Craig (00:00.954)
Welcome to the official Munzee Podcast.

Rob (00:03.35)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.

Craig (00:07.392)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell, I'm an avid Munzee player and I'm here to explore the game further.

Rob (00:12.672)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.

Craig (00:20.102)
So sit back, relax as today's episode is gonna be huge. We had a big, big weekend. Like I'm talking huge weekend and then some more stuff coming up this week and maybe into the future, Rob. I don't know, maybe Rob. I'm hoping that you're gonna spill some more beans like you did last week. Rob, what a big week that was last week.

Rob (00:24.942)
so big.

Rob (00:41.556)
Wow. I mean, after, after we finished, you know, it was just like sat back and, and you were laughing because you just basically said, yeah, I just sat there quietly and let you keep on talking. It was like, Hmm. Yeah, you kind of did. He just opened the door and then you just stood there and I just kept on rattling on. So yeah, I will say I probably said more than more than I had prepared to say, but, but that's all

Craig (00:46.811)
Mm -mm.

Craig (00:52.294)
Yeah.

Craig (01:05.626)
Mm -hmm.

I thought that too Rob, obviously listening to it again when it actually came out on Friday, I thought the same thing. thought, Craig, you did really just let him go. Cause normally I either laugh or I nod or I say, aha, or I'm listening to you, but literally I was silent. I was taking in everything you had to say. you say, thank you, mate. Thank you. And now I know because

Rob (01:28.226)
Yeah, you did well. now you know how to keep me rolling.

Craig (01:33.412)
Because I'm happy and proud to say that I have been involved. You've involved me in regards to the testing phase of this new rollout. And, mate, all I'll say, I can't say anything about that. All I'll say is that is revolutionary when it comes to gardens in terms of not just creating them, but deploying in them as well. can see Rob, I can see gardens being created. I can see gardens being filled like within weeks as opposed to months or years at the moment.

Rob, can even see gardens that have previously have been out there for years and years and years. They're going to get filled pretty quick too. So yes, that's pretty cool.

Rob (02:10.46)
yeah. Gardens that used to be filled that magically have one or two spots, know, that, man, something got archived or whatever. Well, guess what? They're it's

Craig (02:18.085)
Mm -hmm.

Yeah, they're gonna be bam back in again. I love it. I love it. Well done, mate. And well done to Sam and Sam is working so hard and tirelessly on this. So well done to you, mate. I have to give him kudos at the moment because I'm gonna kick him in the backside throughout the show. So you'll hear about that very soon. What have you been up to? What have you been up to, Rob?

Rob (02:39.826)
Well, all right. man, I've had two major things going on. It's the clan requirements, know, putting that stuff out there and, and then all this dreaming about garden building and, dreaming about, you know, when that's what I really, yeah.

Craig (02:45.435)
Mm

yes. Yep.

Craig (02:53.061)
Mm -hmm.

Craig (02:56.588)
I know. Do we have a date yet? Rob, I'm to put you on the spot right here. Do we have a date or time as yet? I mean, we record this prior to it going live. This is going to go live on Friday, August the second. So it will go live before this comes out. After this comes out, do we have a

Rob (03:12.718)
If it does, then wow, I didn't realize that I could apply that much pressure to people. Me looking into the future. No, it won't be out by Friday. But I'm really, really, really hopeful that it is coming very soon on the heels of that. We're not talking like days, but but we're also not talking a thousand hours. So I

Craig (03:35.409)
Mm -hmm.

very clever.

Rob (03:40.639)
Right, exactly. I've got my I've got my I've got my August, you know, feels on about this thing. So let's

Craig (03:45.37)
Mm

Yes, yes. And people, you want to know more, you want to actually, Rob, if they want to visualize this, guess what? Go to the water cooler. Have a look at my post at the beginning of this week when I've been testing it out. had my cup of coffee, my cup of Z with my cup of coffee, and I was doing some testing itself and you can kind of see in the background a bit of what it's going to look like on a webpage itself as well. And I did get caught out, not caught out, but told.

My actual mug itself is I'm from New Jersey, so it's the garden state and I was looking at gardens. So what? Look at that. There's some observant people out there, mate. Absolutely observant people. Anyway, that's it for us. Let's get on because we've got big, big things to talk about this week itself as well. So firstly, the events and the weekend that was in USA, we had two in Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri, Arizona, California, Rhode Island. Yes, it exists. And Iowa, not Iowa, is it Iowa?

