Seemyshell (00:01.338)
Welcome to the official Munzee podcast.

Rob (00:04.014)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.

Seemyshell (00:07.753)
And I'm Craig also known as Seemyshell I'm an avid Munzee player and I'm here to explore the game further.

Rob (00:12.95)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.

Seemyshell (00:20.016)
So sit back, relax, have your coffee, drive your car, whatever you're doing, because today we're talking about events and gardens and scatters and ending the show, Rob, with a few Q and A's for you, I dare say, but we'll see how it goes.

Rob (00:33.699)
Always exciting, isn't it?

Seemyshell (00:36.022)
Mate, mate, you're looking all refreshed. I thought you'd be all tired by now.

Rob (00:40.386)
Well, I worked on my tan for the last week, that's for sure. Got a nice flip flop tan on my feet. Didn't get tons and tons of sleep because we were just constant. But yeah, I've followed Lou and teammate Rhian around six different countries. Started off in Netherlands, yeah. And I was fortunate to get to go over into Luxembourg too.

Seemyshell (00:44.616)
Seemyshell (00:48.794)
Ha ha ha!

Seemyshell (00:58.704)
Mm

Wow.

Seemyshell (01:08.602)
Mm

Rob (01:10.454)
actually deployed a Munzee over there and got myself a geocaching souvenir. Yeah, coexists.

Seemyshell (01:12.623)
Yes.

Seemyshell (01:16.282)
There you go. There you go. Exactly. we, I find Munzie are very happy with co -exist. Not the other way around. Just saying. No. No, no.

Rob (01:26.056)
not always not always reciprocal relationship there that's for sure but yeah i was able to able to go and do a lot of stuff drove a couple thousand miles is what it ended up being from beginning to end yeah and the good news is that there are nine more internationals muntzes out there on the map we were able to because we started in netherlands we started in roderdam

Seemyshell (01:37.264)
Mm

Seemyshell (01:40.771)
Wow.

Seemyshell (01:49.564)
you

Seemyshell (01:54.159)
Mm

Rob (01:54.54)
was deployed a couple there and then actually heard from a player FRLK just talking about the fact that they had gone out and deployed some event months. These were that they were setting up an event location that's coming up I think next month and let me know where it was and that it was the corner of three different countries. It's the corner of Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. So they had no idea that I was actually...

Seemyshell (02:01.257)
yes.

Rob (02:21.816)
trying to figure out like where should Lou and Rhian start their ride the next day. But we drove there and they started their ride there. So I put Internationals onesies at that location. So those people who go to that event, know, so anyway, well, should be good. So yeah, so that's where we're at. That's the fun that I've had.

Seemyshell (02:23.731)
That's

Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (02:35.842)
that's a great idea.

Seemyshell (02:43.74)
We all love our geo location type things. so, you know, the borders of three countries is pretty cool. yeah, the trifecta of countries. We've got it here in the U S but they're only, they're only States. They're not countries you see, whereas yeah, over in Europe, you can actually have three different countries. So you can literally get a Munzee or a geocache for instance, in three different countries within the space of, you know, 10, 15 minutes almost. That is my, that is, and

Rob (02:51.521)
I

Rob (02:57.07)
Yeah, yeah.

Rob (03:07.51)
Yes, yes you can. Pretty, pretty exciting. It's been fun. Yeah, what have you been up to? Mm. Yeah.

Seemyshell (03:13.774)
Well, I was gonna say before we go onto myself, if anyone wants to see what you've been up to for the last week or so, then go to your YouTube channel, just Rob V or Lou's YouTube channel is LouTube, and you'll see all the fun and excitement you guys had. There's a viral video going out now, Rob, I saw as well with Swift, Zwift, Zwift, it? Strava, Strava, Strava, that's right, yeah, both of them. And there's a video, if people haven't seen it, I don't know where you've been, but you need to watch it, and that is,

Rob (03:34.188)
Yeah, Zwift, Strava, yeah, both of them, but yeah, yeah.

Seemyshell (03:42.96)
Basically, Lou gave off a hamburger to one of the riders as she was riding past because apparently she asked for it or something. Tell us about that, man. Did she ask for it on social media?

