaker 1:

But I guess a clear, a clarifying question is have you found that benefit beneficial in your marriage and how would you, how would you advise someone who who lacks that in theirs?

Speaker 2:

Wow, You'd be asking them challenging questions, man, because that's huge. But first of all, because I didn't believe in a prophetic, I had to learn to accept it. Yes, and a lot of people don't understand it. Like you said, you know they could be doing it, but not knowing they're doing it. So it takes a lot of dedication to be in the prophetic, a lot of major sacrifice. Matter of fact, when you in prophetic, you got to give up everything. So to answer your question, to hear from God, you really got to be obedient and be selflessness.

Speaker 1:

Yes Self.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you got to be completely selfless. And once you open up that door, and when God give you a word, he gives you the courage to not, like I said, the law picture. Not only say it, but live it out. Yes, and with our wives, they want to see it. Yes, before they hear us. Yes, even though they want to, it's one of us to talk, but what she's really saying show me something.

Speaker 1:

Oh, come on.

Speaker 2:

So I can believe in you when you tell me it yes. Yes, that's what she's really saying yes, pearl, I need you to level up.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

So I can see it, so I can continue to feed on, so I can believe with you. Yes, because I'm losing sight. Yes, in this area, right now, I'm wavering, because here's the thing with the devil the enemy or self will do we get so busy, we forget our mission. We get so busy, we doing a good thing right, but not the right thing.

Speaker 1:

Good, but they want to see us operate, and that's why I believe, as men, as husbands, it's important to have the vision for your family.

Speaker 2:

And here's another thing. So when you give us a vision now, you have to step in it, because when we think the vision is, it's all going. Oh, god's gonna give me ABCD.

Speaker 1:

EMG.

Speaker 2:

And no, god, do something totally different and come in a totally different way and, like you, want me to do what? No, I ain't doing that. But when you start doing it, that's when he, it's nothing but God. So when you start walking, in that light.

Speaker 1:

Listen, you have to love more than the idea.

Speaker 2:

It's late too.

Speaker 1:

We're gonna wrap up. You gotta love more than the idea of the vision. You have to actually love the vision, because some, for instance, like someone might oh God, this is the favorite one I like making front of God is sending us to the nations.

Speaker 2:

Wow, wow, yeah.

Speaker 1:

But you ain't doing nothing. International Right, right, wow, love it. Mental capacity is still local. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, but if God is giving you a vision of compassion and love and something grand, what steps have he given you that you've obeyed? That's how it works with me. What steps have I?

Speaker 2:

yeah.

Speaker 1:

So say, to put practicality to what you just said, so like if someone says you know they want a prophetic word, but they want it to be lived out before it's spoken, or you know both, and it's because some people live chasing the next word and they always want a word, they always want to be gassed up in the spirit. But could it be that God isn't trying to give you a word because you ain't been obedient to last seven?

Speaker 2:

Alright, God's showing you if you pay attention to his voice.

Speaker 1:

And so this is good.

Speaker 2:

He maybe wants you to get it for yourself, because he's learning I'm learning how to, to hear and understand what he's saying to me. Yes, versus, because God's always talking To, always, always talking, always, to the point where I, like God, can't take no more Dude.

Speaker 1:

I've been there. I can't, I can't do it.

Speaker 2:

It's too much. It could give me a. I see everything as a message, yeah, but what happens is he takes you on these little things like I have to fast and fast from talking and fast from eating one day. And I had to be in a meeting with six people Can't talk.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it can't talk.

Speaker 2:

And I had to write notes out and they like dude, what's wrong with you? I can't talk right now, I can't. So those are the little things that you. Yeah the two to two to start obedience, to start in that area. But here's when you prophetic. You can't just smile off as anything because you upset.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but that's that's, that's the. Now you're going into the office of the prophet Because I think that's not the off. So we're going to go stay because people who are not called to the office. They don't have that same severity. Okay, all right.

Speaker 2:

So you know. But just, but just being prophetic, and I and I guess what I'm trying to say is men learning to hear from God- so so this what it looks like, guys, because we always going to get upset for us, but it looks like we playing video games, right, we trying to level up, right, but, gentlemen, what it looks like when we actually connect with God we cannot do nothing with our God.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it's like even you call a parent or a father or even a friend and you expect for somebody to answer on the other end. When you dial that number, that's what God's saying with you. Yeah. When you spending time and communicating with God, god wants to talk to you. Just like you call a friend up, yeah. Like you dial somebody number, yeah, like are in the mercy of something happening, you call 911. God's the same way, yeah. But when you hear the person on the other phone, you just don't be actually frantic. You explain your case, you explain why you called, or you are receiving the phone call, and then you execute it and have a win-win communication by the time you get off that phone call. True, that's what it looks like. True, either that person wants you to listen or they want to hear what you have to say. But either way, by the time you get off that phone call, there is a friendship there. It's called a connection. God wants us to connect. So once he do that, and you do that on a regular and call God, and it's greater clarity after the call man, you call God up every single day and you, god, don't have to say anything for the next 30, 60 days. But I guarantee you, by the bus 61 day he gonna speak to you.