Rob (04:22.698)
I mean... what?

Rob (04:45.378)
Yeah.

Craig (04:45.916)
Yeah, I were as well. by the way, the one in Ohio, the one that I was meant to be at, it it went mega with 52 attendees. And of course, the king, W. Helen posted a great video showing all the fun they had at that event. I actually had two events one day after the other there as well. So that's pretty cool. And that is Munzee events on YouTube. If you don't follow Munzee events on YouTube, I don't know why he does videos so quickly,

Like this happened on the weekend and it posted on Monday. Like, wow. More than a king for Munzee, but anyway. What else Rob, where else do we have

Rob (05:20.27)
pretty impressive. Well, around the world, we had three in Australia, that was New South Wales, ACT and Queensland. Then we also had two in Germany. And on Tuesday, one in Kent, it's looking like 19 people there. So we know,

Craig (05:41.276)
That's pretty good for a Tuesday as well. well done to Kenton UK. Now we're talking some leaderboards. Are you ready for this Friday? I think was the biggest day of the weekend Friday in first place. We had a Dragon West, a 2 .3 million points. Daniel for one one

with 2 .17 million points. sounded really bad. 2 .17 million points. Then we had Munzee Prof in third, not second, with 2 .1 million points. And Rob, we had 13 other millionaires. had Eagle Dad and Xenia with two. Plenty's Mvete with two million. Flipper Family 1 .6. Whelan, W. Helen with 1 .6. Owo Burrows with 1 .4. Iris, 1956. I wonder if that's the year they were born.

Rob (06:04.94)
Ha ha ha.

Craig (06:31.388)
1 .3 million raven on the road 1 .2 char more 1 .1 ivy warrior with 1 .1 and ohio lad with one of course ohio lad's gonna be there like that's what i wonder where he's from but anyway

Rob (06:43.822)
Yeah, wonder where all of those players were this weekend.

Craig (06:49.244)
Exactly great points and they were good points were spread out by a lot of people. So there's not, I mean, 2 .3 million is high, but there was 13, 14, 16 millionaires itself on the Friday, which is awesome to see. Saturday

Rob (07:02.35)
Saturday we had Coal Cracker 7 with 1 .8 million, Linask 1 .3 million, and Eco Rangers with 956

Craig (07:12.572)
And on Sunday, one of my favorite names to say, Jaroslav Kas with 738 ,000 points, Zelvic with 710 ,000 and KWD with 571 ,000 points. So great points throughout the weekend. And of course, triple points were had by mailbox owners, double points for everyone else. So I think that had something, something to do with it, Rob.

Rob (07:36.974)
think so too. Big, weekend.

Craig (07:40.164)
this event's coming up this weekend. There's only one event in Ohio and Rob, was supposed to be there. I was about to host this event with the BuckeyeCasher111, but he's still gonna take over the reigns and still host it anyway. that's one event in Ohio, anywhere near Ohio. Or if you're going home south from the big mega event, then pop in and say good day. So there you go. Around the world,

Rob (08:02.018)
Yeah. Around the world. We've got one in Canada and Newfoundland. the, know I saying that word is always like, huh? Sweden, Lithuania, Finland, and, we've got a lot, a lot, a lot of events that are coming up the following weekend. So, you know, just wait next week. It's going to be lots of things because we've got triple points on everything. and.

Craig (08:23.505)
Mm

Craig (08:29.19)
Mm

Rob (08:31.744)
It sounds like you actually might have something going

Craig (08:31.974)
Yeah, yeah, yes, I'm co -hosting another event in New Jersey, because I don't have a car, but I can use my wife's car for local things. So I'm co -hosting one in New Jersey, it's near Philly, so Western New Jersey, so out there. Again, yeah, it's gonna be, if you haven't gotten your event in yet, by the way, for that weekend, and you wanna host an event, you can't get to an event, you wanna host one, get in ASAP, because Lou's been very, very busy with all these event stuff, so.

