Measures we have taken to boost Your Competitive Edge in One Loft Racing
Good morning from Victoria Falls! In this episode, Geoff Armand expands on how to gain a competitive edge in one-loft pigeon racing and the measures we've taken to support you:
🐦 Healthy, Well-Trained Young Pigeons: Success hinges on the health and age of your pigeons. Aim to send young pigeons (45-60 days old) from the breeding loft.
🐦 New Quarantine Facility: We're building a new quarantine loft right here in Victoria Falls. This will shorten the period away from the Race Loft and allow pigeons to settle faster.
🐦 Age-Specific Training: We will categorize and train pigeons based on their age. Younger pigeons will be exercised and trained separately from older pigeons to give them the necessary thorough grounding.
🐦 Breeding Loft in Bulawayo: Our new breeding loft, 400km from Victoria Falls, will allow pigeons to be bred in local conditions and enable fanciers who can’t send young pigeons or can’t participate because of veterinary restrictions to take part in the race. Pigeons from auctions whilst still in Zimbabwe can go directly into the breeding loft after the final to breed babies for the race.
🐦 Opportunity to Book Breeding Space: Current and past customers have until July 15th to book space in the breeding loft. After this date, it will be opened to others interested in the Victoria Falls One Loft Race.