Rob (03:51.202)
Yeah, yeah with with about three kilometers left in the final stage Lou passed a hamburger off to Allison Jackson who's a Canadian racer. Yeah, so so she had Last year she had requested a burger. So I actually showed up on the last climb with a squeaky dog toy But the weather wasn't good. I didn't give it to her. We gave it to her the next day So we've kind of got this running Joke and fun with her

Seemyshell (03:57.638)
Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (04:08.944)
Mm

Seemyshell (04:13.466)
Bye.

Seemyshell (04:17.072)
Mm

Nice.

Rob (04:20.594)
And same thing this year. So we were about 3K out from the finish. Lou passed off a hamburger, an actual hamburger, which Allison took. She took a bite of it like right then. She went no hands going up a climb to open the wrapper, took a bite, carried it with her the entire final 3K. And when she crossed the finish line, all the teams are celebrating, you know, and all that. Not her. She stops. She eats the rest of the hamburger.

Seemyshell (04:25.009)
Mm

Seemyshell (04:29.305)
Yeah. Sheep.

Seemyshell (04:43.153)
you

Seemyshell (04:49.914)
That's gold. Next year, Rob, next year, here's a thought for you. You're gonna have to get sponsorship, buy a hamburger place. I'm talking food trucks sort of style. Park the food truck there where the handover is and get Lou again to do the handover and everything else as well. And people can then buy the hamburgers, their official international hamburgers, the Femme hamburger. You see? Yes, see?

Rob (05:10.158)
That's that is quite an idea. man I don't know if food trucks could make it up those climbs Lou and her team on bikes all of the pros on bikes Yes, me in the car, but a food truck boy that'd be spilling everywhere. I love the idea I think that would be great. We did talk about getting a barbecue grill But it was last -minute thought and we just couldn't find one quick enough. Yeah, so

Seemyshell (05:18.714)
This is true, this is true.

Seemyshell (05:28.022)
Yeah. okay. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, no, that's fair enough. That's fair enough. Mate, my weekend was not as big as yours, but it was still big as well because I went to Pennsylvania. I drove out four and a bit hours away. Dan DeTruck was having an actual event and it was a Munzee event coexisting with geocaching event, et cetera, et cetera. It was fantastic. Rob, I'm telling you now, if you don't...

Rob (05:43.978)
Wow.

Seemyshell (05:54.949)
You have a look at my YouTube video. I'll just say that I did a, not, not W Helen, not Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. No, I did a video this time of the actual fun itself. We had the pins out. We're around the phone. Yeah. you did. Yeah.

Rob (06:01.634)
Ha

Rob (06:05.644)
And I just watched it. Yeah, I just watched your video and it is good and people do need to watch it because I mean the animals are the stars I've got to say of your video. You know, yeah.

Seemyshell (06:12.005)
Mm

They really are, they really are, absolutely are. And rightfully so too, especially Max the dog. He's the farm dog. He's the main farm dog, Max. And Max doesn't leave Dan's side. If you look at Dan within 12 feet around him, Max is sitting there, standing there somewhere. He doesn't bark, he doesn't jump, he doesn't do anything. He loves pats and he just hangs. Like he is a dog, an old dog. So yeah, that's Max. And he makes a bit of a star performance as well in the video itself.

Rob (06:21.112)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (06:44.496)
But I will say, Rob, a few geocaching players were there that returned to Munzee, like myself as well, and many others out there in the last sort of few years. All these older players are returning to Munzee, which is awesome. I love the return because they open up the app again, they go, what is going on here? Now, especially at events, as you know, it does get overwhelming. So here's a tip for anyone out there at an event, geocaching event or whatever, and a Munzee event.

Rob (06:50.574)
Okay.

Rob (07:04.044)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (07:13.528)
If you show someone Munzee and they open up the app and they go, it's overwhelming. It's overwhelming. Don't try and tell them about bounces. Don't try and tell them about the scatters and you know, and how bounces can land upon others and tree houses. That's too much. All you tell them Rob, all you tell them is the circle ones are virtual and this is how you cap them. The square ones are physical and you need to look for a physical QR code. That's it. That's it.

Let them figure out and obviously give them your details if they want to, you know, ask questions later on, but don't overwhelm them with the bounces and scatters. Because Rob, we could be there sitting there for days and days and days. The amount that's gone on in Munzee over the last few years in my mind is just insane. So there you go, people. That's my tip. If you want to keep people in the game, friends, family, that sort thing, don't overwhelm them with all the information because it is too much, Rob. It really is. So.