She's Rob. She's great. She reached back to me like instant almost instantaneously when I created my event. So good job to Lou. Anyway, Rob, large events coming up beyond this weekend. Of course, we said it last time as well. The Boston Bilston Bonanza. That's great to say. I'll tell you that Saturday, August 10th in Bilston, West Midlands, UK 24 there so far. And of course, as I said last time, they got prizes, grab bags, 50 prize wheels as you walk along the pins. That's pretty cool. So

Yes, get yourself to Bilston, West Midlands in the UK on August

Rob (09:35.118)
On August 17th, we've got a unique event in Watson Town, Pennsylvania, and it's going to be a coexist event. I saw something about this on I think the water cooler was like, wow, that's cool. He put out a video for the Munzee Monthly Moments, if I remember correctly. yeah, so it's on a real working farm, which is like, all right, there's some unique stuff,

Craig (09:42.512)
Mm -hmm. Mm -hmm.

Craig (09:53.488)
Yes, you did. Yes.

Craig (10:02.768)
Mm

Rob (10:03.994)
of real like petting zoo and everything. I mean, if you've ever wanted to go to a Munzee slash petting zoo that, you know, it's not some commercial petting zoo. This is like, Hey, these are his, these are his, his animals, working animals, you know, like cool.

Craig (10:07.093)
Yep.

Craig (10:17.988)
No, it's free. It's free, free entry. Exactly. DeTruck, his name is DeTruck. He does a great job with it, with stuff as well. He's a very big co -exister now. I've stayed on his farm, Rob. I've been there and, and I booked it yesterday. I'm going to this event in Watson town in Pennsylvania. Yes, I am. I'll go to there and see his working farm and do all that sort of stuff too. So make sure you have a look at that August 17th.

Rob (10:37.186)
How are you? Cool.

Craig (10:46.746)
September 20th to 22nd, four events in Muncie Mischief, Fort Worth, Texas. And again, crossing all my fingers, toes and arms and legs. Hopefully my car is fixed and I can get to those ones as well. September 20th to 22nd in Fort Worth, Texas, Muncie Mischief in January,

Rob (11:05.154)
Yeah, January 16th to 19th. We're headed back to Florida with five events starting Thursday, running through Sunday. And that's for Munzee Mecca. So watch out for that.

Craig (11:18.458)
If you've never been to Florida in that time of the year, I'm telling you, Rob, people need to, it's the perfect time for Munzee event to walk around beautiful park areas and see the wildlife being Florida men and then go from there. exactly. Other that we have on January 25th in Sydney, Australia, we have Munzee quest and it's coinciding with the GeoQuest Geocaching mega slash block party event as well.

Rob (11:34.424)
Mm -hmm. Yeah.

Craig (11:47.036)
and again, as I said last week, Rob, this is going to grow exactly the same as what it did in the ACT and in which they had over 80, 80 attendees, this year at the ACT event, which is awesome to see. very, very good. All right, Rob, let's move on quickly to the events that happened this week. The first thing I noticed that came out this week as well was this traveling troop. It's a rolled out. I like when you say this. It's the traveling troopers rolled into town. and it goes from now until September

Tell us a little bit more about

Rob (12:18.476)
Yeah, so literally just a little bit more. What we have going on with this traveling troop is this this is this is something that's going to be be here and then it's going to go away and then the traveling troop may roll back into town may reappear you know later on down the road. So so sort of yeah, just a coming and a going of of

Craig (12:26.512)
Mm

Craig (12:31.248)
Mm -hmm. Yeah.

Craig (12:37.457)
Mm

Mm -hmm.

Craig (12:47.644)
That's fun.

Rob (12:48.536)
flat performers. So this whole traveling troop is all centered around the flats. So there's going to be or there is one cart one like rolling cart like the rolling show like as it rolls into town, that is going to be the the main icon that's bouncing around on the map. And when you capture that cart, then it scatters flat performers nearby.

Craig (12:50.566)
Craig (12:57.137)
Mm -hmm.

Craig (13:03.857)
Mm -hmm.

Craig (13:18.467)
Nice.

Rob (13:19.546)
huh. And so then if you cap the flat performers, then they may scatter props nearby after that. So it's like a double scattering type of mob. It is

Craig (13:28.508)
see?

It's like the light mysteries. That's nice. I love it when you do this sort of stuff, Rob. I really do. So if people don't know, this is what they class as a mob, -O -B, or a Munzee -owned bouncer, as opposed to the bouncers you can buy, et cetera. This isn't one of those. This is owned by Munzee, so if it comes and goes, it's circus themed, which is really, really cool. as we, Rob, we always say it, if you see a caput, that's If you see a caput, that's the best.

