In 2023 Maroon Community Media trained Edmonton residents in producing their own podcasts. This was part of the Untold Stories initiative supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and administered by Enfield Council which aims to hear unknown stories about Edmonton located in North London. MCM have created a community hub of audio stories from the people who live in this area

Maroon Community Media is a community interest company focused on developing digital media production skills for all. In the Untold Edmonton podcasts, we trained local residents in podcasting skills and supported them to produce podcast heritage stories about Edmonton. This project was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and supported by the London Borough of Enfield. We are now undertaking Podcast Clinics to help people develop their own podcasts and develop podcast for individuals who wish to use this form of media.