Rob (07:49.742)
Yeah.

Rob (08:07.522)
Yes, it is. Very wise.

Seemyshell (08:08.656)
There you go. All right, speaking of last weekend, we had events only in Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Around the world, we had three in Germany, one in UK and one in Netherlands, Rob the leaderboards on Friday.

Rob (08:21.422)
yeah, leaderboards on Friday, Homie 101 with 273 ,000, the usual Munzee Prof coming in second at 239 ,000, and Jarosław Kos, 227 ,000.

Seemyshell (08:35.804)
On Saturday we had Skindo at 307 ,000, J1 Heusman at 248 ,000, keep that water cooler going, and Munzee Prof in third this time, not second, with 243 ,000 points on Sunday.

Rob (08:50.734)
FRLK with 297 ,000, Regal 276 ,000, and Juroslav Kos 254 ,000.

Seemyshell (08:59.108)
there you go. So FRLK, that's the one you mentioned before. It's hosting the events in the tri -country state area. events around the world this time coming this weekend in USA. We only have one in Missouri. That's it. One in US, one in Missouri. That's all it is. Around the world,

Rob (09:06.114)
Yeah, yeah, that's it.

Rob (09:17.886)
Around the world we've got Dorset here in the UK, in England, and Victoria, Australia.

Seemyshell (09:24.956)
There you go. And large events coming up beyond this weekend. Rob, I found some more. More have been published. We said last week, congratulations again to Dale and Barb hosting an event in Florida, August 28th. It's their 25th wedding anniversary. Again, he can't attend. Happy anniversary card would be much appreciated, dare say. Then Munzee Mischief on September 20th to 22nd, four events. There's 29, Will attends there so far, but we can get that up people. Come on, let's go, let's go, because we want...

you know, other people to arrive as well. Locations have now been published apparently. So exact locations, were TBA before, they have now been published. What she does, Rob, she messaged me, what she does is she obviously gets sponsorship from others for all these events, because it is a lot of money in regards to things like other big events do as well. And so she starts to build guard. And when I talk about she, sorry, I shouldn't say she, it is my, it's Danar.

Rob (10:00.961)
Okay.

Seemyshell (10:22.908)
Not Denali, yeah Denali 0407. My goodness, my brain's a mess. Denali 0407, what she does is she creates some gardens, et cetera, and puts them in the hide mode and then gives them to the sponsors to sort of deploy first, you see, and then tells the sponsors first, first and foremost where the locations are so they can get their few deploys in first if they wanna deploy in the area. And then she releases it to the rest of the world. yeah.

Rob (10:38.466)
Okay.

Rob (10:48.406)
Now that makes sense. And that's available on cup of the gardens as well. Like you can have a hidden link and then make it public. So wow, very good.

Seemyshell (10:52.357)
Yes it is.

Seemyshell (10:57.146)
That's right, people with the link, people only with the link can actually deploy in it. So there you go. So good work, Denali0407. Have a look at that munjiv, munzy mischief, Fort Worth, Texas in September. January Rob.

Rob (11:09.742)
Let's talk about 2025. You put this on the notes and wow, I am loving it. I can't believe that this many have already been put out there for 2025. So everyone pay attention. Here it comes 2025. We're gonna kick off the year in Florida, January 16th to 19th. We've got 22 already on that list. We know that that's gonna go much larger. There's five events.

Seemyshell (11:12.26)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (11:20.272)
Mm

Rob (11:35.699)
one that's a pre -event on Thursday. is Munzee Mecca. So be ready for that. Yep.

Seemyshell (11:40.444)
Munzey Mecca. Yes, I can almost guarantee Rob, I'll be there I dare say, but anyway. Speaking of January, January 25th and 26th now, Munzey Quest and Block Party in Sydney, Australia, coinciding with the GeoCaching Mega event itself as well. 11 there so far, but we can get those numbers up because they had a second event. You see they only had the one before, now they've got the two. So one on each day, January 25th and 22nd.

Then in California, this has been released, Rob. What's in California?

Rob (12:11.918)
Ooh, Munzee Madness is already on the calendar. This is very exciting. So this is March 8th and 9th, which are the same days that it was this past year. I can remember that because the 10th is my birthday. you know, we that was the Sunday afterwards. So, yeah, March 8th and 9th in California. That's always down in Southern California. I don't know that the locations are out there yet, but it's going to be good. It's always good, always big.

