Matt Scogin has been the President of Hope College in Holland, MI since 2019. Before returning to his alma mater to lead it into its next chapter,  he held several leadership positions in various fields. He was the Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer at Perella Weinberg Partners from 2014 to 2019, Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff at NYSE Euronext from 2009 to 2014, and various roles at Wachovia Bank / Wells Fargo and the US Department of Treasury.

Matt graduated from Hope College in 2002 with a BA in Economics and Political Science, and he later earned a Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in Business and Government Policy from Harvard Kennedy School in 2005.

Matt is married to Sarah, also a 2002 graduate of Hope College. They have three children named Sophie, Lucy, and Oliver.
