Speaker 1:

Hello, I'm Toni. With Bougie Bayou Witches Podcast. I'm the host, well, of course, and I have with me some guests. I'm going to let them go ahead and introduce themselves. Hi, I'm Mai.

Speaker 2:

I'm Cousin, noopie.

Speaker 3:

Hey, it's Bossa Nova B Cue the alchemist.

Speaker 1:

All right. So today we're talking about why are people afraid to step into their power spiritually, and this is episode 15. So I'm going to step into their power spiritually, and this is episode 15, so I'm gonna go ahead and get started with you. Ma what does?

Speaker 4:

it mean to step into your spiritual power? What does it mean to step into your spiritual power?

Speaker 1:

yes purpose.

Speaker 4:

That's, that's what it is right. At the end of the day, when you step into your spiritual power, it's your purpose in this realm, in this dimension that we're in. I agree.

Speaker 1:

What does it mean to?

Speaker 2:

step into your spiritual power. Yes, that's part A Accepting yourself. Okay, what about you Accepting?

Speaker 5:

yourself.

Speaker 1:

Okay, what about you?

Speaker 3:

Basically what.

Speaker 6:

Maya said, just stepping into your purpose and really tapping into who you truly are and basically what're you know, tapping into your higher self and knowing who you you're, what you're destined to be, you know, and just understanding that you're chosen and you're destined for greatness anyway. So just stepping into that power, just knowing who you are and then becoming an alchemist of your life, you know the greatness of your life. So basically all coincides with purpose, because everything has to happen on purpose, because it's purpose.

Speaker 1:

I feel like, um, what it means by stepping into your spiritual power is communicating and talking to your ancestors, spirits and stuff, doing something out of the norm, something that you might not normally do, and that's just what I feel like it is stepping into your spiritual powers. But part B why do you think some people are hesitant?

Speaker 4:

They are scared of the unknown People. That okay. So if you're comfortable with your lifestyle, however you live, and you have something in you that has always kind of like something's odd We'll just use that word odd about me, and they know it and they're like well, what if something bad happens?

Speaker 5:

What if something?

Speaker 4:

what if it's scary? What if this? So their mindset automatically goes into a negative spiral and it keeps going down and down, and then they'll just never step until they're into their power. Just they're afraid fear what's that literary?

Speaker 1:

what about you, marquise?

Speaker 2:

kind of thinking back what ma said, like if you grew up maybe a certain way religious, wise and you feel like you are relating to certain things that's outside of that or outside of that comfort zone. Either you're gonna stay comfortable or you're gonna learn to enjoy being a little uncomfortable, to grow into your essence okay, how about you boss?

Speaker 3:

I feel that um people are afraid because they I mean, they're afraid of what people might think of them. You know, that's a big thing. They're like oh, okay. And then you know, because people they're like, oh, like she's a witch or a wizard or warlock whatever their case may be. You know they'll shy away from you and it's just basically like how people perceive them and, to be honest, you shouldn't care what people think about you, because you're you.

Speaker 1:

And not paying your bills and other things like that.

Speaker 6:

That's right, that's great, that's a good one. You know, being afraid, being judged, being, you know, people being jealous of you because of how you can read things differently, understands things differently on a plane to where they're like well, how do you know this? Oh, you want what you got. So, mainly, you know people be trying to take certain things from you. So it's just mainly like the judgment of other people not understanding certain things. You know and just when you learn how to understand it, it becomes more better. You know, because people become afraid of certain things that they don't know. But if you know it, understand it. That's why I say, when it comes to spirituality, you can't be afraid of it because you don't know it. But you would rather get into the Bible, but you don't know it.

Speaker 5:

But you're not afraid of it. But you're not afraid of it.

Speaker 6:

So come on, man, let's go and get into spirituality because everything the bible, and spiritual child it goes like this simple the thing about it before it was the word, it was what the spirit.

Speaker 1:

So people don't get. It makes sense. Yes, all right. So how does societal conditioning or cultural beliefs influence our perception of spiritual power?

Speaker 2:

oh man, that's a good one yeah that hit that hit.

Speaker 1:

How does societal conditioning or cultural beliefs influence our perception of spiritual power?

Speaker 4:

I honestly think it's much more on the again religion what they've been speaking on um they. If my mother is catholic and she definitely is a very hardcore catholic, but she's open actually now to me and she she even asked me for a Medusa book.

Speaker 5:

I was like in Spanish though.

Speaker 4:

Okay, mom, but yeah, definitely people thinking about you the way they think about you, you know like, oh, you're doing this and you're moving your hands, and you're doing this and that. Like, what are you doing? Are you crazy? Are you having an episode? I think that to me, I don't know it has an impact on like why people, why not my mind? I want to step into their power, just what people think about them okay, what about you?

Speaker 2:

colonism. Um, basically, because I mean again, it's just all falls back to religion, to colonism, like I mean when, let's just, for instance, when black folks, some of us that were brought over here, our ancestors that were brought over here, because not all black folks came from slavery, black folks was here in america, that's another day but, with that being said, it was like they were still using their spiritualism within the you know what I'm saying within the, within the religion aspects of it.

Speaker 2:

So I feel like we've lost that and I feel like now that some of us that are awakening to that it's kind of like want to be hush hush about it or kind of be on the low with it, and you got something that are really just fully confident and embodying it, and it's beautiful but I mean yeah, it definitely plays a part. It definitely plays a part of society okay, what about you?

Speaker 3:

basically what he was saying society. You know, because we are, you know we are programmed from out the womb. You know just to think a certain way and you know, look down upon people because they're different and they have different beliefs and you know it can make somebody kind of you know not want to step into their power because it's like dang, like getting all this ridicule and stuff like that.

Speaker 2:

you know, like, make them very protective?

