This pesky fear can creep in and ruin our work, relationships and even our self-worth. It can show up as a fear of failing, being judged or just being rejected, particularly for those with psychiatric conditions, like social anxiety or body dysmorphia.
The fear of rejection can make us run from situations or make us so sensitive to criticism that we struggle to connect with others. It's a pain, but there are ways to fight it!
Checking in with ourselves and our emotions is a great first step. We can try breathing techniques, meditation, or journaling to help us manage those pesky emotions. It's also helpful to reflect on past successes and build up our self-esteem. And remember, we don't have to do it alone - we can lean on our trusted friends and family for support. Rejection can feel like everyone is against us, but we don't have to let it rule our lives.
With some self-love, reflection, and support, we can kick that fear to the curb and live our best lives!