Speaker 2:

The Bible says in Matthew seven and seven. What does it say? Seek, ask, seek and not. That's our, that's our mandate. Yeah, as Christians are kingdom. Yeah, but what it looks like as a man. How can I follow you if you don't even know where you're going?

Speaker 1:

Spiritually or naturally, come on.

Speaker 2:

I can't follow you bro.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

And if I was a woman, I don't care how much money you got, you want me to do what I can't do that you got my life and my soul and my kids. Oh, I need to know, yes, what's our vision for the next five years? Here's how I know. Before we go off, I always ask me this. I always ask two question bro, where are you going? Yes, and then, what is in five years? Where are you going to be with your?

Speaker 1:

family. Yes, just like a regular job.

Speaker 2:

But spiritually though, where are you going? And five years where you going to become God? Always give you the mission he's going to show you what it looks like. But if you don't know that, then you might want to go with me and her I was talking about, and spend some time with the heavenly father, literally.

Speaker 1:

Listen, because I've talked to. I've talked to men. I've talked to men and I've been like you know what do you see yourself, you know, five years from now? And they'll tell me. And then I'm like dang man, I don't know if the Lord going to do all that. And they're like why you said that. I said not once did you tell me how your wife and kids fit into that? And if you can get a vision, if you can, if you can articulate where you're going to be five years from now and your family is not a part of that I have a hard time believing that it is from the God.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, can I say this her?

Speaker 1:

absolutely.

Speaker 2:

I don't know you got so many Christians out here and they tell them all they want to see Heaven and they want have a revival and they want to do all this and no punnag is that? That's all fine, the daddy, but ask yourself this one question Are you willing to die for the cause? Come on, a lot of Christians want to go to heaven, but they don't want to die. Yeah, that's a military statement in the Navy. All these people want to do go to heaven, but nobody want to die. They're afraid of death. True leader is not afraid of death, it's true. No, seriously, think about every leader that you know, true leader martyr or something else.

Speaker 2:

They suck, they selfishness, and they died for the cause or or someone who's fully committed. You have as a leader, you have to be committed.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's no easy, because you may not necessarily be well, I think, I think everyone's caught to some form of leadership, but sometimes, like you, may not be the leader. But if you're completely committed and bought into Division of what's going on, then you you're not afraid to die. Yeah, I remember when I was a In early in our marriage I freed Cassie out because we were broke broke and they cracker in in peanut butter broke.

Speaker 1:

Broke like my little part-time job Couldn't even pay our rent, oh, and we had all the other bills too. And she was like what are we gonna do if we can't survive, Mmm? I was like, well then we'll die.

Speaker 2:

Hmm, I didn't get stress and she was like wow, what?

Speaker 1:

what do you mean? I was like we'll die and we'll be kicking it with Jesus.

Speaker 2:

Our work here is done.

Speaker 1:

Our work here is done.

Speaker 2:

And she was like she's like, she's like nah, she's like nah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, cuz she, she, she countered with, with, with David. She was like no, no, no, no David in the Bible. Oh, david, okay, all right, she didn't know him. Oh no, what David, all right because you know when David was going against.

Speaker 2:

David.

Speaker 1:

David, yeah, no, he wasn't king at the time, okay, he was just a little shepherd boy, okay, when he was going against Goliath, and but they anointed for King before he did that though. Yes, yeah, and so, and this is why he was anointed. Yeah for kingship, but he hadn't had been placed in the position yet for sure. So when he went against Goliath, yeah, he knew the promise has not been yet fulfilled. Yeah, bro, I can't die.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 1:

God has already told me I'm about to be king. I ain't king yet I'm not about to dive against this, this dude. He can't kill me. So here's my, my, my Life's the thing, the good boy, they got. Yeah, that's not yet been fulfilled.

Speaker 2:

Oh man.

Speaker 1:

So he can't kill me I love that, I love that yeah my wife said we're not done, mmm, we can't die. Wow, and I was like well, I guess we gonna get the money there. We got the money, we got them bills Wow. And that's the testimony for sure but it's true is true is because you have. If I wasn't in the mind state to be like you know, if I die, I die.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's nothing I can do about it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Then I would have tried to make something happen in the wrong from the wrong mindset yeah for sure In the wrong source.