Speaker 3:

yeah, for sure, you know and it's like you know that's not okay, like I've I've dealt with that, you know, with my own family. You know people looking down on me because, like, oh, why are you liking this and why are you doing that? You know like, oh, you know like, oh, I don't know what god do you pray to, and this, and that you know like, oh, you know like, oh, I don't know what god you pray to, and this, and that you know, and it's like I'm not doing that with you like you know I'm not doing that with you.

Speaker 3:

I'm not over here, like you know. Like don't do that with me, like that's not okay. You know so, and I could see how that would make somebody like okay, maybe just tone my tone myself down a little bit, and it's like no, you got to remember who the fuck you are you know, at the end of the day and really just live in that. You know who cares what anybody thinks anyway all right, what about you?

Speaker 6:

living in a realm of society to where we've been stripped from our power from the first and understanding that you know before the, you know christianity came into place. We have to understand what was there before that and we don't understand that. When it comes to that part, we get there and we want to follow this and we want to take instructions of this and understand that you're being programmed. But you have to ask yourself what I was doing or my ancestors were doing before this book was given to me.

Speaker 3:

That is so true.

Speaker 6:

So learn how to go back and to tap into your power from that time and just work on that. And I also learned from just you know. Going on this journey, it's like I always was a kid want to know what was that? You know before that and I didn't walk out of you know, when I was in the church I walked out many times in the middle of sermons, you know and I'm not, I'm not, I'm not bashing, I'm just speaking on my, my experience.

Speaker 6:

You know my experience, and it's like it was not feeding me, it was not putting me into yeah you know. So it's like I know it resonates with me and it tugs on me so hard, like this is your journey, so journey it, care less what people say you know, so journey it, care less what people say, so journey it man Walk it out, man, because your ancestors are going to come knocking. When they're knocking, you better answer.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, answer that, call that, call you know. And I feel like they again quote, unquote. They pay millions just to rock us to sleep Because if they knew that, we knew, knew that our our full potential. It's like it's over. It's over, you know, and that's why you know. Fluoride, all this stuff to just dumb us down and calcify that pineal gland, and it's just like and to keep us yeah, exactly, keep us separated definitely because I mean, I look at a room full of beautiful minorities.

Speaker 2:

I hate that damn word. It's just like, okay, everybody, I'm sitting around, we all got brown eyes and dark hair, so, um, and we got melanin to our skin. Beige, fluorescent beige. Uh, cinnamon chocolate, dark chocolate, honey.

Speaker 6:

I mean, yeah, you still melanated this is what I'm getting at you still a melanator, you still look, we still cousins yeah, yeah, for real, for real.

Speaker 2:

We locked in tight even how they just like, breaking down to where they like, try to separate us. What I'm getting with that is just like we really are stronger together and especially like I said, with getting on here, it's like it's refreshing. I know it is refreshing, I can just let my hair down what can I?

Speaker 6:

say a lot familiar man. Yeah, yes, you know what I'm saying, for real man and for real like real talk, real talk, man real talk.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. I would say do I feel like society conditions and has a lot to play into the influence of spiritual power? Yes, I do. I feel like a lot of religions and stuff do have a lot to do with it, because a lot of people are folks that jump on the bandwagon. They're followers and they lot of people are folks that jump on the bandwagon. They're followers and our leaders. So they like to jump on the bandwagon and do what they see majority of the people do, versus sitting back and deciding on what it is best for them to do as an individual, versus doing what they see majority of the people, like their family or loved ones or people they're in relationships with, do. So I do feel like society has a lot, because a lot of people they want to be accepted, they want to do what everybody else is doing versus doing what they feel that they should do For sure so yeah.

Speaker 6:

So this is a road less traveled. Yes, you know because a lot of people want to take this journey. But a lot of people want to. You know ridicule's going over here. I always been that kid, like I was different.

Speaker 1:

I won't do what everybody else do. I was going over here and I'm not the father behind you, I'm going over here.

Speaker 4:

And I was always a kid I played by myself.

Speaker 2:

you know that's right.

Speaker 6:

I had my toys and I'm going to break mine myself, so I've always been a loner. Yes, I just ask anybody when they come on this journey. Speak Cindy. It's me that explains what we have with that spiritual understanding, man like on an energy-wise level, platonic intellectual level.

Speaker 1:

That's real? Yes, definitely so. Can you share a personal experience about a time when you felt afraid or hesitant to embrace your spiritual abilities?

Speaker 4:

Oh, when I got possessed, okay, for sure. That's whenever I said you have to lose your mind to find yourself.

Speaker 4:

I did lose it and I was in a very bad place for about a year. I enclosed myself in my condo and I didn't want to leave and I think I already talked about this before but I couldn't look at myself in the mirror because the person that I saw in that mirror wasn't the person that I thought I was, and the person that pulled me out out in my dreams was my mother, and she kept saying Myra, that's not the real you, that's not the real, you, don't be afraid.

Speaker 4:

And she grabbed me and I opened my eyes and I just felt different and I looked in the mirror and I was touching my face like it's me.

Speaker 5:

It's me.

Speaker 4:

That was my experience.

Speaker 1:

Okay, what about you, marquise?

Speaker 2:

getting caught doing tarot readings, that on my job and they told me it wasn't just. I'm gonna just say it wasn't just so much like getting caught. It was a simple fact that, like one of the employees that I work with now there is, was just like you know, they got a uh, evil, demonic spirit it was. And it wasn't so much that you speaking on this shit, it's the way you speaking on it in a in an unhealthy negative way, like there's something just wrong with me, or you using it to like push people to stop fucking with me or stop talking to me. They still do and they feel my energy and they know what's up. So it's like it's disappointing, but yeah it is what it is Right.

Speaker 3:

What about you? What's your question? Again, I'm sorry, no, no problem.

