Mathew Tamin

Where was God when I was getting abuse?  Why didn't God stop it? When you push the right button about their past, especially when they were abused or molested, they will break down. We don't talk about mental health enough in the church. You don't have to keep living this way. It's easier to heal from physical hurt than to heal from mental and emotional. God cares about your mental health. He really does.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Just as physical wounds require time and care to heal, so do the wounds of the heart and mind. The Bible assures us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Through prayer, seeking His guidance, and finding solace in His Word, we can begin the journey toward healing. By leaning on His unwavering love and grace, we find the strength to overcome even the most profound emotional scars, emerging as resilient and restored individuals, ready to share our testimonies of healing with others.