Speaker 1:

And if my wife wasn't the woman that she was and was like yo? We can't die Right, we can't not make it Right, because there's work for us to do. God has called us to something and we have not seen it come to pass. Yeah, so this is not the. This struggle that we're going through is not going to be the end of us. Yeah, because there's still yet more for us to do, wow.

Speaker 2:

And I was just like you're right.

Speaker 1:

I don't know how God's going to do it. Yeah, but he going to do it.

Speaker 2:

It got good with that, though.

Speaker 1:

And he did it.

Speaker 2:

He's always good with that. He did it. I love him for that. Thank you, Father, for that. I love you for that. Do I do? I really do?

Speaker 1:

We're going to end this. You know I'm going to end this like this. I heard, because we were talking about money and stuff. I heard this crazy, you can take however you guys can take however you want. I think it'd be funny. But this guy, he's a no, she's a prophet. This is Lady, she's a prophet and she was like I've never budgeted a day in my life.

Speaker 1:

So I never had a budget, she said, because I just asked God to help me generate more income. She said I'm not going to budget Because if I need more income, I'm not going to limit God with a budget. I'm just asking for more money.

Speaker 2:

I like that.

Speaker 1:

And I was like whoa and she's like you know what, I'm a millionaire today and never wanted and never had a budget, because the Holy Spirit always makes the bottom line, oh, wow. And I was like I was like oh they Ramsay about to have a damn with them.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's been principle. We got a budget, what's your bottom line? But she was saying.

Speaker 1:

She was saying how, when you trust God completely and when you are steward over what he gives you, you don't need a budget if you got obedience. How powerful is that? You don't need a budget. As long as you got obedience, you got to walk in it, because if you got a budget and can't obey God man, you still ain't going to have no money.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to speak on that. I went to a wedding two weeks ago and I had like $200. It's not big money or anything, but it's $200. And I'm saying this for a reason. When you be obedient to God, and God gives you your gifting and you are anointed like that. And I never was a giver. My wife was like give the coat off her bag. I'm the other dude. I'm like, look, I need your coat and my coat. That's how God had to work through some things, because the comedy mindset I used to have.

Speaker 2:

But the guy's song in his wedding was a good friend of mine. He's a pastor. He did 25 years of getting married and they just renewed their vows.

Speaker 1:

Oh, nice, nice.

Speaker 2:

But the guy got up and sung. It was like two songs and it was just so on point. See, you got people who sing and then you got people who's anointed to sing. There's a difference and it breaks that yoke.

Speaker 2:

Yes, so I turned to my wife I said look, I got $200. I want to find his brother. I'm going to give him everything in my pocket. I was trying to look for the brother but he wasn't there. So I think he's going to go back to the reception because we was at the church. So we go to the reception. I know the guys who play the piano. I'm like, hey, bro, I've seen these guys in a while. Hey, what is that guy? He said I don't think he even showed up. You know he's not here. But I said, man, if I would have saw him, I would have just gave him this money. And I'm saying this for a reason you have to be in the position to be blessed, woo. You have to hear from God because of what the devil would do is put you out of position when he was just talking about how to be in the millionaire, put you out of position to make you think. That get you all incoherent, spiritually and naturally.

Speaker 2:

So when you're supposed to go to the left, you go into the right, and somebody was right there waiting for you to give you a blessing for what they saw in some other areas in your life. Yes, you gotta be positioned to be blessed. So, at this walk, when you ask to, end this podcast would it look like? Position yourself, man, you have to be in position yourself Position.

Speaker 1:

And you know that happened to that lady who was saying about the budget, Because she was obedient. She was in position for God to use the people around her to bless her and she used that to start a multi-million dollar business. Yeah, it's all about business, but if she would have went, the other way and never met those people and never gotten those circles and never been aligned with them. She'd probably be working a nine to five yeah.

Speaker 2:

So you asked your question. So, going back four stories so we ended you're. What's the name of the? Do the work? Do the work. Do the work is being the position to be positioned for your position. Dude, do the work to get in position. Do the work to be in a position for the position, for your position.

Speaker 1:

Or another way be in position so you don't have to get in position. Ooh, or stay in position. Stay in position, so you don't have to get in position.

Speaker 2:

Either way, either way, either way, don't miss your blessing. Don't miss it, man.

Speaker 1:

It's basically when they say stay ready, so you ain't gotta get ready.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so stay in position. So you ain't gotta get in position.
