Cole Baker-Bagwell/Eleanor Claire Johnson

This week, we're talking with Eleanor Claire Johnson about the existential topic of consciousness which the National Library of Medicine defines as "a neural capacity for objectivity that is especially pronounced in humans." Consciousness is on the radar of scientists, spiritual leaders, and researchers who are exploring its potential to exponentially transform our world.

Eleanor is a phenomenally inspiring  woman who has lived many extraordinary lives. As an artist, filmmaker, and activist for global peace she has dedicated her life to elevating consciousness, ending war, and creating peace through her individual and collective bodies of work.

She has a rich history of opening doors for herself and other women with unbridled determination. She had a private audience with His Holiness The Dalai Lama. and with J. Edgar Hoover to talk with him about joining the FBI. Eleanor has challenged the boundaries of gender, and dedicated her life to peace from developing the wisdom we can derive from going within.

During this episode, Eleanor shares her deep sageness  on what she calls "the great teacher",  "the birth of people",  and the great awakening in humanity that was predicted by mystics and is happening on our planet for the first time in human history.

Eleanor shares  her lived perspective on compassion, presence, and finding commonalities across cultures in elevating consciousness. And, she ignites inspiration as she talks about the source of deep hope she holds for humanity even in the midst of the challenges and breakdowns in global society that we are facing.

We explore:
The various realms of war
Mindfulness and personal reactivity
Developing a creative relationship to non-violence
The power of prayer, ritual, faith, and spirituality
Consciousness, growth, and human potential

At the end of the episode, Eleanor shares three pieces of wisdom to help every woman elevate their consciousness and step into the power they have to change the world.