Seemyshell (12:15.345)
Mm

Seemyshell (12:24.557)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (12:38.06)
Exactly. Exactly. Well, one location has been put out there, Rob, in regards to May the 3rd. May the 3rd, we're gonna Munzee in Uranus. A group of people, Rob, have got together and thought, you know, this is gonna be a fun idea to actually, you know, cap some Munzee in Uranus and play Munzee in Uranus.

Rob (12:42.231)
Okay.

Rob (12:46.19)
Here we go.

my goodness.

Rob (13:02.55)
Right. Now where is Uranus again? Which state is Uranus in? Okay. All right.

Seemyshell (13:05.602)
Missouri Uranus, Missouri. apparently, Dalen Barb as well, they they've already said, they're gonna be there. So Dalen Barb are going to be in Uranus. Dalen Barb are going to be selling selling Munzees out of Uranus. Exactly. Exactly. Even if you even if you have to you have to detour into Uranus, you know, you bypass your normal route and that detour down into Uranus. But anyway,

Rob (13:13.368)
Ugh.

Rob (13:19.316)
Uranus is going to be huge in May. This is a very large event. Be sure you're there.

Ha ha ha.

I can't take anymore we have to move on we gotta move on

Seemyshell (13:34.64)
There we go. We have to move on. May 24th, put this one in your calendar. You should have it in your calendar. It's Munstock, Munstock, May 24th. And we all know where that's gonna be in Morgantown, West Virginia. And then Rob, look at this. I found another one in June. What?

Rob (13:42.712)
Yeah.

Rob (13:52.398)
Look at that! I know. So, this is crazy. I love that this has popped up. This is something new for us. June 7th and 8th, Ohio is going to be hosting S .O .S. The Southwest Ohio Shenanigans. Like, what? Everybody usually comes up with the M's, know, the Munzee Mania, the Munzee Mecca, the Munzee Madness. But not these guys. They're like, nah, let's go away from the trend. S .O .S. So that's a cool little theme.

Seemyshell (13:58.907)
Mm -hmm.

Mm -hmm.

Mm.

Yeah, I know. Yeah.

Yes.

Seemyshell (14:18.422)
SOS Yep Mm -hmm. Yeah. Yeah, so guys get your calendars in now and of course these all this is on the calendar already So if you missed out on what we're talking about just go and research it yourself Have a look in the Munzee calendar and you will see everything you need to see Rob this week some big things have happened this week We're gonna talk firstly about the gardens obviously with Cup of Z

Rob (14:20.45)
Southwest Ohio Shenanigans. I love it, it's great.

Seemyshell (14:42.566)
coming into play now and more and more people are really enjoying it. They're deploying and they're creating gardens and more gardens are out there for everyone else to love and enjoy. What's new and happening with gardens now in the, for the Geo, Geocache, the Garden of the Month, the GLM, the Garden of the Month. What's happening with the Garden of the Month, Rob?

Rob (15:05.612)
Yeah, so Garden of the Month is changing up a little bit, mainly because Cup -A -Z Gardens has made our lives so much easier. So instead of us really running off of the old spreadsheets and everybody sending recommendations and that kind of thing, we're still going to look at some of those. However, why? Why do all of that work when Sam's built something that is so easy to use? So we're going to be looking at the completed gardens section of Cup -A -Z.

Seemyshell (15:09.242)
Mm

Seemyshell (15:13.167)
Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (15:19.003)
Mm

Seemyshell (15:27.216)
Yes.

Seemyshell (15:33.105)
Mm

Rob (15:33.186)
and going to be choosing winners from that location. The picture is already there. Like here's what the garden looks like. It's verified as completed. It is actively completed because Sam's tools are that good. So for it to make that list, everyone's got to finish building them. So I will tell you, well, by the time that everyone's listening to this, it's too late. We've already made the choices for the month of August.

Seemyshell (15:39.706)
Yeah, there you go.

Seemyshell (15:49.073)
Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (15:53.318)
Mm -hmm. Yep.

Yeah, yeah,

Rob (16:01.624)
but it is still okay to get other gardens completed. Maybe, you know, there'll be opportunities for those in September. Create nice looking gardens, everyone. Don't just build a garden that's a circle like I do. Like, make something that looks good. And the other piece of advice, now we haven't, we didn't really write a Munzee tip. You've already given one. I'm gonna give a side tip here, which is,

Seemyshell (16:01.798)
Okay.