Speaker 1:

Can you share a personal experience about a time when you felt afraid or hesitant to embrace your spiritual abilities?

Speaker 3:

Yes with my father. Yeah with my father, because you know he frowned upon it and stuff. And, like I said in the last question, I was like dang like, should I like dim myself, you know? But then I was like no fuck that you know like.

Speaker 6:

No, this is who I am, and yeah so that's about it yeah, I was kind of thinking about what people say because they're coming from a family of being a black sheep and people that you know. I have older brothers and sisters and they call me for advice, so it's kind of like you know, maya was saying you know that dying part. You know, when my dad died, I died when he left. It was detrimental, it was a piece of me that left. I I can't even explain, but when I, when I was going through the moment, it was like I lost myself, like, but through that journey, something else became reborn inside, to where it became so relentless, so invictus, to where I was broken, to where I couldn't be broken no more.

Speaker 6:

I was broken to the lowest of the lowest. I was broken to where the enduring of pain was the most pain I ever endured in my life when that hit. But now, no matter how much you try to hurt now, no matter how much you try to hurt me, no matter how much you try to hurt me to the core, I come back stronger.

Speaker 4:

Period Rise like a phoenix. Yeah, it was the same thing with my father. He just passed away three months ago. And now for me it's like now nothing and when I say nothing I mean it Like nothing can break me down anymore man because my father.

Speaker 4:

To me he was like my idol, my hero, my everything. I still have my mom and I love her, but the relationship and the connection that I had with my dad. He understood me, he knew who I was yeah accepted me for who I was and for him to be gone now. It's like for whoever tries to come out for me just know that I will come.

Speaker 6:

I'm not afraid to come back right, and that's the crazy part. Like my dad he was an old school bodybuilder and like my punishment was rep sheets and so like.

Speaker 1:

That's why, like the gym is a part of my life, to where like it's my, so he would discipline you and have you working out for punishment my dad's same time. So the thing about life to where, like it's my therapeutic, so he would discipline you and have you working out for punishment my dad's same time.

Speaker 6:

So the thing about it to where, like, it becomes a part of me, to where, like, if I don't go to the gym, I don't feel right.

Speaker 3:

That's how I feel, and so now it's like only thing.

Speaker 6:

I you know my dad used to call him Iron man because he used to lift a lot of weights, you know. So, like before he passed the last thing, and Iron man was always my favorite comic and I kissed him on his head, I was like man you're my superhero and that was the last time I seen him Last time. I seen him in. I just wanted him to come home. That was it. I just wanted him to come home. He never came home to me, so everybody wanted money, money, money.

Speaker 6:

I just wanted my dad. That was it. Just wanted him. But I just came back different. It's not the same, came back stronger and it's like even when I go to the gym, I can go pick up on shit I never picked up in my life and I just shock myself every single time. Right now, no lie, I don't even know how my squat is 750 pounds, I don't even know why, but it's just. I become stronger and stronger every time no matter physically and mentally.

Speaker 6:

I become something to where I feel like I'm not from here.

Speaker 1:

That part, I know that part, we know that we have human yeah.

Speaker 6:

So it's like when I even get mad, I try to stay away from people because I feel it just okay not afraid of them.

Speaker 1:

I'm afraid of the blood and I'm afraid of prison men I've seen that on the other ground, I'm afraid of myself and I'm scared of anybody so I'm going to just save you to let me get away from you.

Speaker 6:

let me just go over here on this side, let me sit down on the who side and calm down and do what I need to do Right. Right.

Speaker 5:

Get back.

Speaker 1:

I would say for me. I was so worried about what someone would say because I've been doing this since I was a teenager. So for the people I associated hung old classmates, friends, whatever they know me, they know what I did, you know because I had them say, oh, I ain't gonna do that to her. Okay, let me get on there and let me play. I started out with playing with eight balls and spirit boards and stuff like that and communicating with spirit that way, and so I was worried about how people would look at me and perceive me, because everybody had this negative.

Speaker 1:

I ain't gonna say everybody, but a lot of people had this negative perception Like if you play on the Ouija board, you're an evil person, you're playing with demons, you're this, you're that. Yeah, but I was just like well, my brother died and I'm trying to connect with him and.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying to connect with others, you know. So that was my comfort of communicating, because I lost my brother when I was 16. And that's how I was trying to communicate and connect with him was through that, as well as just asking everyday life questions and things going on in life and stuff like that.

Speaker 1:

So I feel like I've always been spiritual. I just tried to hide it because I was so worried about what others would think of me and say because I've already had the negative, you know say when I was doing it. So then I was like I don't want to put everybody else in my business, so let me just keep it to myself myself. But I finally got over that and realized you shouldn't worry about what others think.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and if it's meant for you to do, step out of it and do it because, at the end, of the day, you're holding back your blessings when you won't step out and acknowledge what it is that you should be doing, and so that's what was happening to me. I was holding back my blessings and I noticed, like my team told me step out, don't worry about what somebody else think we're trying to hide behind that cartoon picture that you got created for you, so I did, and I got more blessings because, I got to the point to where I didn't care what anybody thought or said about me it was like bunk you get, you forget you little finger and I stepped out, and now I'm blessed she gave gave me a chill with that.

Speaker 6:

I felt that. I felt that because it's like that's what I've been battling with People around just looking at you differently when I'm at right now, I don't give a fuck.

Speaker 3:

You just got to know who you are. I really don't.

Speaker 6:

I know it's probably not a word, but when you get that, don't give a fuckness, it don't get. When you get that, don't give a fuckness, you don't even.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it don't matter, don't matter, no more, you'll get used to it yeah okay, so are there common misconceptions or myths surrounding spiritual power that contribute to fear or hesitation?

