We follow the Tour de France femme of X -Swift, go from stage to stage, just, you know, supporting the race, cheering on all the ladies that are out there racing. Well, where should we start? With the big, huge elephant in the room, or what's behind them? okay. Alright, cool.

Yes. Yeah. No, no elephant first elephant. Get that out. Tear off the bandaid, mate. Tear off the bandaid. was for those people who don't know what we're talking about. We're talking about how slow things were over the weekend, you know, and it was, it was slow. people were timing it. I was timing it as well. And I was getting, you know, back and forth with you a few times and, just, and to support to give you timings. It was coming up on average about 12 seconds to actually cap like a skyline that had, had,

had virtuals in it. So what was happening with all that Rob in the backend?

Yeah, so we definitely saw an increase in the time related to a lot of captures. It wasn't necessarily every single capture. It wasn't all players. It was something that was happening.

Specifically what we have found and we've already put I think two fixes in place But it's actually stuff that that has been around for a year since we switched over to the new system So I'm truly I'm gonna give a bunch of information here Just just so that everyone understands because not not trying to hide anything So we had some things that that stuck around from when we moved over to v2

that dealt with magnets and that dealt with resorts, or sorry, not resorts, destinations, different types of them. More treehouse than Skyland. However, a lot of the others were impacted as well for speed. So we've already put several fixes in place and the thing that we know is the biggest testing that will happen with it is when we have massive, massive gameplay again because

We were absolutely breaking records, hourly breaking some records. Our team was watching everything on Friday and basically saying, how are we getting numbers this big already? So we knew that Saturday was gonna be big. The team was active in monitoring. I was very active in relaying information that was coming in to me. Thankfully, you know, I was home.

was in the UK so we were working on those things in the in the early hours of the MHQ day is that right yeah because because I was up at like 8 which is to MHQ time you know so so we were we were doing what we could the the thing that we focused on most I have to say is keeping the whole thing going so even though

Speed was an issue. We didn't get many reports about being unable to play, period. And that's kind of where all the focus went. We, we, we mega -sized everything over the course of the weekend, starting on Friday, in order to try and, try and prepare, try and damn everything up so that it would hold.

And so pleased that it held. Wish that the speed had been better for everyone and we're working through all of it first before we come out with, okay, now here's some future plans. Not looking at anything major, major, major like let's see if we can burn the servers down again anytime soon.

No, no, and I've kind of gathered that over the last few months, I will say, if you look back people, because this is what I did, I looked back and had a look, and you started off by having double points on certain items, flats and virtuals and whatever else as well, and then you came out with that one day triple points for everyone, for instance, that one day or whatever it was, and that's all it was, you see, and I was like, whoa, and no, that's right, it was for mailbox holders.

And so again, not everyone's a mailbox holder. So you're slowly putting more and more pressure onto this system to see. And so yeah, last weekend was, I can see, and everyone can tell by the number, by numbers, numbers don't lie, purely by the numbers that it was the biggest stress factor on your servers, on your system, on your code, on everything. I'll be honest, Rob, I don't know. I'm not in that.

It was frustrating to some.

That was high. the only other thing I could think about too, Rob, and this would put stress as well on the system. And that is the amount of deploys that was happening too, thanks to Cuppa Zee Gardens. So like, you know, you did put that pressure on yourselves as well by getting the Cuppa Zee Gardens out there just beforehand. And, you know, I'll be honest, Rob, I was at my event in Jersey here itself. And, and yes, I gave out a couple of referral cards on my trip around too. And, and also I was there and I kind of gave a little bit of a tutorial.

We're talking, if you don't understand, if you haven't been on the water cooler, then we're talking about the flat scatters.

So have, if you don't get any of that, all I'll say is this, submit to the Woody Claude, you put it out as the blog and email.

the emails blog and you can get an email as soon as it comes out from headquarters. You don't need to be on social media. You don't need to be any of that sort of stuff. Just get it on email and you can read it at your own leisure. So there you go. But Rob, so let's talk about this. Firstly, firstly, the flat scatter points themselves were a level three group requirement. This is what I saw. They were a level three group requirement which you can't actually complete until the 18th of August anyway due to days of play. I know, right?

And to them I say, well, why are you still playing? But anyway, there has been a couple, and I'll name a couple of these as well.

Yes. So I was going to say, so if you get your level two requirements, you obtain a flat loo to put out the day of the flat loo scatters go live. So wow, that's incredible. And then Rob, I noticed, I noticed this personally, and I saw put on the wine cooler as well, water cooler as well. And that is that flat loos in Cuppa Sea gardens are available cheaper than they are anywhere else.

they're available to redeem for 400 Zs instead of 450 Zs. So, you know, what do you, I know, right? I know. put in, I did put in a support to say, is that correct? Is that the price correct? Just to make sure, cause you know, and yeah, no, you said it's correct. It's not a problem. So I went, okay, that's good. So.

If you have a look and join together. If you don't...

If you don't have any around you, reach out to your clan members and say, I don't have a flat loo near me and then deploy for each other. Why? Because the points are capping and cap on. it's not, and deploy. It's not that, no, no, we're talking about the scatters though Rob. We're talking about the scatters. The scatters are cap on and capping as well. So you can both then get towards your goal requirement for the group. Group requirement.
