Nov 05, 2023 Season 1 Episode 4
Lauren McLoughlin

In this week’s episode we’re talking about parent communication. If you’re nervous or stressed about contacting parents, this could be affecting your teaching and work life balance more than you realize!

In this episode, you’ll learn the 2 reasons why fears or stress around communicating with parents could be affecting your day-to-day as a teacher, the 4 areas it could be making an impact on, and how to fix it.

If you found this episode helpful, this is exactly the kinds of discussions we have in Intentional Teaching. Yes, there are lots of great strategies and systems, but I know one of the most impactful parts is identifying what invisible forces are holding you back and causing you stress (like fears around what a parent might think of you). Once you’ve identified those, you’ll be able to apply what you’ve learned so much faster!

Registration for Intentional Teaching is open, but only until November 6th. To learn more about the program and to see if it would be a good fit for you, click here to read the details or send me a DM on Instagram at iamlaurenmonique!
