Dr. Makda Majette is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a strong commitment to public health. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her training was completed at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency program where she graduated with a teaching award. She has a passion for mentorship and has achieved awards recognizing her contributions including the prestigious Emory University 40 under 40 Award and Top 20 under 40 for Brickell Magazine. She enjoys speaking to high-achieving professionals who may fall into the success trap and find themselves joyless and burnt out. She is a professional speaker with expertise in self-care, wellness, and appreciating joy in life.
