Nampa's Budget Fight against Valley Regional Transit with Sebastian Griffin
Aug 12, 2024 Episode 180
Matt Todd

Sebastian Griffin is one of the city councilmen from Nampa and is fighting to reduce wasteful spending in the city by reducing funding for Valley Regional Transit. There has been confusion about how utilized the service is for years, but after riding the bus from Nampa to Boise and back every day for weeks, Sebastian concluded that there are literally under 10 regular passengers that benefit from those bus lines on a daily basis. However, reducing the budget comes with many strings attached, including potentially losing funding for sidewalk improvements. Enjoy!
