Deanna Bowman is a writer for the Special Operations Association of America based in Washington D.C. She writes social media posts, blogs, letters to Congress, reports, grants, and more to support and advocate for special operators and their families, including Green Berets, Navy SEALs, Marine Raiders, Army Rangers, and others.

Deanna also does contract work for a new nonprofit organization that aims to support veterans and their families through canine and equine therapy and other means. Prior to this, she worked for 11 years at Indiana Wesleyan University in various positions and ended up as a Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives.

Deann is very active in her church, where for the past 14 years she has been a worship leader. 

Deanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Indiana Wesleyan University, which she earned in 2010.

Deanna is married to Evan Bowman, a farmer, and they have two cats. They reside in Wabash, IN.
