Sarah Mac:

We have been going deep into soulmate client attraction. So if you're listening to this and you haven't listened to the prior four trainings, skip back and go and listen to those bad boys, because they are juicy. I shared. Okay. So we've gone deep into the mindset the mindset that really makes a difference when it comes to making more money and being more of a magnet to ideal clients. We've gone into your chiron placement and why I'm so obsessed with looking at this area of your chart and it gives you so many gold nuggets to work with to really get to that next level of depth and authenticity in your messaging that really just makes you stand out over and above all the noise online, so that your soulmate clients can see you and recognize you. This is really what this conversation is all about is about you being seen and being seen for who you really are and all of those gold gems and nuggets that you know you embody just by being you and everything that you've walked through.

Sarah Mac:

Then, part three, I shared my messaging tweaks to really speak to the clients who are actually going to buy your offer, no matter how much you're charging if you're, you know, charging into the five figures or just a few thousand, wherever you are, with your price point. These are the things you need to know in order to be attracting those clients who are serious, who are going to be the perfect match for you and who are going to show up and do the work and get amazing results and help you to grow your impact and your business and your legacy. From all of this, you know love and effort and time that you're putting into your work. These are the people we want to call in. And then in the previous training, in part four, I shared some really really powerful content prompts to point you in the right direction, to help you get to those layers of clarity in your storytelling that really make the difference between somebody buying and somebody not buying. So these are all really important steps and today we're going to dive into the three things your soulmate client needs to hear from you consistently in your message to really feel confident and excited to buy your offer.

Sarah Mac:

So if you're not doing these three things, it is the reason you're not making sales. Reason number one you have to be talking about their top desire, and this can be like one to three main desires, but for every single offer you sell, you have to be. This is the like one to three main desires, but for every single offer you sell, you have to be. This is the messaging work to do for anything that you're selling. It doesn't matter if you're selling a $20 workshop or you're selling a $20,000 like private mentorship. You have to know what these things are. You have to have done that work, not only to just be like taking a stab in the dark at some vague things that you think your client wants like. You have to know in depth what your soulmate client, based on all of this lovely work that we've been doing so far, you know really getting that clarity on who you are here for. Who is that person that's really going to make the most out of working with you? And you need to be uncomfortably repetitive about these top desires. And you know, if these aren't landing with people, if people aren't raising their hand and being like, oh my god, yes, I want that, if they're not reading your copy and in their head going, yes, I want that, yes, I want that, yes, I want that, then you need to get back to the drawing board and do your research and actually get out there and speak to more of your ideal clients until you feel so clear that you're speaking to their genuine desires. So that's number one speak to their top desires, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. These are the things that you want to be mentioning over and over and over again in all of your posts. The next thing is your story. I'm just going to keep saying this until I'm blue in the face. But obviously, their desires and from point number one, these are really the anchor point for your storytelling. So that's going to help you.

Sarah Mac:

Once you know what those clear desires are of your client, tell your story about those specific things and just like, stop what you're doing right now and please listen to me and please hear me when I say this do not leave out your story in anything that you create, because your story is the part of every single piece of content. That is the thing that's going to be making sales for you, and you will be surprised how many people I work with that they're like, oh, I'm just gonna like throw this piece of content together, even after all the work we've done, and somehow their brain has been like, oh, but it's scary to talk about me, so I'm just gonna leave out my story on this piece of content, because the rest of the content I've written is so great and like really on point, really speaking to their desires, a really powerful sales pitch, so like this is enough. No, no, no, no, no. The story is the thing that sells.

Sarah Mac:

So, even if you're in that phase of your copywriting journey where it's hard for you to like boil it down and to really create those succinct bios that are, you know, really speaking to those top desires, really establishing trust and credibility with your soulmate client. That's okay. It's better for you to write a long ass personal story that's squillions of words than to leave one out, because you know and I read so many people's content I've worked with more than a thousand clients at this point and it never gets boring like it gets fucking boring hearing the same personal development cliches over and over and over again. That could have been written by any old Tom, dick and Harry on the internet. But what's never boring are people's real lives, like your real life is the reason why people are here and the reason why people are reading and the reason why people are reaching out to you and the reason why people are paying you thousands and thousands of dollars because of who you are. So, okay, thank you for coming to my TED Talk Like, tattoo this on your hand and I promise you'll be making more money.

