Married by Adam and Georgia Fletcher Celebrant

We know wedding planning can feel like there are two people in the car going to the same destination, but only one person in the driving seat. It’s time to unbuckle some truths around working as a team to wedding plan.

We discussed how Georgia and Adam navigated their own wedding plans and who did what. we then called upon an expert Celebrant, MC, and marriage education specialist, the beautiful Julie Muir to join us.

Julie is a celebrant, confetti creator and Prepare and Enrich facilitator local to the Hunter Valley and Newcastle. She has a wild amount of experience when it comes to couples cohesively planning weddings. She shares strategies that can help ensure you and your partner have fun together while planning one of the #bestdaysofyourlife.

Our biggest tips are to communicate, compromise and do as much of the planning and decision making together. Try and attend meetings together and before the ball gets rolling, we also highly recommend making a wedding email address so even if you don't get time to chat in person, everyone is across every slice of communication with anything and everything wedding related!