Seemyshell (16:05.745)
Yes.

Seemyshell (16:09.636)
Well, yes, yes, attractive gardens.

Seemyshell (16:21.444)
Mm -hmm. No. Yeah. I'm going to give another one in a minute.

Rob (16:27.316)
Yeah, maybe it'll even match up because you and I read the same things on Discord, which is like don't just choose a random location and just go throw something, you know, this is a popular place. I'll just pick something and put it out there. There are some people who are pretty specific and pretty particular about their areas. It's nice to contact locals, find out, you know, would this be good? Would this be helpful? Also, if you're putting out designs,

Seemyshell (16:44.57)
Mm -hmm.

Rob (16:54.587)
The idea would be that people are in those locations for them to be capped. So, you know if you want it to be filled it's a good idea. well.

Seemyshell (16:58.778)
Yes, exactly. That wasn't my tip, Rob. And I knew you wouldn't have my tip because mine's about the design itself. And you you're a circle man. So my tip is this because you guys released a recent post in regards to what you're looking for for next month. And it's all talking about fantasy as well, like fantasy. So I've had a couple of people reach out to me, you know, on social media and say, look, Craig, I've never built a garden before. You know, can you give me a hand? Now the...

Rob (17:06.73)
Okay, I am indeed.

Rob (17:16.843)
yeah. Yeah.

Seemyshell (17:28.444)
Cuppa Z with the gardens have implemented whereby you can actually add a person as an editor as well, but their name doesn't go on the list of who developed it, which is awesome. So as I said before, a few weeks ago, I put my hand up and said, yep, if you need help, just add me and message me and chat from there. But my tip is this Rob, and that is if you're put a nice picture of sorts on there and utilize the upload feature for a picture, get rid of the background first, get rid of that white.

plain background. What that does, it literally halves the number of pins that you have to use. So instead of using, you know, 1500, 1600 pins, it's gonna bring it right down to the 600 pin mark if it's just the actual picture and not the background. So you don't have to fill in the whole screen. It's just the picture, whatever the picture might be. So there you go. That's my tip, Rob. Mm -hmm.

Rob (18:20.264)
That's fantastic. And for those of you who have absolutely no idea what that means or how to do it, that's why you should never add me, add Craig. While you're saying all of that, because I remember how we both threw each under the bus a couple of weeks ago with like, yeah, just add Craig. No, Rob. Zero people have added me. that means everyone out there is very wise. Do not add me. Don't.

Seemyshell (18:26.916)
Add me. Exactly.

Seemyshell (18:43.652)
Mm -hmm. Yeah. I've got two.

Rob (18:47.212)
Don't put me in as an editor on your garden. I will not be helpful. I am generally not good at them.

Seemyshell (18:54.524)
That's all right, that's all right. I've got two, so there's still place for, I've got eight more spots, remember? I called out 10, I did say 10, so I've got two at the moment, there you go. All right, Rob, moving on in regards to the new event packages that are coming out in September and October.

Rob (18:58.785)
Wow.

There you go.

Rob (19:08.974)
so excited about this because September has a Friday the 13th. So that's why we're kicking off the events on September 13th and they will run from September 13th through October 31st. taking that 13 reversing it, was like, man, we can just go with sort of a not so scary, you know, theme. So everything's sort of monster themed. Everything has, has

Seemyshell (19:11.12)
This looks cool.

Seemyshell (19:15.528)
yeah.

Seemyshell (19:19.834)
Mm

Seemyshell (19:30.105)
You

Rob (19:36.36)
kind of our year -long theme which has for events been all about cake, been all about you know baking, all those kinds of things. So yeah, so we've got the special event packages out there. Here's the details, they're all written on the blog. The main thing that you need to know is to get an event on the calendar and then that will start an email conversation with Louise where she can talk to you about what the package is, you can pay the invoice for it and then get started. So

Seemyshell (19:38.755)
Mm

Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (20:03.302)
Mm

Rob (20:06.702)
The package is $75. The host gets a choice of a badge and an icon and there is on the blog there are some options for people to see. You customize the badge with an event name and location so you go back and forth with blue on all that. Then you get 50 exclusive cupcake costume greeting cards and these things are really cool looking so they're going to be very unique. Everyone needs to get to an event, one of these special events.