Rob (13:57.688)
That's, that it's that simple.

Craig (14:00.142)
It's that simple. the go awesome to see Rob and they do look fantastic too, by the way. love, I love the artwork. I always do. look at you. Look at you. Exactly. speaking of flats, Rob, we have the flat disc golf basket scatters from Thursday to Sunday this weekend as well. So that's really cool.

Rob (14:07.118)
It's going to be very entertaining, can tell you that much, as we continue to roll more out. Yeah, yeah.

Rob (14:26.22)
Yeah. Flat disc golf day is, I think it's on Saturday. And so, you know, this is one of those, one of those things that we do, put out these flat, scatters, from time to time. as, as you know, they're part of the, clan wars requirements for this month. So it was like, well, if they're going to be in the clan wars requirements, then I guess that means there's going to be some scatters. So yeah, the first one of, of August is the flat disc

Craig (14:28.486)
Mm -hmm. Mm -hmm.

Craig (14:43.106)
Yes!

Rob (14:56.086)
Another one is coming soon as was written in the blog. So there is there's a special badge that can only be earned Thursday through Sunday of this week for the flat disc golf basket scatters. And there's a buy by whatever three get one free going on in the store. Everything about this is like, yeah, we've done this before. yeah, we know about this. Yeah. So same.

Craig (15:14.394)
Mm -hmm.

Craig (15:19.738)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Perfect. What it's going to be the challenge for me personally, Rob is that this thing starts on Thursday yet, yet clan wars won't start till Saturday. So that means I'm going to hold off for two whole days of a not capping my flats around me just so I can, you know, use them for the, for the clan wars. Also, I don't know if I can do that, Rob. I'll be honest. I'm one of those, you know, me, I'm one of those types that needs to get it done as soon as it happens. Clan wars included. So

Rob (15:47.5)
I know it's, it's an interesting test. Don't you think because that, the person who designed the clan war requirements this month definitely saw it as a test was like, Hmm. The clam wars don't start until Saturday. If this is a clan requirement, I wonder if people will wait.

Craig (16:00.166)
Hmm.

Yeah. No, I, I, I, I'll be honest with you. I don't think I'm going to rock. I can't, I can't. I'm one of those that likes to screenshot the badge or whatever else and put one to be the first one to put it on social media. So, all right. Speaking of clan wars now, look at this rolling into one another. I like it. I'm to talk a little bit about clan wars requirements for this, this month, this coming month as well. because things have changed slightly now if also

Rob (16:12.2)
Hehehehehe

Rob (16:22.934)
What?

Craig (16:33.046)
Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. I have to say it three times. He's got a new video out about clan wars as well. So again, just like, wheeling, get on YouTube, have a look and make sure you subscribe to Minnesota boy. does a lot of videos like this and he's getting a little bit more videos into, education, you know what mean? So he's looking at tutorial type stuff as well, like with

events, know, event pins and stuff like that too. So that's awesome. Minnesota boy on YouTube. Make sure you get there. Meanwhile, Rob, as I said, you are getting more creative and more detailed with the requirements. Okay. I did see that you've got literally not just bounces. You've got story land bounces and people straight away went, what's a storyline bounce? Well, they probably didn't say it that way, but Rob, as some do, as you said though, a few times.

Rob (17:21.624)
Some of them.

Craig (17:26.402)
have a look at the entire blog. is a link in the bottom of that blog, tells you exactly what are story land bounces. But if you don't know what they are, they're Jabberwock, Treefolk, Winged Monkey, Owlbear, Frankenstein, Frog Prince and Dodekahedron. So they're the story land type bounces. And guess what people, they're available in the store. That's right. So these points that you need for story land bounces would also include Capons in my

Rob (17:55.3)
You are correct. Yes.

Craig (17:56.496)
There you go. There you go. You can get cap on points while you're sleeping. So, yeah, if you don't have any of those sterile and bounces, then get to the store ASAP and get yourself at least one, two, three or four or all of them.

