Speaker 1:

Hi there and welcome to T3 training together on Tuesdays. My name is Trina and I'm joined by my beautiful co-hosts, sarge and Tony. And Hello, hello, girlies, girlies, as always, we're used to learn from each other Shempre girlies learning from each other, from each other's tails, share tips and discover new tools. So in this episode okay, we have a very special episode today. When did our special episode become special? It's always special because we're special, because we're special Special.

Speaker 1:

And CNSA, madas Hypen, today we're going to talk today about Leap year, because it's Leap year now, 2024, correct? So what's this Leap year? What do you know about this Leap year? Why is it Leap year? I know my daughter said you have to be careful with Leap year because it's the year of the, the lion. That's what I'm talking about. I know that it's just a Provincial, maybe we have that, but I really like it. I like it. Be careful with Leap year. Take care of your partner Because it might be dangerous Because it's Leap year. Oh, I see, I'm also a Provincial. Especially, it's like it's just a bullock. It's like I don't have a clue. In our Provincial, because Sarge started it, they said that when it's Leap year People were born.

Speaker 1:

They were born on Leap year. They were destined for greatness. That's what they said. That's what they said In our program. That's what they said. Good fortune abounds them. They have very unique abilities, and that's it. And they have, you know, the born on Feb 29 I'm actually finding it, I'm not here. So those born, do we consider them In a way, lucky Because they count their birthdays? They're still their birthdays On the 28th, 28th or March 1, so they can choose. They're so flexible. Wow, when they're born, they're flexible. Of course I thought they're not. I thought they're adaptable. Right, they're adaptable. I was thinking about how long they will be able to remember because they are all four year olds. That's what I was thinking. I was still self-limiting, that's what I thought. I hope all of them. I hope all of them.

Speaker 1:

Why is there a Lepeer 3? Because, according to my parents, the Lepeer is the reason why it's called Lepeer, because the Sun and the Earth, they are together, the Sun and the Earth. The Earth moves around the Sun. One year is 365 days, but in actuality, in mathematical or astronomical time or measurements, it's actually 365 and one fourth the actual rotation or revolution around the Sun. Revolution. Because it's hard to do one fourth day. They are doing one fourth and they are doing 366 days Every four years. That's one thing I learned about it. It's not really celebrated every four years. Every four years within a century, but not every century is a Lepeer celebrated, because in the 1900s, 1800s, 1700s it wasn't visible by far. It wasn't celebrated by Lepeer because it's offset. It's not just a Lepeer every four years, it's a Lepeer every 400 years. That's great.

Speaker 1:

Scientists say that. There are rules around that. I will not go to that. I will not attempt to discuss further. That's all I have to do.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, more than that, more than the background of what we know about whether it's a Lepeer or a Lepeer, I have one more thing to say. In the Lepeer Dau, it gives flexibility to women to propose to men. I will ask you. You will see that in other researches there are historical roots in this country, in Ireland, saint Patrick allowed women to propose to men every four years. That's where it all started. Why not? You need to think about it. When you are in a relationship, you need to propose to men. You need to propose to men. Yes, there are many other things to say. Let's go there. Thank you for sharing that. That's a great tidbit.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, more than all these facts, I would like us to discuss more what the significance of Lepeer is for us. More than the scientific basis or what have you. I would like to ask you girls, what is the personal significance of a Lepeer for you? Do you have a look back at your life that actually fell on a Lepeer? Yes, I think so. I need to dig. You need to have a calendar. I have a very easy answer I don't use the monitor. That's great. I don't use the monitor. What was the last Lepeer? I don't know.

Speaker 1:

If I were to ask you, I realized that there are still significant moments of leap year. For instance, specifically not just going back In 1998, I graduated high school. It fell on the leap year In 1998, I graduated high school. In 1998, I graduated grade school. In 1992, I graduated high school. In 1996, I graduated college. So that's how it was.

Speaker 1:

Then, in 2004, I met you guys. Oh my God, I want to be there. I said to you guys, oh my God. I said to you guys that's good. In 2004, I entered our beloved company. That's when I entered SAIGS 2014. In 2004, I entered 2012. In 2012, we established something. We established Greenbox.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I think that's what it is. You have to think of it. Thank you so much for doing this for us. It's okay to walk down I didn't do this, but it's interesting to see what this leap year does, is it helps us take stock and look back, because I can't think of it. Because of this, I think of the leap year.

Speaker 1:

Whenever there's a leap year, there's the Olympics. That's what it is. When you were saying 1998, I was thinking of Barcelona, 2008, china, you know what I was talking about. And, of course, last leap year we had a pandemic. That's what I remember. But other than that, I don't have significant things that happened in the years you said. Of course, the most significant is in the three of us. Nice, actually, that's what brings up the Olympics.

Speaker 1:

I know that it's a leap year. Or I know that it's a leap year because of the Olympics. You know that because you're a marker in a way. I guess it's universal. It's a universal event. Everybody experiences that as well. There's a personal significance in that. Leap years are special in that way, because it helps us. There are special events In this podcast.

Speaker 1:

Maybe you have your own significant moments during Leap years as well. It's a beautiful look back. It's a beautiful interval of looking back at your life, given the significance of leap year. It's a leap year. It's a leap of faith, leap of progress. Whatever you do, you can also go to the gym if you're 25.