Seemyshell (20:27.755)
Yeah. Mm -hmm. Mm -hmm.

Rob (20:34.4)
so that you can get these and your special icons having capped them. The event account is also gonna get six virtuals and two electric mysteries. so basically, yeah, so look at what's going on. able to basically build two. So let's say you don't have a massive event. Well, that's okay because if you've got six virtuals and two electric mysteries, then when they send out those scatters, then you can cap those six virtuals again, if you time it right.

Seemyshell (20:38.886)
Mm

Seemyshell (20:44.833)
traps, traps, traps. Yeah.

Seemyshell (20:58.64)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (21:02.221)
Exactly.

Rob (21:03.95)
So everybody pay attention to those. Should be a lot of fun. That's what we're thinking, especially with all of the August fun that we've had with the elemental competitions and all that. You get no proximity restrictions and that is obviously apart from the standard 100 foot pin rules for the event pin from one to the next. You also get a Cupcake Costume Party Host badge, which is given to up to four hosts, right? So this is also...

Seemyshell (21:13.859)
Mm

Seemyshell (21:22.545)
Mm

Seemyshell (21:29.185)
Mm -hmm.

Rob (21:33.006)
unique badge which is a lot of fun we get we got some really cool stuff in this one and guess what's back by popular demand the thing that makes me do the most work which is one emerald for all attendees however yeah so every attendee everyone that clicks that the event indicator pin or the badge I can't remember which one it is but whichever one yeah it triggers the one emerald

Seemyshell (21:34.192)
Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (21:38.63)
You

Hmm.

Seemyshell (21:47.26)
for attendees.

Seemyshell (21:53.58)
scans the event indicator. Yep. Both.

Rob (22:00.494)
If it gives you 50, obviously we're gonna remove and we'll fix it, but it should be okay. I think what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna build Emerald Gardens over the next couple of weeks. I'm gonna be looking at event locations for later this year and further out into next year, and I might be using some of those locations to build our new Emerald Gardens.

Seemyshell (22:01.242)
No, it's... Yep.

Seemyshell (22:10.33)
Mm -hmm. Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (22:18.512)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (22:24.324)
I wonder how an emerald in Uranus would look. There you go. All right, Rob, a quick question, a couple of those things as well. Firstly, you talk about no proximity restrictions. We're talking no proximity with the actual event pins, the flags, the physicals, that's right. And also in regards to the exclusive cupcake costume greeting cards. Rob, I have seen out there as well, and I've spoken to you about this personally, and that is...

Rob (22:26.99)
my gosh, it's sad.

Rob (22:40.588)
Right. Right.

Seemyshell (22:52.24)
people putting the cards out because they don't go live until the event goes live. People put the cards out directly over the event and therefore block the deploying of cards by others around the world. Is that correct? Yeah.

Rob (22:56.398)
You

Rob (23:03.926)
It's really annoying, isn't it? And the same thing will be true with those six virtuals and the two electric mysteries. So for those overanxious, really, really, really prepared event hosts who've done this for many, many years, don't forget the earlier you do those things, the more likely you are to block all the other players. So the virtuals and the cards, you're, you're hurting yourself as all you're doing. Right. So for those virtual things.

Seemyshell (23:09.744)
Yes.

Mm hmm.

Seemyshell (23:23.46)
All the others. That's right. And by blocking other players. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (23:33.55)
Do them the day before. Do them less than 24. Just a little tiny bit of advice because we are not going to be changing that.

Seemyshell (23:37.755)
Yes.

Yeah, yeah. Or, or do it, do it in just offset from the area. So people can, if you want to go to the other, another area, like another park for instance, or even just follow, or maybe even follow around the pins, that sort of thing. The, the event pins. Mm -hmm. Yeah, no, not that far. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Rob (23:54.722)
Now that makes sense. They're supposed to be in the general area, so putting them a mile away probably against the rules. Keep them near. Just don't put them out until the day before because it give everyone around the world a chance to give you points with deploys. And then you put on top of those. It's okay. Very good.

Seemyshell (24:04.432)
Keep them near.

Seemyshell (24:08.602)
Yes. Everyone else a chance. And then you fill the holes, you fill the holes. So there you go.