Rob (18:08.59)
There are quite a few. They've been in the store for the month of July, birthday stuff. So yeah, I can imagine that we leave them in for at least the first few days of Clan Wars, just in case anyone is interested in picking up some of those story land points. Yeah, so they're in the help guide. That way people can see more about them. So check it out. But

Craig (18:15.306)
Mm

Craig (18:24.72)
Mm

Makes sense.

Craig (18:35.342)
Mm -hmm. But what are you doing? This is the question I have. What are you doing, Robin, in regards to clan wars? We see, everyone sees it. Everyone sees that all of sudden now you're getting more specific with your tasks. And I'll tell you now, a hundred percent from my point of view, personally, I love it. I really do. You know, more tasks, the more, not the harder, but you know, sometimes it's, it's good to actually push yourself a little bit here and there. So I really enjoy it. And again,

I'm one of those players. I feel myself being a bigger player. You know, I'm not a beginner anymore. And so therefore one, those levels one, two, three, even, you know, I can breeze through those. They're not a problem. They're more for beginners. Is that the way you've done them now as

Rob (19:08.076)
Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (19:17.836)
Yeah, that's definitely what the goal is. last month I set it up so that one and two were like very, very easy. Like one is literally a walk in the park, because there's nothing special about it. You have to get some greenie points and otherwise it's just points. I did decide to step it up just a little bit for level two for the month of August because, because I do feel

Craig (19:28.793)
Mm

Rob (19:44.331)
there there was there was a step that was kind of missing. So it's possible that I may have taken from level one to level two, I might have taken like a bigger step than I needed to. So I might tone it back down a little bit for September. I don't know yet. I'm gonna wait until I can see the numbers because we can look at the numbers and see how many clans make level one, level two, three, four, five, six. And so, you know, we've got some internal goals that have that have definitely

Craig (19:59.58)
Mm

Rob (20:13.88)
this improved massively in July. a lot of that again, as we've talked about before, involves getting more people active daily, weekly, monthly, those kinds of numbers. And Clam Wars is one of our main ways to do that. So I do not want everything to be

Craig (20:15.708)
Mm -hmm. Mm

Rob (20:37.71)
simplest level possible. I really don't I don't want level one and level two to just be like a breeze. However, it should, it's going to be a little more difficult this month for two. But then for those people like you that aim 456, then you if you think that I'm getting creative and that things are getting a little bit more like, man, we have to do some work. We're

Craig (20:39.024)
No, no.

Craig (21:02.289)
Mm

Craig (21:05.808)
Yeah.

Rob (21:06.402)
We've only just begun. I've had my, my new special tools for two months. That's all. I, I, I need to do some, some additional planning earlier in the month, in the month of August to prep for September so that it's not last minute, like freaking out going, what should I do? What should I do? Cause you know, that's how I actually work. Yeah.

Craig (21:10.652)
Hahaha

Craig (21:17.006)
Mm -hmm. Mm

Craig (21:28.576)
I know exactly how you work. Exactly. No, we do. I'll let you know, Rob, we do appreciate it. And people out there as well be, have a look, have a look at what you need to do, but have a look at the rewards that you actually get for what you're doing as well. And to me, people don't really look at the rewards. Sometimes Rob, they just look at, think of levels. That's it. And forget about what you're actually getting as rewards. And, you know, I will say this,

If you want to have a look first and go, that's way too hard. They shouldn't do that. Have a look at the rewards and then use the store to count up the dollar value of those rewards. You see, and you would then find out that the actual jump in the difficulty is also a jump in the dollars as well. So yeah. Am I, am I wrong in saying that? Cause that's what I've seen. Yeah.

Rob (22:00.622)
Yeah.

Rob (22:12.62)
no, you're correct. And this time in particular, I really tried to look at it with, if people are going to get to the rewards of level one, then you're going to use some of those to get to level two and you might use even more of them to get to level three. And so it's a training system for players that we would like to see them continue to come back weekly, monthly, daily, you know, and to do that, you've got to, you've got to be able to build up your own area.

Craig (22:22.683)
Mm

Craig (22:28.358)
Mm

Rob (22:41.874)
and learn how to communicate with other people because that's how people make it to level four, five, six is they have a system of people that they interact with. That's

Craig (22:42.054)
Mm -hmm. Mm

Craig (22:51.874)
Exactly. And I will say as well, clan wars to me personally, it is a big reason why I love Munzee so much. you know, you get that com comradery between a little group of people, you know, and, that common goal as well. every single day you then deploy for each other, you know, I need this. Okay. Here it is. I need this. Here it is. so you get that sort of nice little comradery there together and it's, and it's a lot more fun. Absolutely. A lot more fun. So yeah, stick to it just to let you know, and to put pressure now on my team.

