Episode 36: Beginning Again a new life, Life lessons - the final song from Neil Peart

The Lyrics from last week now have music, and here is the song  "Begin Again. " Neil says goodbye after passing on the  lessons we need to heed as we live human lives, and  the wisdom he has for us is put into the final lyrics called "Life Lessons."


Life Lessons
 
All those left behind who see no point going on
Those who lose a love, a child or friend
They cannot see the point its just a con 
In their lives they hoped for a better end
We are taught that life is for the living
We learn there is so little of that to go around
So much anger death and killing
it’s really not even so profound

But…

To find its less about tragedy and fight
And more of how you deal with all the strife
Waiting an eternity to see that light
I was shoved and pushed through this life
My destination was decided there and here
Everything was in place for another great day
A new child I would emerge it was all so clear
He’s going to have some troubles in his life they say
Thats why I chose him, I will help him till the end
This time we will watch as others around him pass
His disease will be also hard but he will have a friend
And feel the love and hope from all around his class

So much has changed upon his death
Beyond the man and all his friends 
His life will not have been a waste of breath
Each tiny moment changed and some depend
He’s remembered for all the love he gave
The sacrifices made some didn’t understand
Stand testament to his love and who was saved
He’ll be back again soon, with a brand new Band
