Studies have shown that children who read regularly develop better language skills, a richer vocabulary and a love for learning that can last a lifetime. Choose a consistent time each day for reading. Bedtime is popular because it helps calm your child before sleep. 2. Create a cozy reading nook. Set up a comfortable spot with good lighting and a selection of books. This dedicated space can make reading more inviting. 3. Keep it short and sweet, especially with younger children. Keep reading sessions short to match their attention spans. You can gradually increase the length as they grow.