Speaker 1:

From all of us, what advice can we give our audience? How can they optimize or maximize this leap year for their lives to improve themselves, not just personally, but professionally? I'll start. I remember that when I was in class, my father would always say I'm done for. I don't know if I can say that in this answer. I'll use this as a first, because I might be the first to see a sergeant in the class. Yes, you're right. I think I caught something from what you said, tina.

Speaker 1:

The way I look at it is that it's really more about me celebrating that day or spending that day. That's my thoughts Every after 4 years and Feb 29 comes around. What to do best on that day? What I'm thinking is that it's something that, to me, I want to spend that day, just like what you said looking back and it's a milestone mark, or all Now. What have you accomplished before Previously? Where were you? Where were you back then? Are you now? What's present now which is not there in the last 4 years, things like that. It's a good way to journal in your achievements. How have you grown as a person, as a human being for another person? I want to spend that day just really doing meaningful work.

Speaker 1:

The reason why the Feb 29 is there is that it has a purpose. That is to compensate for the 1 fourth days of the scientific thing. I can't explain it because I'm still in the habit of doing it, but the thing there is. I also want to do it in the same manner. I want it to be purposeful. I want to spend that day meaningful. In what way I want to spend that day? To be more loving and more caring, be more kind and compassionate to others.

Speaker 1:

Spend that day filling up that empty cup in me. Of course, if it's 4 years, you have a lot of support from others. You have a lot of great amounts of love and care and forgiveness and mercy to other people. It's also time to give it back to the self. It's filling up that cup that may have Ronneth empty, as they say. So you can have another 4 years going for you. It's just a day, but time is a resource which cannot be recreated.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to just have to go for that day for myself. Nice, I'm going to focus on a day because it's a sleepy year For me. I'd focus on a day. Let's say I want to try out something new or something that I don't want to do, but it's good for you, or it would help you flourish in your profession, to learn and specialize in something new. We are trainers and we never stop learning. For example, I get a English certification or coaching certification. After one year. You have something that you have to talk about. You have to speak, that you are able to specialize in something. Or, if not specialize in something, learn something new, maybe a new language, read a new series of books. I think it's a good time to do that.

Speaker 1:

Treat the leap year as a year of innovation in a way. Change yourself in a small way, because you don't need to change a lot. Treat it as a new year. I love that. Sarge, it's a step closer to self-actualization. This year should be something that you do for yourself. You can continuously improve so you can be more to others.

Speaker 1:

I will add to what I said earlier. Sarge, you are improving yourself. My point is that it's really about feeding yourself. I always see this on Facebook. I hope you don't hear my asses. They are aggressive. They say live your life, eat that cake, take that trip, buy that mac air. That's it. Buy that soups, but for me, buy that mac air. We support you. It's a waste of time this year. Do what you want to do for yourself. Very significant. I like what you guys shared in terms of self-care, self-improvement, self-actualization.

Speaker 1:

I agree with both of you this really is a year to start anew, to make that leap of faith, those things that you look back on because, again, tying it back to the scientific explanation, in the past three years we haven't been able to count one-fourth day. So there's loss, there's lack, there's loss. Then this, it's back to us. I think of it as a return opportunity for us that's gone. So it's up to us to capture that, to be able to optimize that to our advantage. Definitely Because it's a time to make a leap of faith. In my head, it's a leap of progress. We want to make progress every single time. But again, what are your plans in five or ten years? Like what?

Speaker 1:

I think maybe it's good to think, instead of five or ten years, like in leaps, what is your four-year plan. At least it's more ecclesiastical, still manageable. I think it's a good chunk of time where you can really make progress, like what you guys said learn something new. And it's a good amount of time where you can actually travel from being a novice to some level of expertise as well. It's a good chunk of time, as long as you're consistent with it. So I think this whole leap year really brings a lot of promise and potential and I'm excited about Feb 29. It's actually Thursday. Of course, it only comes in like Halle's Comet. It comes only in 70 years or something, 70 something years exactly. So I think let us not lose touch with that, the significance of that day, because for me it's an opportunity that really just comes literally every four years.

Speaker 1:

So any other closing thoughts before we wrap things up? Yeah, I guess, because it's a leap year. So take that leap. So you don't have to wait for a long time, because as humans I think, or at least the people in my circle there they have a tendency I'll do that when I'm ready, but experience tells me that I'm never ready for anything. I wasn't ready to get married, I wasn't ready to have kids, but you just go with it and you taught me now right. So high school is one child and whatever the situation will never be perfect, so you just jump right on it, jump right to it and then you make things work. So I think you can do that. And another thought is because I thought one of the companies I worked with.

Speaker 1:

The president said you have to invest in yourself. So it's like you're investing in other things other people, relationships, etc. But seldom do we invest in ourselves. And when we say invest in ourselves, it comes in the form of material things like, for example, shoes or possessions. But on the other side of that, investing in yourself also means investing in your learning, and especially now and we have free everything on this. So all you need to do is just take advantage of that and you grow yourself as well. Yeah, I have something to add to that, because it's like the thoughts now.

Speaker 1:

We talked about self-improvement, continuous improvement of the self, taking risks, making use of the now to create better versions of the self and make profound impact on the rest. This is what we are going to talk about in our quote. I'm going to show my dad because I'm like that, even though he's wearing a mask, he's still like that. This came from Kariano Coates Life. He said in the end we only regret the chances we did not take, the relationships we were afraid to have and the decisions we waited too long to make. So let's use this year for self-betterment Correct, correct. I agree he's inspiring. I'm super pumped up for this year, even more because of the things that you guys mentioned.

Speaker 1:
