14: Jyoti Sinha: Revisiting Definitions of Strength and Living Impactfully
Dr. Jyoti Sinha exemplifies a contemporary outlook while honoring tradition. Having come to the US at a tough age that she aptly characterizes as tender yet resilient, and after weathering a rough start, Jyoti steadfastly kept her focus on her goal to be a doctor and achieved it on her own terms.
Jyoti’s attitude toward parenting and being a wife is amazingly fresh and unencumbered by shallow assumptions. Inspired by what she imbibed from her parents, she has defined the expectations borne out of being a woman rooted in tradition as a source of strength and empowerment for herself - something for every Indian wife to think about!
At once a symbol of strength as well as tenderness, Jyoti’s life has been an example of a life lived with purpose, thoughtfulness and love.