Yes, yeah, so they can put on top of other pins, but pins can't be put on top of them. So there we go. see, that's a good tip, Rob. All right, Rob, what else is happening now this week? Because I've seen on the water coolers, again, on the water cooler, people, I haven't got my scatter points. What are they doing now?

Rob (24:22.328)
Correct.

Thank you.

Rob (24:29.496)
So.

Rob (24:34.382)
Aren't they fun? So so here's what's going on right now already live Thursday through Sunday bonus scatter event So the and on top of that, there's also a double distance with Rover treats so in other words Anything that scatters will be sending out a plus one for this weekend. So those electric charges there's not going to be the one to three there's going to be

Seemyshell (24:45.958)
Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (24:50.191)
Rob (25:03.352)
two to four so it's going to add one to the top number so if aphrodite let's say sends out two scatters nope now it's going to be three that kind of thing so it's all the things that scatter all right there aren't any more flat scatters we're done with that so it's unfortunate done with the flat scatters we we did we did not only two but we did three events so don't forget yeah we had the the first one the flat disc golf

Seemyshell (25:04.496)
to four.

Mm

Seemyshell (25:14.108)
three.

Seemyshell (25:21.409)
they're done with the flat scatters. So no more flat scatters. there you go, You're free. Yeah.

Rob (25:32.204)
basket scatters we had flat loo that ran for an entire week what and flat rums on top of that so if everyone missed out on those I'm really sorry but too late like your time has ended so anyway you've got that and on top of that we're gonna let Rover do a little bit of extra work you know it's coming out of the summer in the northern hemisphere needs a little more of a workout and so

Seemyshell (25:32.443)
Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (25:35.957)
WAKE!

Seemyshell (25:39.736)
Yeah. Yeah.

Seemyshell (25:44.856)
Mm -hmm. Yeah, there you go. There you go. Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (25:59.32)
Mm -hmm. Yeah, he does.

Rob (26:02.222)
He will go and he will fetch all the way out to 1 ,200 feet, which is approximately 400 meters. And that's only with the treat. You must have a rover on you and you must also have the treats in order to use those. Yep.

Seemyshell (26:08.868)
Mm -hmm. Yeah.

Yep. The treats as well. There you go. There you go. Very good, mate. Very good. All right. We're to move on now, Rob, because time is getting ahead of us as always. I'm moving on to the question of the week. Now this question of the week comes from Hailmeister. Yes, Hailmeister. Hailmeister, I know. He's a big co -exister himself. He won't advertise the fact, but he is. All right. He asked this.

Rob (26:30.092)
Hail Meister.

Rob (26:37.794)
You

Seemyshell (26:39.152)
He said, Rob, we have capture boosters, we have deploy boosters, we even have radius boosters now as well. Has there been any thought about a cap on points booster that you could activate when you know you have a good chance of getting a lot of cap on points? There you go, a cap on booster.

Rob (26:56.056)
This is the first time this has been mentioned to my knowledge. We've never talked about this within our team. So here's the thing. I recognize that name, this HaleMeister character, because I believe he is a character. Here's the deal that I'll make. If he makes a Munzee video, I'll fast track like this idea, because it's a good idea. I do like it. I think this is fun.

Seemyshell (26:59.28)
Mm

Mm

Seemyshell (27:06.012)
Mm -hmm. Mm -hmm.

Yeah.

Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (27:19.094)
yeah.

Rob (27:23.054)
It's gonna, it would take us a little bit. So let's call it a thousand hours, right? but without a video from hail Meister, it feels like a 2025 idea. so, you know, Hey, anybody out there, if you know, hail Meister and you watch all of his videos about that other game, then why not just, you know, put a little pressure because this sounds like a good thing for everyone around the world. And I am talking about an actual video, not a Munzee monthly moments because what's odd is he

Seemyshell (27:25.55)
Yes. Yeah, yeah.

Seemyshell (27:34.7)
Mm hmm.

Yeah.

Seemyshell (27:44.422)
Yeah.

Seemyshell (27:50.652)
he does those, he does those. Cause he does like, you know why he does them Rob? Because he enjoys the rewards that they give. That's why.

Rob (27:51.564)
He puts out Munzey Monthly Moments videos. Hmm.

Rob (27:59.175)
well I'm gonna give him more rewards if he'll put out a video about Munzee and maybe even just suggesting this as part of his video. mean Mr. Bill Goes Munzee just just just try it just see what happens see who promotes it. Yeah. Good point.

