In this episode we take the adage "if you don't laugh, you'll cry," to the absolute maximum. And friends, we manage not to cry.

It's 1993 and Edward "Fitz" Fitzgerald has been, you've guessed it, hired as a consultant to the police. He traumatises everyone around him, which is weird considering he supposed to be such an amazing psychologist, but he is good at catching the bad guy, so that's ok.

And by the way, the name we couldn't get - Vicky McClure. So now you know.

Our next episode will be on "Professor T", season one, episode five, "Sophie Knows."

At the time of recording "Cracker" was available to watch on ITVX in the UK, and on Britbox in the US.

This episode contains descriptions of fictionalised violence, and is, of course, full of SPOILERS.
