Welcome to the It Stands Written Podcast where we have expository conversations about the Bible and how it applies to us today. As we saw in the last episode how God created government, we now talk about how it is our job to run it as God would intend. However, there is never a perfect nation or perfect policies in a world of sinful leaders. As we face the challenges of a sin-cursed world we must be the light that shines in a dark place. We need to protect the family, economy, lives, and our ability to worship. Listen in as we find out how to respond in a nation so hardened to the gospel.
This week, Justin and Braden introduce you to a new podcast series about politics and religion. These are the topics that many avoid at family gatherings or social events. However, despite the negative stigma behind these topics they must be discussed. Scripture clearly shows us that God has created government and how it should function. As Christians, we must have the right response and action towards what happens in our country. With different candidates to vote for or different laws that may be passed, we must act in a way that honors the Lord. Listen to this introductory episode as the guys lay out the pillars of government seen from the beginning of Genesis. As always, remember that our King sits on His throne regardless of what is ahead of us.

In the conclusion of this subseries in Creation Vs. Evolution the guys, Braden and Gavin, discuss the final information on how DNA and proteins function. Gavin gives clear insight into the probability it would take for certain events to occur such as a protein being created. He explains the Law of Small Probability which states that specified events of small probability do not occur by chance. We see through the complexities and impossibilities of the universe happening by chance, that there is one thing left to conclude which is that there is a Creator who designed everything around us. The beauty is that the universe did not happen by chance and neither did you.

In a world overrun by evolution, the guys defend that there is no possibility that what we see today was by chance. It had to have a Creator. This is the idea that a system cannot perform basic functions without all of its components. If you take out one thing then it ceases to exist. They go into detail on how complex the human body is by looking at how a body will fight off a virus and kill anything attacking it. God has so greatly designed everything to work together to survive. This is further proof that humans had to come into existence at one moment in time. It would not be possible for these systems to evolve into one complex being. The Lord has so beautifully designed all of us and we should praise Him for His handiwork.