Seemyshell (28:10.498)
yeah, yeah, exactly. I don't know how Mr. Bill would hold a phone. I don't know how Mr. Bill would hold a phone. But speaking of Mr. Bill, Rob, I actually built a Mr. Bill garden in his town for him on Cup of Z. So people go to Cup of Z, have a look at Gardens All, because it's all the way down the list. Have a look at Gardens All and you'll see a Mr. Bill garden where Hailmeister lives. Yes.

Rob (28:31.434)
And I deployed in it. All they have to do is just search, see my shelf. They can find all of your gardens, right? And then they can find Mr. There you go. Wednesday tip of the week.

Seemyshell (28:37.456)
That's true. good idea. Yeah. Good idea. Good idea. There you go. Hail Meister, Hail Meister, Hail Meister. Finger out and get that video in mate by the looks of it, because I'm telling you now it's a good idea. And I think a lot of people actually enjoy that idea. So there you go. This question or request Rob comes from Bizwick at the recent farm event I was at. This is in person. She asked me in person. I had to get out my phone and put this in my notes. And that is Rob.

Rob (29:01.676)
Mmm. Nice.

Seemyshell (29:05.892)
Speaking of the gardens in Cuppa Z, is there a way that we can filter to see all the beautiful Munzee gardens, even after we've capped it or deployed in them, because they would like to see the actual full photo itself, like on the map with all the colors, not just the grayed out, not just the red ticks. Is there any way that we can have a filter of some sorts in regards to showing the gardens after we've completed them? So basically, Rob, for me personally, what I would do, I'd do a screen cap.

of everything capped already. So all the red ticks and all the gray bits, whatever. And then I would click the filter back to like the beautiful picture that it is, and they'll do another screen cap and then do a side by side Instagram post for instance, you know, and that sort of thing and say, look what I just capped. Cause that's what I did with geo art as well. We can do that with geo art too. So there you go. How's that? That's a good idea.

Rob (29:38.626)
Mm

Rob (29:48.398)
Yeah.

Rob (29:53.742)
All right, that makes sense. I like the idea, I like the request. This is not something that will happen in the app for a really, really, really long time because there are so many other gameplay improvements, quality of life, stuff like that to make happen. However, good idea, I would say, Cup of Z Gardens, that's your place to go and keep track of all the cool stuff. If you deploy in those gardens, then you can obviously see those.

Seemyshell (30:00.158)
Mm

Seemyshell (30:04.571)
Mm.

Seemyshell (30:09.328)
Mm

Seemyshell (30:19.774)
Mm

Rob (30:22.858)
because there's a little check for you having deployed. But yeah, at this point in time, you've got to get creative with other ways of doing it, which you've just suggested one.

Seemyshell (30:25.904)
Mm -hmm.

Seemyshell (30:32.474)
Yeah, through a couple of Z gardens. Exactly. Very good idea. And we're going to end today's episode, Rob, with a Munzee tip of the week. This tip should be helpful for other people out there as well. And especially when it comes to either secret Z ops or clan wars, when it comes to capping greenies on the daily. And that is why not deploy greenies like in your local supermarket area, your local target parking lot, et cetera, where, instance, you know, someone like me who shops a lot,

I go there, I park right next to the greenie and I can guarantee I get out of the car, cap the greenie and then go in and I'm not doing anything different to my everyday life in regards to supermarkets and targets and that sort of thing. deploy greenies, deploy greenies in high related areas like supermarkets and that sort of thing as well. So there you go, Rob, what do think about that one?

Rob (31:20.906)
And that makes sense. The worldwide view on that one over here in the UK, obviously walking from here to the supermarket. It totally makes sense that you would be, you know, walking. Here's some greenies. if other people do the same thing, you know, then yeah, everyone's got it. Makes sense.

Seemyshell (31:24.708)
Mm -hmm. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah, that's right.

Seemyshell (31:39.593)
Exactly. That's the tip of the week. So Rob, that ends another official Muncie podcast.

Rob (31:45.294)

Seemyshell (32:00.976)
So keep scanning, keep discovering, keep that Munzey spirit live from one, two, three, Munzey in Uranus. sorry, there you go.

Rob (32:05.078)
Munzeon! my gosh.

Seemyshell (32:14.156)
Ha ha.