Speaker 4:

yeah, I mean that we are evil people and that we are always out to get somebody like. I don't understand that. If, uh, if a friendship, a relationship, whatever it may be, and you decide to end it, people always think that we're out to get them. I'm like no dude, I've moved on. I flipped I'm not, unless you come for me where it's. I feel like I need to defend myself, then that's a different situation.

Speaker 1:

But um yeah, okay, what about you, murkies?

Speaker 2:

can I repeat the question again?

Speaker 1:

I know Okay. Are there common misconceptions or myths surrounding spiritual power that contribute to fear or hesitation?

Speaker 2:

I mean a misconception. People think that it's just like this, Just, oh my God, Rainbows and sunshines and gumdrops and shit. And it's not. It's not. It's not like the journey you like shit you're going through hell. Yeah, once you really decide to face that hell and stop running from it or stop, like you know, ignoring it, yeah, back then that shit up a little bit have you ever thought about that?

Speaker 1:

this is hell yeah, yeah, yeah yeah look at all the craziness that goes on yeah, that part, yeah when we, when we die no, no, it's the higher and lower state of your mind.

Speaker 6:

I was just about to say.

Speaker 3:

I have a different perspective on that. It's about your mental state and like where you are on your frequency, I feel, because you could create heaven on earth or you could create your own personal health.

Speaker 2:

That's all up to your mind. So I still think that your vibration because it's like they got on mad.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, if you want to be honest, heal yeah, that part heaven, yep up here, you know. So it's like man. It's so much that people don't understand that I'm coming to an understanding of uh, sorry to skip you, I know you're supposed to talk or whatever, but um it was just talking about. Um the mystics of you know of it, but they don't. You know, people don't see that it was in the book too as well. So how you can that part.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, don't add up that part, it don't add up it was in the book too as well.

Speaker 6:

So how you can that part it don't add up, that part it don't add up If you can't theoretically think on perception and perspective of how it's written and it's shown you. You'll lose your mind and get caught up on certain things to where you are blocking yourself out, like you're saying, from your blessings, or where we truly come from our really true essence, where we really came from. That part and we miss out because we rather believe a lie than what we come with first. People rather argue with the truth but believe the lie.

Speaker 2:

I never understood that and that part right there, yeah wearing a mask.

Speaker 5:

Okay, you'd rather wear a mask, okay.

Speaker 2:

Okay, what about you? That part right there? Yeah, wearing a mask. Okay, you'd rather wear a mask?

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay. What about you?

Speaker 3:

I feel you know, like what I was saying about how people like they perceive, like whenever people are like, oh, you're spiritual, you must be evil, or you know, and it's like I mean there are people that are spiritual. It's both sides, you know, you have your light and your dark, and there are some people that practice it to do, you know, witchcraft on people and this, and that you know, and I mean I like to stay far away from those people because I it's not in my heart to do that. But you know, uh, just like hex people and stuff like that, I don't, yeah, I don't get down like that, you know, that's just uh, you know I let the energy to do that yeah, I made a fun.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, all I want to do is protect myself and my family.

Speaker 3:

And you know, get my blessings. And you know, go about my, go about my business.

Speaker 4:

You know like yeah you know for real, but your purpose is something else.

Speaker 3:

Um well, I know my purpose, and my purpose is to help heal this world, and you know, step into the 5d, which I already am in you know.

Speaker 1:

But what if someone threatened your life and tried?

Speaker 3:

it's already happened, it's already happened and guess what, I'm still here and I didn't even have to do any of that. You know, I'm saying like I didn't have to do any of that really, and it's just I'm here and I feel like I'm even more blessed because I didn't have to do any of that that's kind of like how I feel. Like you know, I feel like I'm not from here.

Speaker 6:

I'm here to change the vibration on this planet.

Speaker 5:

I know I ain't from here. I'm from here, you know, so it's like you know.

Speaker 6:

I really don't have to step into doing nothing ill because of the heart that I have.

Speaker 3:

Exactly my spirit team got me, but when?

Speaker 6:

it comes to protection, you know protecting yourself.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure, you still have to protect yourself, for sure.

Speaker 4:

Like.

Speaker 6:

Maya said if I protect yourself, but I would like my say if I didn't send for you, don't come for me. Yeah, when?

Speaker 5:

I'm coming, you know, hey, man, look it's coming with me, it's coming with me, it's coming with me, I don't even gotta do nothing, it'll just happen.

Speaker 1:

You know like it'll just happen and it's like stay at the damn wow, sorry okay so how can individuals overcome fear and resistance to fully embrace their spiritual gifts and potential? How do you feel? I'm gonna skip that question okay, I'm gonna do my keys how can you?

Speaker 2:

individuals overcome fear and resistance to fully embrace their spiritual gifts and potential I mean first shit, if, when you into four walls within yourself, be real and get real with yourself right, you know what I'm saying. Like, well, journal, you know, look into like if, say, for instance, if your thing is like angel numbers at first, like you know you, well, I'll be hearing about this shit about angel numbers, I'll be seeing and I ain't gonna lie, I do be seeing this particular number here there at a time. Well, look into it when it's just the four walls within yourself, because what you got to lie to yourself with you can be real with yourself and just gradually get yourself to grow you know what I'm saying into yourself and then the the rest of it will kind of just lead the way because your yourself will be drawn to certain shit, just like with with uh q was saying like you know ancestors, something they're gonna be knocking. You're gonna keep coming back to it. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

Things are just gonna pull to you because, like I was a kid, I always thought I was gonna be was a kid. I always thought I was going to be Harry Potter. I always thought I was some type of wizard or playing with sticks. I always had a staff. That's cool.

Speaker 1:

I love that for you, harry Potter With candles.

Speaker 2:

Into the physical, you know.

Speaker 1:

Harry Potter with candles.

Speaker 5:

Who is Harry Potter? No, I'm just playing.

