Day 26 marked a turning point in my journey towards healthier habits, a day that seemed like any other but felt like a new beginning. The habit-forming process had finally clicked, and it was as if a light had been switched on, guiding me towards a life of recovery that was no longer just a concept, but a tangible, vibrant reality. This episode is an intimate exploration of the methods and mindsets that have illuminated my path—affirmations acting as my daily heralds, journaling as my reflective confidant, and the undeniable strength found in the solidarity of a community. Whether you're navigating the tumultuous waves of change or just seeking that spark to ignite your own transformation, this shared space is a beacon, welcoming all who are dedicated to the pursuit of perseverance.

We're all aboard this roller coaster of emotions, each dip and rise crafting the narrative of our recovery. Embrace the light within you, discard the weight of fear, and join hands with us as we stride forward.  It's a journey that demands more than passive listening; it's a call to action, a challenge to roll up your sleeves and engage with the raw, often messy, but always rewarding work of self-discovery and growth. This episode is a tribute to your efforts and a heartfelt reminder that the triumphs of recovery are worth every tear and every smile.

Yeah, so day 26, one of my favorite days. You think about recovery because I remember 26 days. You know new habits. It takes about 21 to 30 days to form a new habit. So day 26 is right in that area where I wake up and I'm like man, I need to be doing this, this and this. Instead of that, yes, and that's a beautiful day, it's a beautiful moment. We're in a home stretch. Yep, it's light. Yes, after talking about peace, light is next up. Yes, I am the light and I have no fear 's nothing to fear, but fear itself. And who has time to be fearing? We ain't got time for that. You can't buy time. You can't buy time back. So what's the point? Right? So lift, ignite, gifting, healing and tranquility. That's light. Think about light. What does it do? Think about light just for a moment, take a quick moment. Think about what light does when you close your eyes and if you can see light right now in your mind, what does that do? Yes, I'm interested, I love it. I learn from people, I learn from you. This is how we do it. We do it together. This is a community, common unity. Yes, I am the light and I have no fear. Remind yourself, man, I'm telling you, recovery could be damaging, it could be hard, it could be tough. All those good things, but what it will do, when done correctly, it would help you persevere. And I'm telling you, perseverance is key when you think about recovery. That's the end game. Yep, day 26,. We near the end game. We have light now in our life and things feel much better. When I wake up now I'm smiling more. I'm looking forward to journaling. I'm looking forward to putting things on paper. I'm looking forward to processing information, man, my thought process, how do I yes, I'm telling you journaling. Game changer, man, shout out to LIE Foundation, O-W-W-L-L, Ocean Tree Creative, the crew. I appreciate everything, all that you guys do for me every single day, man. It's a journey, guys, not a destination, and I appreciate the people on the journey with us. So shout out to you too, everybody, under the sound of my voice man, recovery is a big deal. I want to shout you out yes, day 26 again. Guys, make sure you are focused. You doing your journaling, it's all about you. This is not for me, this is for you. Do you do the work? Came by recovery. I say it all the time you cannot buy recovery. I wish I could send you an invoice and say a recovery is gonna be 99 cent tomorrow because that's cheap, okay, but you can't. You actually have to roll up your sleeves and put in the work and, yep, when you put in the work, there's obstacles. It's like a roller coaster ride You're going to. You might cry sometimes, you might laugh sometimes, but overall, what you're going to do is learn yourself and you're going to learn what works for you. So shout out to you, man, for putting in the work. I'm super proud of you, proud man. I'm proud to know you. Man, recovery is a huge thing and it takes a lot of work and not everybody can do it. And you're doing it. So I'm very happy and I'm very thankful. Continue to keep supporting Affirmations for recovery, man. There's a lot of great things coming out, man. You see it streaming somewhere, man. Make sure you share that with somebody. Man, what is the light? What is the light, man? The light is that shiny spot in a dark room, man, light, and that's what you should always focus on. Keep your sights on the light, no matter how dim it is, because the more you walk towards it, the more it becomes bigger and brighter, and the more you do the work, the more it becomes brighter and it starts to shine. So shout out to everybody doing the work, man. It just excites me to think about the work that we're doing. Until next time, take care of yourself and each other. Let's go.