Sarah Mac:

So anything like, obviously, most importantly, your sales page, then any post, any masterclass, any pitch on your stories. Share your story, repeat, repeat, repeat your shiny results. And this is you know your way of showing them how to do what they want to do because you have done it, and if you're selling something that you haven't done, then you're out of integrity and you need to change what you're selling. So you know you have to be so anchored in your own story, in your shiny results, in the best things that you've created that your client truly desires, and be freaking proud of them and shout them from the rooftops, because that's truly what allows your sole clients to believe that what they desire is possible. And the more they hear this from you, the more it becomes possible for them, because that's what we need, right? We need these stories. We need repetition that what we desire is possible, because the more times we hear it, the more our brain believes that it's possible, the more likely we are to take action and make the moves and hire the mentor and actually make our dreams come true. So remember this you are the embodiment of the result that they desire. They clearly need to know this before they're going to have any shred of confidence that they want to buy from you and that you can actually help them. And then, finally, the other thing that you know really just like pushes people over the edge to buy from you is having a really clear picture of what it's actually like to work with you.

Sarah Mac:

You know we're in a different time on the internet in the coaching industry right now, it's very different from when I started in 2015. Buyers are way more savvy. They're way more sceptical about being sold a dream and then getting into a container and then regretting it because they didn't actually learn anything. People need more information these days. They need to know like what it looks like to be supported by you, how you actually deliver your expertise. You know how you've designed your offers and what the experience is going to be like. Because you know, once they have that information, the right people who really resonate with that and who vibe with that. That's just going to stoke their desire even more and the people who aren't resonant with the way that you do things. That's going to repel them and then you're going to sidestep, you know, any type of buyer's remorse or just like unfit relationships, which is only going to contribute to better results for your clients and more joy and fulfillment for you and your business.

Sarah Mac:

So be clear and specific. You know like describe line by line, word by word, what happened in your client session. What questions did they ask? How did you support them? What was the outcome of that? You know what were the ripple effects of that. How did your clients implement? What results did they they create? How are you delivering things? You know make sure, with every offer, different style of teaching or delivering. You're so, so clear on what the experience inside that program is going to be like and the more your marketing can accurately give people this experience through. You know, if you teach through video, do live streams that are just like your videos, if you like. You know, like I'm doing.

Sarah Mac:

When I launched this program, this training series, live, I have been running a free mini mind inside voxer because that's, you know, primarily how I'm working with clients right now is inside voxer, so I wanted to give that experience. I love to support people through voice memos and to be able to answer day-to-day, you know, immediate questions and things that are coming, and so I decided to give that experience as a part of the launch of this free series. So the more you can think about ways to bring in the way you're actually delivering your paid content into your marketing and your content events and your launch strategy, the more likely people are going to just, you know, have all the information they need to confidently say yes to buying your offer. So let me show you another little case study with you from my own business. So this was like, not that far into my business, like a couple years I think, I'd already, you know, I'd already got to six figures and I decided to launch a new program called the six figure creative which, funnily enough, is actually going to be the title of my book because this program never took off and I'm going to tell you why. So you know, clearly I was doing like I knew how to sell programs, right, I'd already got to six figures through organic social media content marketing, like I knew how to share my story, I knew how to sell and fill high ticket offers.

Sarah Mac:

But I went through just like a bit of a wonky phase in my life where I was experiencing a lot of stress in my personal life and things kind of went wonky in my business. Anyway, I created this offer I think this was the first offer I launched that just sold nothing. I had one person sign up for a clarity call and was like yeah, I'm going to join, and then then they ghosted me. I had a bunch of calls of people signing up who were like yeah, this sounds really great, but like no, I'm not gonna pay you the money. Like I'm prioritizing my money on other things right now. So, even though I was leading with the result you know I was I want to help creative people to make six figures, because you know that's what I've done. That's who I want to focus on helping I was actually sharing a lot of kind of waffly content on, like following your dreams and making money as a creative.

Sarah Mac:

And after this failed launch where I made zero dollars and it was really stressful and a horrible experience having getting on all of those sales calls and just having no after no, after no, except for that one woman who ghosted me which I don't know, which is worse, to be honest with you. But you know I was like, okay, like what the fuck are you doing, sarah? You know how to sell and create offers. Like let's get back down to the drawing board. And I was like I need to master my craft at the next level. I need to know exactly what I was doing and what I wasn't doing that works and what makes it not work. Like clearly my mindset had got in the way and I had got sloppy and, for whatever reason, it just I like invested in all these programs.