Speaker 1:

I never watched him, so I'm sorry he's a wait a minute, I'll tell you I never watched the movies or TV shows or whatever. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

I was always into the magic, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It was cute.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was cute.

Speaker 1:

That was cute. What about that was cute? What about you? What's the question again, I'm sorry how can individuals overcome fear and resistance to fully embrace their spiritual gifts and potential.

Speaker 3:

It's a mindset thing. At the end of the day, you know it's all about your mind, because I feel that, um, you know it starts. It starts right here, everything starts right here. So it's like, if you want better, and you know you, you know you got this gift and you know that there's something different about you. It's like man, like you're gonna try to do everything to like tap in, you know you gotta want. It's about how bad you want it. Like. Basically, she said you know when you get that pull tap in, you know you gotta want.

Speaker 6:

It's about how bad you want it like damn basically she said you know, when you get that pull tap in and I just made a podcast about the distractions that everybody's distracting itself with you seeing the numbers, you're seeing everything flowing, seeing everything flowing and patterns, you're seeing the energy change and everything and you wonder why certain things are this and this and this and that, but you're not really wanting to tap into it because you're scared of, like you know, and it's becoming weird to you. But the thing about it it's being a pool. At this time we're in, right now, we're all being pooled. The chosen ones, the selected, the collected are being pooled to walk into your destiny, to walk into what you're supposed to be doing, to understand where you know being the alchemy of your, you know your lineage, you're being pulled. So when you being pulled, go to it.

Speaker 6:

Don't sit there and trying to say, well, oh, it's this weird stuff and this, and that You're getting pulled for a reason. You're getting pulled on for a reason. You're getting tapped on for a reason you know. So you're taking off those lenses. Man, you just have to understand that we're constantly getting distracted. But you have to understand why you're getting distracted from what you're supposed to be doing and walking and tapping into your true essence.

Speaker 6:

You have to understand why.

Speaker 3:

Right. Many are called if you were chosen. That's just what it is. But the thing about it.

Speaker 6:

With the calling you have a chance to miss out on your calling. But when you're chosen, you can't run from it.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 6:

Until you answer, it's going to keep knocking until you answer. It's going to make you keep going crazy until you answer.

Speaker 1:

And when you answer right.

Speaker 6:

Man, I'm 2 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, waking up, oh my goodness.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so at 3 o'clock, then I'm going to get it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, the view is thin right there. That's so thin. It's crazy because, like I could just jump up.

Speaker 6:

It was like last time it was 1222. I'm like why I'm up and then I sit up there and I'll just be up. Then I can't go back to sleep at all. But then again when I go to work I'm not tired, yeah. I'm not tired at all, but I'm up. I'm like why?

Speaker 5:

I'm up, you know I that's very trying to talk to you, uh-huh.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, better get on and meditate right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6:

I've been pulled to that. That's real Trying to talk to you Don't waste it.

Speaker 2:

That's real. Trying to talk to you, that's real. That's real.

Speaker 6:

I need to take that advice. I've been pulled to that. I'm being pulled. Still listen, keep your eyes. You know, you know your ears open and understand what's you know is being said, or anything like that. And oh you know put on some frequencies and just you know, just go into my own little zone and just meditate and go from there. But most the time I meditate and I'm up, but then again I go right back into my sleep, but yeah theta, the theta state.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, is that what?

Speaker 2:

that is theta state, okay I'll get up off the couch and go to the bed yeah, yeah, honestly.

Speaker 3:

That's when you're supposed to meditate, right there, okay, because you're in that theta state of mind and then it's like everything is just so much more powerful. That's why, when your manifestations too, is she?

Speaker 4:

No, that's.

Speaker 3:

To a pause.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 6:

But that's also when you start talking to the subconscious.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's what I mean. That's what I mean. You go to sleep talk to the

Speaker 6:

subconscious yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like, show me, I'll practice with that first, with some affirmations. Yeah, I was about to say it's a good way to manifest right there.

Speaker 3:

It's like when you are just waking up or about to go to bed. Because I heard the praying meditating, praying, but I'm like, I'm going to have to sleep. Yeah, that's a lot of. You know it's very powerful, but you know you got to really practice that. You know what I mean. Not for real, but you know you got to really practice that, you know what I mean Not for real.

Speaker 2:

I'll at least try saying one positive affirmation. For sure, when I'm going from the living room to the bedroom, for sure.

Speaker 1:

Always All right. What role does self-confidence and self-worth play in our ability to step into our spiritual power?

Speaker 4:

It plays everything. If you are non-confident if you do not speak and think highly of yourself with uh words that just scream and power, like if you're just not confident. No, you have to be powerful, speak powerful, powerful, think powerful of yourself, like that you are. I am a high priestess and that nobody can take that from me.

Speaker 5:

That's so true, that's real. I agree.

Speaker 2:

What do you, marquise? That's real. I can say the same thing, just speaking highly over yourself, regardless of what anybody else might think of you or say about you. And I say that just as, not like, just like random folks, but people that really like are close to you, that could maybe possibly carry some energy weight. You know what I'm saying? Just like. No, you know, I hear you and I won't even. Sometimes I'll say I respect that, other times I won't. I'll just say I hear you and just move it on because like, yeah, no, that's not how I look. No, okay, though.

Speaker 3:

I feel definitely. You know you do have to be confident in who you are Like. I feel like I'm a goddess and that's I don't feel. I know.

Speaker 3:

You know and yes, exactly, and I also feel a lot of people. They aren't confident because once again, they have conditioned us to think like, oh, you gotta be humble. Like, oh, you can't be too much, you know. Oh, she thinks she's all that, oh, he thinks he's all that. And it's like no, you should think you're all that too. You know you should. Why don't you think you're not all that? Like, that's who we are. We're here to be our best version of ourselves. Like you know, think highly of yourself. Like that's just that. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'll let all that. You know. I try to be more of a humble, but I walk with a crown on my head. Period.