Level six, Rob, for the first time ever, we're to go for level six in the month of August. So there you go. You heard that because I know some of them do list, not all of them, but some of them do listen. So if you're listening to this, my team, Geo Clan is the name, then level six is going to be ours for August. So there you go. All right, mate, we're going to move on now to the Munzee Maniacs podcast. They had a brand new episode just released. Have you listened to it yet? No, I knew you wouldn't.

Rob (23:24.898)
Really? Wow.

Rob (23:31.234)
Thank you.

Rob (23:39.16)
Good luck.

Rob (23:46.562)
I have not yet. I've got, I've, I've got to catch up on some stuff. I've been, I didn't do all my other jobs last week because I was focused on the claim requirements. So I got to catch

Craig (23:56.964)
Well, this episode, if you don't know this episode itself features PJ PJ and PJ. He loved to chat in this one. He had a lot to talk about in this episode. So if you, if you really enjoy what PJ says and how we talk, this is the episode for you. That's what I'll say. He did have a couple of questions for us, Rob too. See, so I'm going to reach out to you now. One of them is, and this may now obviously doesn't happen anymore, but this may happen in future. And he asked if you're a mailbox holder.

Rob (24:16.142)
Okay.

Craig (24:26.844)
Did you need to cap your mailbox on the Friday before the triple points kicked in now, because he's asking this is because he's he's Munzee HQ Friday. It starts on Thursday afternoon at like 3 p or something like that. You know what I mean? So if he's coming home from work after three o 'clock, does he need to cap his his mailbox before he gets the triple points or is it automatically

Rob (24:40.172)
All right, yeah,

Rob (24:51.212)
Yeah, it's an automatic thing, which is really nice because, yeah, otherwise you would have to have whatever that thing is with you. And we wouldn't want people to have to move their mailbox. So no, the, the system recognizes that you are a mailbox owner. You've got a hidden title basically, that we know that the system knows. And the same thing is going to be true in August. Whenever we do the premium member triple points weekend, premium members don't have to do anything. You're just.

Craig (24:54.022)
Mm

Craig (25:07.28)
Mm

Craig (25:15.6)
Right. Yep. Yep. You won't have to do anything. Yeah.

Rob (25:19.168)
It just happens. so, yeah, that's how the mailbox is set up as

Craig (25:22.896)
That's fair enough. That's fair. There you go. PJ. Well done, mate. And I will say this now. Guess what, Rob? PJ. He, he agreed with me. Yes, me. He called it a curate. He called it a cure and a cubamal as well. A curate and a cubamal. That's what he called it. So there you go. Sam. There you go, Sam. Wow. Wow. Wow. Are you going to get on his back like you do mine?

Rob (25:32.757)
No.

Rob (25:36.814)
He's wrong. he's double wrong.

Rob (25:48.694)
Yes, Sam, go ahead. You can block PJ's account as well. on.

Craig (25:52.412)
All right, Rob, we're ready now for the Munsies questions of the week. And I say questions because there is a couple as well. So there you go. First one is from Darcy on Facebook. And they said, do the daily stars that you cap, you chase, sorry, the cappy and you chase around, do they count towards the daily

Rob (26:14.426)
Ooh, yes, yes, they do. We tried to promote this in a major way from the beginning, but maybe we missed our mark. It was designed so that it is something to help everyone around the world wherever you are, you don't have to have anything around you. You start the daily stroll with Cappy and there you go. You cap one star, your daily streak is alive.

Craig (26:16.189)
Mm

Craig (26:29.403)
That's

Craig (26:36.994)
wow. That's great to know, especially with people out there who do always say, know, or how do I keep my streak alive? If I'm on a cruise ship, how do I keep my streak alive? If I'm going to, I don't know, like Timbuktu, Nepal, wherever, know, where there's nothing around, well, there you go people. You don't have to just rely on the water cooler, for instance, and saying, you know, can you deploy here for me, for my holidays? No, you can actually keep your streak going that way as well. Thank you very much for that, mate.