Sarah Mac:

I went really deep on content, strategy and funny story. I created a new offer and I relaunched it without even thinking about this prior offer. But when I actually went back and compared the two sales pages that I'd written, I was like, oh my God, this is the exact same offer. And I hadn't thought in my head, oh, I just need to reposition this offer and launch it again. You know, I really just went back to the drawing board, started from scratch, designed a new offer which you know just showed me that, like you know, trust our desires, like trust the work that wants to come through you. It's meant to come through you and it will keep trying until you get it right.

Sarah Mac:

So I did that work, really positioned my offer, really like with detail and in thought. I really defined my process based on the granular detail of my embodied experience and work. I translated that into super juicy copy work. I translated that into super juicy copy and I relaunched it first as a one-on-one, because I always recommend this right until you have a proven message and a proven like messaging strategy and content strategy. Like don't go and launch a big group program where everything is hanging on this one program and this one launch and this one launch date. When you're selling one-on-one, you can sign a client today, you can sign a client next week it's much higher payment and then you get that proof that your messaging is landing. And then you continue to tweak it and refine it. And then you know, once you're confident that this is landing and it's working, then go and launch a group program, even though you know I started my business also launching group coaching programs. So there's no right or wrong way. But you know this is just what I recommend.

Sarah Mac:

So I sold this program a few times as a one-on-one. I think I was selling it at around 3k for a three-month program. And then once I'd, you know, I got that proven concept, I had the sales page done, I had all this promotional copy for the one-on-one. So I literally just took all of that copy and I relaunched it as a group program where I was actually traveling. I was on vacation during that launch in California, which is where I now live, but I was in New York at the time and I would just take a picture when I was on holiday. I would just take a picture when I was on holiday. You know I pulled from my content vault from my previous launch copy.

Sarah Mac:

Switch up the call to action so it was no longer a one-on-one program and it was for my group program launch and I had 10 people sign up. I also that month had I a pay in full one-on-one client at 16k and so that was my highest month ever. It was a 24k month and I was camping in Joshua Tree and road tripping around Cali and it just goes to show the power of aligned messaging that works. I wasn't even doing any crazy launch event. I didn't do a single sales call like I had.

Sarah Mac:

Just, I had a proven concept. I had a clear message. I'd been repetitive as fuck with it over, you know, several months prior to that launch, as I'd been launching it as a one-on-one program and, most importantly, done that work to really develop my offer, positioning the title, the tagline, the selling points, the top desires of my client. I showed how every single aspect of that offer was going to help them, using these copywriting techniques to connect them, you know, connect my offer to their desires. So clearly, so explicitly. This was my tell stories, that sell program and you know that sales page I've used to make tens of thousands of dollars and I relaunched it over and over again. I relaunched it as a passive course, many times, all using the same message that I developed at the very beginning of that offer, and I ran it for several years. I still sell it now as a passive product.

Sarah Mac:

So this just goes to show the value of really doing that work when you're launching your offer, to make sure it's so clear how your work helps people, who you are and why people should trust you to help them, which is all made clear through your story. So I hope you've received my message, loud and clear, of the true, invaluable value of your story and who you are and you know really understanding how to tell it through that strategic lens that's very targeted on a very specific type of client. This is really the work that when you continue to refine, you continue to really get good at this skill and to be repetitively good at this skill. That's really what it takes to be consistently signing clients at really any amount, any amount that you desire to sell. That, you know, is an alignment for you and your audience and the offer that you're creating. So if you're wondering what is your most profitable offer and the angles of your story and you know how, you know when you've landed on it, or if you would like some support in developing the pricing strategy for your ideal client, or to define your content topics to turn them into content that's consistently producing sales for you. While they're traveling Europe, while they're working on their next book, they've had their first ever six figure high ticket group program launch. They've seven their first ever six-figure high ticket group program launch. They've seven times their program launch revenue and created really feel-good, repeatable, sustainable systems to continue to launch and relaunch and fill their offer month after month in their business. I've even had clients start signing dream soulmate clients even before they've hit publish on a single piece of marketing content, simply from the clarity and the confidence that they access from our work on their offer. So they know how to recognize a soulmate client when they meet one and how to authentically have sales conversations that come naturally and lead to sales of thousands of dollars.