Speaker 6:

You know I try to be more of a humble, but I walk with a crown on my head yeah, period. You know what I'm saying I don't look down too much because I don't want it to slip.

Speaker 5:

Of course not. My crown hit the ground and my jewels start popping out.

Speaker 6:

I keep my head up high, you know, no matter where I go chest chin up, chest out, no, matter where I walk, but I noticed that you know when I'm walking in my power. Like so many people get intimidated.

Speaker 4:

So many people get intimidated.

Speaker 6:

no matter where I go, it's you know a lot of people get intimidated. I lost jobs behind it, everything. But I done gained people, you know, gained certain things from it. But like right now, it's like in my work, it's just like intimidation. It's people just see.

Speaker 2:

What we just talked about that jealousy.

Speaker 6:

And people, just certain people come to me. Like right now I don't even try to have people come to me, but I have like five people, that's just I have just for audience just listening.

Speaker 6:

Every time I hey Q, what's the word for the day, you know that's. They come down like what's up, you know, and then I help other people at the job understand about not letting people take your peace or your joy, your happiness, because the thing about it never gave it to you. So treat your peace and your energy like currency. So with that, and it's like man, man, before you came here, man, you know, I love that you're here and it's like a lot of people. Just, you know, I don't like attention, I don't like too much attention.

Speaker 6:

But I know through this podcasting thing you know, even doing my motivational speaking is going to draw it, but it's like you know, like I was just speaking about, you know, and I was in the office around some big people and the guy was like, hey, man, you a genius. Then everybody that was in the office looked towards my way and I'm trying to duck and turn.

Speaker 4:

Get out of here. He ain't talking to me, I'm talking to him.

Speaker 6:

But I'm just, it's a gift and a curse.

Speaker 3:

It is a gift and a curse.

Speaker 6:

It's a gift and a curse when it comes to it, because the thing about it it could also gets you into certain places and certain doors open up for you. Certain things happen for you too as well, so it's a balance you ain't losing.

Speaker 2:

That was protection.

Speaker 6:

Exactly. They say rejection is protection.

Speaker 2:

Yes, because that probably would have been like debilitating on your energy or something like that, or you know who knows what could have been the downfall or the worst of it.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but yeah, yeah, that's what's up, yeah.

Speaker 3:

And I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, I was just going to say as far as self-confidence, with people trying to tap into their spiritual powers, I feel like if you're not a confident person, it's going to be harder for you to step into your spiritual power because you're going to be worried and afraid of what others will think. And you got to learn how to step into that spiritual power and be confident and know that is what it is that you want to do, and not the fact that you're doing it because you feel like, oh well, my friend doing it, my sister doing it, my brother, let me try to do it.

Speaker 6:

No, do it, because that's what you want to do.

Speaker 1:

You got to be confident in yourself when you're doing it, because if you're not, it's not going to work out for you no, and also to piggyback on what he was saying about the whole like, because I used to be a very humble person.

Speaker 3:

I mean I knew what I, who I was and stuff, but I didn't want to like, be, like, oh, like I'm doing too much, you know. I didn't want to give myself away too much.

Speaker 3:

But then it's like, damn, I'm dimming my own light, that part, you know. I'm dimming my own light just to make everybody else around me feel comfortable, like I'm not doing that. No more, you know, and I I'm not. I will never look down on anybody. If anything, I'm gonna help you get up too, because it's like we all need to be. I mean, I feel we're all here to be our best versions of ourselves. So it's like that's what I do on you know, on my page and stuff like that. I help people, I motivate them like hey, you know what. You got this power too. All you need to do is tap in, tap in, you know, really, just use your mind and, you know, rewire your brain it's like about rewiring your brain.

Speaker 3:

So, yeah, definitely, and it's like you know, there are some people. You know, I I definitely feel there are some people that are just cocky and they're like oh, I'm this and that, and they do look down and that's not okay because it's like you, like you said, your jewels can't fall off, your crown can't slip, you know, like know who you are be up here.

Speaker 3:

Yes exactly, exactly, you know, because I haven't been up here and I haven't been down here, but the thing is is like know who you are and help others, like bring them up too. That's that's it, you know gatekeeping yeah, exactly no gatekeeping around here.

Speaker 4:

Yes, I want to say something on what she said is um like also be conscious and be aware of what your abilities are and don't try to be something that you're not like. If you could only do this and that is your gift and that is your ability right don't try to be something else, because that was not given to you that part doesn't come off as mean, but no, that's real focus on the abilities and the gifts that were given to you so you can master them right, for sure.

Speaker 5:

And then?

Speaker 4:

that's where your gift in your life will take off. Don't say, well, this person can do this and this and that. Well, how do I get to do it? Yeah, all right you were born with that, so you're probably never going to be able to do it just you know, be true to yourself focus on yourself and just keep working on the gifts that were given to you exactly right, because everybody has gifts, but what someone else's gifts might be might not be your gift stick to what you do best.

Speaker 1:

That you specialize in that you feel like you can manifest and do, versus trying to do everything you see someone else do because you feel like, oh well, dang, maybe I can get on their level, I can, you know, do what they do and manifest and get some money and do, versus trying to do everything you see someone else do, because you feel like, oh well, dang, maybe I can get on a level.

Speaker 1:

I can, you know, do what they do and get some money and do this and that, so and it could be the same thing, though.

Speaker 4:

Like what, if you matter, you not you create. Your abilities are so strong that you guys can do the same thing but in different ways right, it's not saying that this person can do something differently and, oh my god, it seems so amazing. But what if, what you're doing, it could do the same?

Speaker 3:

thing. You know what I'm saying, right? Yep?