All right, this is a more of a Munzee request this one, and this is from Renee on Discord and Riney. it is too. I always say Renee. See? No, sorry, sorry, Riney. There you go. He said, he said, can we add a sort by distance to the maintenance needed screen in your profile, similar to that of the event screen? Cause it's currently only sorted by date. There you

Rob (27:07.791)
it's rainy.

Rob (27:11.65)
Him again, yeah.

Rob (27:29.528)
Hmm. Well, there's this other guy who works for Munzee, does a lot of the backend stuff, especially on the website. And, I mean, maybe he's listening right now because he's the one who kind of makes notes about these things and then fixes them. So, I don't know. I don't know what's possible. I, I do know that this won't happen quickly because I believe he's talking about, well, the

Craig (27:48.538)
There you

Craig (27:54.917)
No, no,

Rob (27:58.946)
But yeah, the things that happen in the app take us a little bit longer. And as I've said previously on something else, this isn't in our top five at the moment, I can tell you that much. But

Craig (28:03.609)
Mm

Craig (28:08.174)
Mm -hmm. That's okay. That's okay. That's why I put it as a request. You see the request can be accepted or denied or put on a back burner. So there you go. At least put it in the list if needed. So thank you very much for that, Rhyny. All right, tips of the week, Rob, we're gonna have two because we've got time for two. The first one is this, adding a Google map link and a website if possible to your POI submissions. This allows for quicker approvals, et cetera. Cause you guys have to physically,

Rob (28:13.578)
Hey.

Rob (28:17.89)
There you

Craig (28:37.86)
actually physically look at it, research it, make sure it's a correct PY for that thing and then approve it from there, don't you?

Rob (28:44.589)
Yeah, yeah. Any details that people add to POI submissions are just going to help us accept them quicker. If we have to take a guess, then we're probably going to deny it and ask you to give us more information. So yeah,

Craig (28:59.3)
Mm -hmm. Yeah. So if you want them done quicker, the normal, make sure you put those in Google map link is one of the best ones I find as well. Cause literally you can just click, you can click on it, Rob and go, yeah, that's it. Well, approved done. All right. Next one. And the last one for the tip of the week. And this one's from me. This tips from me after last weekend, deploying the new light missions. I think I've said this before, if you can deploy them at or near events, et cetera, cause unlike other scatters that are only good for one single

If you're lucky enough to get a card deployed for you on your behalf from the light mystery, everyone at that event can cap that card and that card does not have proximity rules to other cards. So you get points, points and more points. Now the example for this Rob is that I had three, three cards deployed at the event in England on the weekend and I 20 plus caps on each of those cards.

Rob (29:54.958)
That's my setup. I'm the one who had the light mystery deployed.

Craig (29:57.978)
That's you. I thought I'm cause I'm thinking of stuff. didn't deploy in England. I know I thought I deployed in, in the Ohio mine was, you know, hi. I thought I got more than that. So see this is what happens. Yeah.

Rob (30:04.802)
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

That is too funny. I should have written Rob next to this part because I deployed, went and looked at the, the event that was happening in the UK, the pirates event, and I couldn't get any cards close. So I was like, well, look, I can put a virtual. I put a light mystery there. It got capped by 20 plus people

Craig (30:25.297)
Mm

Rob (30:33.102)
through that happening, three cards got deployed right there around the area. So each of those three cards got another 20 plus caps on it. And it was like, wow, that actually worked exactly like I hoped as a player. So my investment had I made one for light mystery, definitely would have paid off for points on that one. So sorry, sorry that my story and your story, they match up just different parts of the world.

Craig (30:37.105)
Mm

Yes.

Craig (30:43.964)
Yes!

Craig (30:51.676)
pays off exactly

they match up because I looked at those, was reading the notes and went, hang on, did I type England? Like I was in the back of my mind. I'm like, no, I should have been Ohio. Cause I did the one in Ohio. Like I think I, I think I deployed, I think I deployed two, two in Ohio, but I've got the same sort of results as well. So yeah, brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Loved it and great job. So if that doesn't make you get some more light mysteries under your belt, I don't know what will. So especially for triple point weekend coming up very, very soon.

Rob (31:03.728)
Thank

Rob (31:12.066)
Yeah. Wow.

Craig (31:26.212)
All right, Rob, guess what? ends another official Munzee podcast.