Speaker 2:

yep yeah, that's real, that's definitely I love that because if all you do is candles, stick to your candle.

Speaker 3:

Yeah for real, for real, you know, do whatever works for you, you know, yes, uh-huh, yes, right, right, okay, so what?

Speaker 1:

advice would y'all give? Because you done basically gave your advice. What advice would you give to someone who is struggling to overcome the fear and doubts about embracing their spiritual gifts? I'm going to start with you, marquise.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I thought that was me that already gave the advice. No, keep it in there, baby. Oh, I'm like, yeah, all you do is candlestick to your candles. That was advice, I mean, because that's real shit though. Like if you own something like admiring and shit. You know what I'm saying? No, you know admiring, but at the same time, though, don't be sitting up there trying to. That's just like I knew, uh, a resident that sat up there and tried to play with lily. Okay, yeah, you don't know what you do, because what you're trying to bring into fruition you looking all dry the skin, I messed up. Chaos is surrounding you.

Speaker 1:

You must not be doing something right or offering speaking, talking she must not like something you're doing or she like oh, you thought I'm going to get your ass what advice would you give to someone who is struggling to overcome fear and doubts about embracing their spiritual hymn? The advice that I would give to somebody Um um, because you might have been on a short yellow bus, but not just playing with you. What advice would you give to someone who is struggling to overcome fear and doubts about embracing their spiritual gifts?

Speaker 6:

I'm messing with you no, because you know, when she busted, I was just laughing. I was just still laughing at him man I'm joking. I'm joking over here I'm just laughing, man oh man, just if you feel that, pull man go for it, don't listen to what nobody else tell you.

Speaker 6:

Don't let nobody steer you in a way to where it does not feel right with you at all and it does not resonate with you at all within. So if it's calling you, pulling on you, go within and tap into it and just go for it.

Speaker 6:

Man, Don't worry about what nobody else say Don't worry about listening to what nobody else saying this is wrong, this and that or whatever like that. About listening to when nobody was, you know, saying this is wrong, this and that or whatever like that. Don't listen to nobody. Walk in and tap into what you, what you're called for, what you're destined to do, because you're always going to regret going back into your true essence of where it really came from. If you're honest, theoretically, so, yeah, I totally agree.

Speaker 1:

Um, I would just say if it's what you want to do, do it. Don't let anyone stop you or detour you from what it is in life that you want to do. Tap into them spiritual powers and them gifts. Don't be afraid, don't let mommy and daddy and auntie and grandma and grandpa stop you. Do it, because if that's what you want to do, stop being curious. We all be curious a little time for time. Jump in there, do your research, read Study.

Speaker 4:

Talk to some elders, other people Read and study People never get to do that Read and study, I think that you can get all your information.

Speaker 1:

From asking us questions or asking us Right.

Speaker 4:

Do your own research.

Speaker 5:

Know.

Speaker 4:

Because I can see things one way.

Speaker 1:

And Tony can see it a different way, but we read the same book, right meaning that our comprehension level could be totally different. She can comprehend on this level. I can comprehend on this level don't mean we both slow, it's just our comprehension level is different so yes, if your message was different than my message perspective yep so true, don't mean I wrote that short yellow bus, you and your, that short yellow bus give me your damn short yellow bus so yes, so, um, are there coming misconception?

Speaker 1:

hmm, I'm trying to think should I ask this question or should I move on to the next one, because this is similar to one of the other questions? I asked, hmm of thing, should I ask this question? Should I move on to the next one because this is similar to one of the other questions? I asked um I don't think we're gonna move on to the next. Okay, so can you share any resources or tools that have personally helped you or others on their journey to stepping stepping into their spiritual power?

Speaker 4:

I personally I'm not a gatekeeper I like to show, if you're interested in something how to do a cleanse I'll show you. If you're interested in something, I'll go ahead and give you the knowledge or I'll give you the website, or I'll give you the book, or whomever or somebody. Hey, I know somebody that knows more about this than I do. This is their number, so I like to just help people.

Speaker 1:

From that perspective, okay, what about you, marquise?

Speaker 2:

I'm over here kind of tickled a little bit because, uh, yeah, I give all them. Look, when I get your candles, them crystals that come with them it was so many of them I just start giving them out, gave some to the weed men, gave some to my mama, gave some to you know. But in return, you know they were asking, they were curious about, or like I come, or find out, like, oh, you know, I'm into this, or curious about this.

Speaker 1:

So it'd be like, oh, I'm into this, I'm curious about this. So it'd be like, oh god, that's what's up. That's cool. Yeah, that's what's up. They gave them some tools. That was some crystals so yeah.

Speaker 3:

I definitely feel books like books have helped me with my like, you know, tapping and stuff like, and then also meditation. That's a big tool for me. That helps, that helps me to this day. Really just tap in and step into my power, because I feel like when you meditate you connect with the unseen forces and that really does something to you. It does something to me, so yeah, the meditation I haven't said it.

Speaker 4:

The mudras, mudras too, the thing that you've been mentioning a lot is the way that you eat.

Speaker 3:

Whenever you are opening your third eye people are not aware.

Speaker 4:

Do not eat meat, don't eat dairy. Don't eat anything that comes from an animal. That will, like she said, calcify your pineal gland. So therefore, you know just meditate and eat better, eat less, yes, and I feel like movement too.

Speaker 1:

What did I love to eat, though? Yes, movement too, I love food, me too.

Speaker 3:

I love food too, because you know I got to eat less.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, you know I've been doing it for a long time.

Speaker 1:

I don't like fasting, I like to eat.

Speaker 2:

Me too, girl. Look, I'm in bed and I'm hungry right now.

Speaker 6:

I know Me too, and see, that's the good part, that's the good. I got so used to fasting like I could go long, long periods of time without eating.

Speaker 1:

I'd be looking like a skeleton. Yeah right, I'd be looking like this.

Speaker 6:

It's just being empty and just you know.

Speaker 1:

You just got to eat the right foods, that part.

Speaker 5:

But when you're talking about metabolism obviously is slow, mine's fast, so I can't do that because I'll be over here looking like a skeleton.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, definitely movement you're talking about you.

Speaker 6:

Just share, share with the things that you're gaining from you know self and to help others too as well. Like you, know why you're going on your journey as you're learning.

Speaker 6:

Give a little bit, little bit of what you're learning to help the other person out. Like I just got this guy. He's at my job, he's asking certain things and the things that I do know of that help me, I share with him. He's on his journey of certain things and I say, well, go get certain books. I ain't getting to the ancestry part yet because he's still a baby.

Speaker 4:

I don. I want him to, you know, scare him off, but I want to, you know, draw him more in.

Speaker 6:

So tell him get some books, you know, and start meditating, start going out to the sun, start grounding yourself, start eating different. You know, I'm saying eat a dairy alone. Start, you know. Start with those things you know. Stay hydrated, stay hydrated. You know I'm saying that, those type of things you know and, um, just have a have no, I eat dairy, but not that much dairy.

Speaker 2:

Have open mind, not that much we like toast intolerance. Have open, have open. Yeah, have open mind. I do like some ice cream.

Speaker 1:

I do. I don't even like ice cream, no more and nature definitely nature is a big thing, yep, yep always yeah, ground with yourself hug a tree

Speaker 3:

yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, I love trees Always. Yeah, and it sounds stupid, but go hug a tree, yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, I love trees. They carry so much wisdom.

Speaker 4:

For them to take away your pain or your anxiousness or worry, Because you know we're connected to everything.

Speaker 3:

Yes, we're connected to everything here, that's on this realm on this planet.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's on Gaia.

Speaker 3:

Yes, mother Gaia.

Speaker 2:

Mother. Gaia realm on this planet, you know. Yeah, that's on gaia. Yes, I'll be seeing the gaia previews on youtube oh yeah, about the gaia channel. And here y'all are actually talking about that, but I know y'all ain't talking about that like what it's a real thing. I thought that was just something that they was just calling their little.

Speaker 3:

You know what I'm talking about though.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

That is so cool yeah.

Speaker 6:

That dude here. Funny man, he's funny. I'm just like everything's connected.

Speaker 2:

I forgot he was about to question you. I'm over here in my head like God dog.

Speaker 6:

You said she got all ashy and dry.

Speaker 2:

Skin, all messed up Shit and all surrounded yeah. You ain't dealing with who. Really, you don't know what you're doing, messing with that stuff. Oh man no.

Speaker 6:

Got lost on a train of thought, because I ain't mad. Sometimes I'm goofy man. It's all about having a sense of humor, you got to have laughter in your life.

Speaker 1:

You can't be sad mad and depressed. Exactly, definitely. Well, y'all, we enjoyed this topic, and is there anything that y'all would like to leave with the viewers? I'm going to start on your end, quinty.

Speaker 6:

Man, go for it. Care what anybody will say, don't worry about what other people say. You know you got that call. Like I was speaking earlier, go for it, man. You know it's something out there for you. Tap into it, go for it, don't doubt yourself. Somebody's stomach talking Go for it. Go for it. Go for it, don't, don't doubt yourself. You know you're worth it. You're worth the tribe, you're worth the going into and finding out more about yourself. You know, you're worth it all right, what do you have?

Speaker 3:

five years yeah, you only have one life to live you know, and uh, you are in your mind most of the time. Make it a happy place to be that's it.

Speaker 1:

How about you, marquis?

Speaker 4:

now his stomach is talking for okay, that part, that part if you were brought into this realm, um, and you are seeing if you always thought yourself as the black sheep of the family, because, if I'm not mistaken, we all have felt like that. We are the black sheep of the family, because we're different you can relate to that, then most likely you are a chosen one. That means you have a purpose here you'll put it to the side, embrace it.

Speaker 4:

If you are afraid, talk to. If you believe in god, talk to god about it, talk to your friends about it, but definitely, universe, do it. The universe, yeah, um, whomever you, it is that you believe in talk to them and definitely just take that chance, because no matter how you try to live your life, you're still going to end up doing what you're supposed to do.

Speaker 5:

It might be the easy way, or it might be the very hard way, because it's destiny, it's real.

Speaker 3:

It's destiny. It might not be the hard way, but it's fine.

Speaker 1:

Well, I want to say it's something in life that you want to do. Tap into spiritual powers, don't be afraid. Don't be scared. I have so many people come to me and say I want to tap in, but I'm scared what you scared of? If this is what you want to do, quit being hesitant do it but you got to want to do it, because I don't ever want to force nobody to do anything that they don't want to do.

Speaker 6:

You got to make sure.

Speaker 1:

That's what you want to do yes, baby steps yes the research and the little candles and then you'll get to the point where you don't even need candles. You can just manifest and speak and talk about what you want to do most definitely most definitely and I feel like you know a lot of people.

Speaker 3:

uh, you know, because a spirituality, it's like a fad. Now I see it, I see it, you know.

Speaker 6:

I'm like look, you know, like they're not really serious, exactly.

Speaker 3:

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

It is a beautiful thing and it is a good thing to get into, but I do feel that when you are in that like you kind of it's not like by choice. You know it's like it chooses you. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, it chooses you, you know. It's not like, oh, I want to do this, and you know, let me just put on some crystals and I'm cool.

Speaker 6:

You know like no, it's a whole lifestyle. You know like, so it's not on you.

Speaker 3:

Exactly that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

It chose you like it was in your parents. Belly, yeah, yeah, exactly, it's not on you. Yeah, there you go looking at both of y'all's things.

Speaker 2:
