Here from withsarahmackcom and for today's episode, I've decided to share with you the training that I just gave as a part of my Mercury Money free series, where I talk about harnessing the energies of Mercury Retrograde for reviewing and refining and improving your high ticket sales. So this episode will be training number two of a three-part series. I definitely recommend going and listening to training number one, where I go more in depth into how to refine your offer, as well as really understanding the energy and the process of refinement that's such a potent way to use the time period of Mercury retrograde. I'll drop the link in the description so you can go and access that, plus day three, which will be more on the sales process. But for now, I know you're going to love this excerpt that I'm going to share with you. That has some really, really powerful nuggets on refining your messaging. That, I know, is going to help you make more money thanks to this powerful Mercury retrograde. And remember, these are processes that you can use anytime. We have a Mercury retrograde, which we have the one we're in right now. We still have another week or so because they're like three or four weeks long and they happen three or four times a year. Hi, welcome to day two of Mercury Money, and this is the second part of a three part series, so excited. If you didn't already check out day one, go and check that out. It was epic. We talked about refining your offer really, really simple ways that you can make tweaks to your offer so that it sells better. And today we're going to dive into some simple but really, really important and absolutely non-negotiable shifts that really are constantly required in your messaging. So this training is going to make you so much freaking money when you get good at applying this. I'm so excited to share it with you. No, like, I'm 10 years into this. I've worked with thousands of clients, I've made hundreds of thousands of dollars through my organic storytelling online, and I still have to train and fine tune and hone what I am sharing with you Because, like we were talking about yesterday, in the spirit of Mercury retrograde, this is all about a refining.

Speaker 1:

We are always growing, we are always evolving, so is the market, so are our clients, and it's very easy to be like oh yeah, I know this, I know this and to kind of get a bit slapdash, especially with the volume of content that we are expected to create as content creators these days, it's easy to get sloppy. It's easy to get sloppy, and the more honed in you can get on what I'm about to share with you, the more sales you're going to make. So if you're interested in making more money and you don't want to let mercury retrograde stop you, this is the place to be. As we know, mercury is all about reviewing and refining, so this is the perfect time to be doing this kind of work and really running a fine tooth comb through your offer language, your sales pages, your emails, your posts, your content, and actually taking a good hard look at what you're actually putting out there, because sometimes we're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, you know I've heard this so many times. I know I'm going to be specific in my copywriting, I know I've got to share my stories, blah, blah, blah. I know I've got to speak to where my ideal client is, but are you actually doing it? This is the question, right, and I'm going to give you an exercise to actually get some intel on that for yourself today.

Speaker 1:

It's an ongoing process, like any profession, right? You want to be good at it and you want to continue to be good at it. We have to practice. We have to be the things that you want to be good at consistently. You have to do them every day and honestly.

Speaker 1:

You hear people preach consistency and content and you know absolutely like, yes, quality over quantity, but quantity is important on social media. If you just post once a week, you're probably not going to be making as many client sales as if you're posting multiple times a week. And we all have seen our engagement dip when we post less. And yes, we want to be building trust with people. So we, you know, whenever you want to nurture a relationship, the number one prerequisite is presence. Right, it's actually showing up for those people. Showing up every day is going to fast track those relationships. But, honestly, the main, main, main benefit of consistency is the more you do something, the better you get at it. And that's really where you get to that skill level of I can crank out a post in 15 minutes and it can make me thousands and thousands of dollars. It's like, if that's where you want to be as a content creator, there's really absolutely no excuse for not doing content every day. I'm just going to say it. You know I don't create content on the weekend. I take time to recharge, but every day, monday to Friday, I'm posting because I want to, I want to reach my goals and I want to grow my income and my impact.

Speaker 1:

So we shifted our offer and, like I said, anytime a shift happens in your offer, a shift is going to happen in your messaging. So this is something that you always want to come back to and review and I'm going to break it down into two simple ideas to focus on in your messaging. So we've got macro and we've got micro. Macro is like high level main concept that you want to be super, super, super clear on what is the story that you're telling about your offer. And then micro is like more of the detailed stories that give your audience and your clients specific information about you and about your offer and about your work. So the first question you want to ask is is my macro result clear? Because when we're talking about selling a high ticket offer, the most important piece of our messaging is the result. Is the result clear? Because people aren't just going to give you thousands of dollars to like hang out with you for a bit. They want, they're investing in a result. That's the reason why they're paying you. So what is the transformation that you're selling? And the best way to get to this piece of storytelling for yourself is to ask yourself what is the best thing that has happened in your own life as a result of your work and are you clear on your signature story of transformation for your offer.

Speaker 1:

So I know a lot of people who come into my world are generators, manifesting generators, multi-passionate creatives. Right, we don't like to be put in a box, we don't like to feel like we have to niche and be like this is all I am and this is all I'm ever going to talk about, forever and ever and ever. But the key to being multifaceted and to allow ourselves growth and evolution and fun and adventure and exploration and, you know, expansion in our business is to get really good at specific offers. Like you don't just have to teach, like I don't just teach money mindset, I don't just teach content strategy, I don't just teach astrology not that there's anything wrong with just doing one of those things, but I can't not do all of them right. We know that feeling. You're like I really want to do this, but I also really want to do this and I also want to do it all, and I'm sure you know the feeling right.

Speaker 1:

But the way you make money from your multifaceted skills is by making sure that you're selling a really clear result and transformation for one offer and you can launch different things at different times. You can share everything that you have to share with people, but you cannot do it all at the same time. And you can do it all in the same offer, but you can't put it all in your messaging for that offer. So when we're selling our work, we don't need to put every single thing about how multifaceted we are and how much value we bring, and all of the in-depth conversations that we're going to be having with our clients once they're inside our world. Our marketing has to be focused on the cream at the top the thickest, most nutrient, dense, delicious, if you like the cream, tasty like heavy hitting aspects of your story and your work, because we don't have all day with our clients until they come into our containers, even though we don't have all day.

Speaker 1:

So this is about being super strategic in our impact and in our brand messaging so that we're really leading with what is going to get the attention of the people who we can help. If you want to help with this, if you want a quick hit, help with this. This is what my Cosmic Brand Story Intensive is for is to write your sales page together, get super clear on this, messaging so and set you up with your content pillars and your launch strategy so you know exactly what you're talking about to sell this offer that you're currently focused on enrolling clients into, because when you're leading with the wrong message, it can either attract the wrong people or it's not going to make you any sales, right? Yeah, everyone has a hard time with this. I still, to this day, like I'm always working with a coach on my messaging, because we're so close to ourselves and we're always and we all have that um, the blinders on our value, you know, and every single client that comes into me I'm like, oh yeah, like you you're focused on going over here, which is amazing, and like you can go over here with your client work, but let's not forget about all of this cool stuff that you've done, that you're bringing with you to your expertise in your client work that makes it so much easier to sell high ticket. We do this all the time.

Speaker 1:

So I'll give you an example from the evolution of my offer most recently. From the evolution of my offer most recently, my signature story was how content strategy took me from a flopped launch to having my biggest month ever a $24,000 a month filling a high ticket group program. While I was on vacation in California, camping in Joshua Tree. I was actually using repurpose content. It was like one of the easiest launches of my entire freaking life. 10 people signed up to my group program $1,000 each. I signed a one-on-one client and it totaled $24,000. And this was after launching the same offer, having a flop launch, really dialing in my content strategy, my messaging and my storytelling, and then having a really successful launch and my one-on-one program used to be called sign your next high ticket client. So you can see how that title is like does exactly what it says on the tin. I want people who want to sign their next high ticket client, who want to learn content strategy, so that not only can they sign their next high ticket client, but then they have the skills and the tools who can continue to do that consistently.

Speaker 1:

And then I started bringing the astrology more to the forefront in of my work and I shifted my signature story for the offer to what this doing. The astrology work has changed for me in my business and what that shift has been is just a shift to ease even easier sales from even more aligned clients, completely dropping sales calls and making five-figure sales from clients signing up through filling in an application form, sending them the link and them signing up and that ease of sales and also just having like real, just like a whole other level of enjoyment and compatibility with the people that my messaging and my storytelling has been attracting, which also leads to the ease of work right when that soulmate client compatibility is there. It actually brings out the highest level of the gift that you have to bring. This is why I always tell people clarity around your work is only going to come through working with soulmate clients. So the fastest path for you to be doing that is the fastest path for you to be like oh, this is my zone of genius, these are my gifts and obviously looking at your astrology chart can give you a real shortcut to that.

Speaker 1:

So this came from for me, authentic storytelling and my alignment with my astrology chart in my content strategy and my business on multiple levels. Because when I understood the parts of my chart that showed me how I was meant to serve and make money, I fully trusted that gut feeling that I was having to launch the kinds of offers I really wanted to sell when my chart clearly revealed to me the parts of my story that I had been really feeling the intuitive nudge to talk about in my past but was actually scared to talk about. I felt more confident to share my truth and it turned into major reasons why clients wanted to hire me. And specifically, I started talking about childhood sexual trauma and how I had been building my business while healing from complex PTSD. I'd really been doubting talk about it for many obvious reasons. Right, it's edgy and it's going to impact the people in my personal life as well as like who knows what that could open me up to. Right, it's like a very vulnerable topic. But then in my chart I saw my Saturn in Scorpio in the third house and Pluto in Scorpio in the second house and I was like, oh, I meant to talk about this. Like there's a reason why and it just like all of the dots clicked Healing and working through my childhood trauma was directly related to healing and improving my relationship with money, which Venus in 10th house in cancer, is exactly what I help my clients with.

Speaker 1:

And even though I'm not a trauma healing specialist and I'm not directly working with people on their trauma, this is has just been a really powerful story for me to attract people who wanted to improve their relationship with money through their business. And as I became more transparent with my own experience around all of this. It built trust with people that I could really help them, whether or not they'd had the exact same experiences as me or not. People resonate with different parts of our experience for different reasons, and so, number one people could see that if I can create the results I've created while going through these like really intense health and emotional well-being challenges, it became proof that other people can do that too. Number two you know many of my clients are in similar positions of turning their painful growth experiences into the work that they do to help others through their business. So I have demonstrated that I'm the perfect person to help with that because I'm doing it myself.

Speaker 1:

So, whatever people's stories are, there's, you know, in sharing the parts of ourself that we're feeling called to share that are relevant to our work and the things that we help our clients with, it creates these points of resonance for people where they're like, oh like. I can get enough information about who she is and how she's been doing things. That shows me that we're compatible, even if the stories are either a little bit different or very different. This is the power of that specificity in storytelling, particularly when it comes to breaking taboos, culturally sensitive topics, overcoming oppression, which is a very specific experience that so many of us are here to trail blaze through in our work and in our businesses, and which is why we're called to doing this work in the first place. So our stories, our stories are important. In the telling of our stories. It changes the culture and this is, you know, a big part of the driving force behind my business in the first place and behind my content strategy and why I chose to do my business in this way, through a personal brand.

Speaker 1:

When I came to understand my chart, I stopped overthinking my offers and my ideal client. I stopped holding back in my content and that's what led to sales becoming a whole lot easier. It is that authenticity and that confidence and conviction and power that makes the sales easier. It's not about being the perfect thing that's on trend, that's working right now, that's proven, that everyone else is talking about on the internet. No, it's about you doing you with the most power, conviction and confidence as possible. That's really what makes you become a lighthouse to people who are a match for who you are right now in this phase of evolution in your business. You are right now in this phase of evolution in your business. So this caused my client relationships to massively up level even more, which made my work even more enjoyable, even more rewarding, brought even more of my zone of genius out, where I was able to help clients even more deeply, and my clients results started skyrocketing.

Speaker 1:

Seeing my unique gifts in my astrology chart really propelled me back to trust my intuitive ideas and get really good at creating irresistible offers and powerful sales content that attracted people who were as committed to their transformation as you have been. So it's important that we tell our stories from that perspective and that we honor those parts of us that brought that level of commitment to create the transformation right. This isn't about sugarcoating it, and you know, I really stopped listening to that whiny inner voice that was telling me no one would want to hire me when they could hire all the other amazing mentors out there, because I felt so committed and connected to my message and selling the offers that I was excited about. So my chart helped me clearly see the skill gap that I am destined to fill for my soulmate clients, along with the parts of my own personal growth that were most important to feature in my brand storytelling. I had to learn how to translate my offer into a message that spoke specifically to that soulmate client in all of my social media to consistently attract them into my offer, and this led to dreamy clients popping up in my inbox being like, hey, I'm ready to join your offer, here's my money. I want to sign up. I know that I want to work with you and asking to buy my you know, three, five, 10k and up offers.

Speaker 1:

So do I think everybody has to talk about their childhood trauma in their messaging? Absolutely not, but a lot, of, a lot of healers. You know a lot of us if it. This is like how some of the work that brought us to the skills and the gifts that we're now supporting our clients with. It doesn't mean you have to talk about it or it has to be a part of your work. This is about really owning the true power in your story, and what you've walked through and your chart will tell us what the most powerful and aligned parts of your story are to be talking about to deeply attract compatible clients that will want to work with you over anyone else because of that compatibility.

Speaker 1:

So let's get into your micro stories. These are the parts of your stories that paint a clear picture of how your work actually helps them day to day. So we've got this big macro result right. You have to know that, your big shiny thing that has truly benefited you in your life. That is the reason why people are going to pay you, because that's a true burning desire for them, and your micro stories reveal the specific ways that you do this that make you and your work unique. So for me, my macro is booking out your high ticket offer through authentic storytelling and astrology signing soulmate clients, really aligned clients. Five figure months, the launches, six figure years. Those are the big results, right, those are the big shiny results that I lead with and the micro results.

Speaker 1:

For me, the more specific things that I talk about, like inside of my containers with my clients, are no sales calls, like the application form process simple, sustainable, fun content strategy. Designing a freebie that fills your audience with clients for your high ticket offer. Developing content topics based on your astrology. Writing the hooks, captions, emails, subjects, titles, taglines, key benefit statements. Your signature story to sell your offer. What to say when interested clients show up in your DMs. What to say on sales calls, audience growth strategies, sales page strategy.

Speaker 1:

Behind the scenes, sales strategy, launch emails, planning, scheduling your launch with your astrological transit, building out your offer suite planning, energy management, high performance, getting it all done, having good boundaries between your life and your business, navigating relationships inside and outside of your business, plugging your energy leak so you can show up and follow through on your launch, like so many things right. And I'm sure when you break it down you're like, yeah, like this is the outcome, this is the result. But these are all of them squillions of conversations that I have with my clients that I know is really going to help them and, you know, as a part of the process to getting them to that result. So do I talk about all the micro topics in my messaging? No, not always.

Speaker 1:

And a lot of these things I don't talk about in my marketing, in my, you know, like front facing content strategy, but I do sprinkle them in to throughout my sales process in a way that educates people about how my work helps them to give, to make sure that people who are interested in working with me have a very clear picture on what it actually looks like to work with me and why having support from a mentor like me is valuable and what they need. That will, and you know, like what are some of the specific things that are actually going to change throughout our work together. People need to know both they need to know where they're going and they need to know how they're going to get there right, because everyone's path is unique and our story is our curriculum, the way that you do things, even though so much of it we're very blind to, because we're like, yeah, of course, that's the way that I do this or that, but many people do many of these things very differently. So this is really the job of your messaging is to paint that clear picture of what people are actually buying when they sign up for your offer. The main thing you need to know about your micro stories is which ones paint the picture of what their transformation will actually look like.

And if you look on my sales page for Sell your Magic Like Magic on my website with sarahmackcom under work with me, private mentorship, you're going to see the imagine section, and I always have this on my website or my sales pages, where I really paint the picture of some of these micro stories from their life after they've worked with me and what their life is going to look like. So you know, one of the aspects of my, my private offer is I'm going to create a handbook with content, prompts for their specific astrology chart, to pull out those specific and unique stories and gifts in their content and their messaging. So it's like imagine you know having that and knowing clearly what you are going to write, knowing that that's going to attract your soulmate clients and lead to easy sales. So you're not just like overthinking or like randomly posting things. Another one I've included on there is you check your inbox and it's filled with messages from amazing people who are excited to work with you. Can you see how that's a micro story?

Speaker 1:

Like that is a micro part of my experience and my client's experiences. They send me their screenshots like oh my God, somebody said they want to join my offer. Like look, look, it's working. You know, it's like those smaller celebrations and moments where you're, where you think about it, when they imagine that being in their life like that's a true desire. Right, they might not be thinking about it, but they're probably thinking about the lack of it. Like if you don't have clients asking to sign up with you right now, that's hugely impacting their life and not having enough money for this, that and the other, not hitting their income goals, being like is it working? Am I good enough? Well, what do I focus on in my messaging Right? So it's thinking about the stories of what it will look like after they've done the work with me that is just going to make their life so much better.

Speaker 1:

Like feelings, like I write about how your sales conversations feel effortless because you're speaking the truth about your work in a way that's clear, truthful, confident and authentic. Some people might be like trying to power through sales scripts that don't feel authentic, or like cold DM strategies or not in a good relationship with social media, but really wanting to make money in a way that feels authentic and aligned and truthful and fun and easeful. That is what's unique about my work compared to a lot of other people out there teaching online marketing. Like I talk about how filling your offers and making sales feels like having heartfelt conversations with dear friends leading to payments of thousands of dollars dropping in each week. Like that is a micro story, right? Yes, we're going to do the launch planning. Yes, you're going to be having five figure launches. Yes, you're going to understand actually the day to day things that it takes to get to your first or next six figure year selling high ticket coaching, but the thousands of dollars dropping in like that's another micro story that's really, really exciting. That might not be happening for them right now or it hasn't happened for a while, that they want to happen and they want, they're ready for the support around that. And then obviously you know, reaching those 5k, 10k, 20k month income goal milestones and celebrating six figure years and having so much fun doing it.

Speaker 1:

So my macro result, the big shiny, like top of the pile focus, is book high ticket soul clients on repeat, using astrology and authentic storytelling right, it's like result, what you clearly want. And I'm not like book out your membership, I'm not sell a thousand spots in your low ticket masterclass. No, high ticket soulmate clients and on repeat, like that consistent habit building. That's a big part of my work. And then I do it through all astrology and authentic storytelling. So if someone's like I don't want to be me, I don't, I want to have a faceless brand, right, that's not going to work. I'm not going to work with that person because my strategies won't fit for them. If someone's like, oh, I just want to scam people for a bunch of money through cold DMing people on the internet. We're not going to be compatible.

Speaker 1:

So so much information is given in that statement. So that is my program tagline. That is the main result of my offer that I'm getting super, super repetitive with in all of my content and my micro results. These are the day-to-day stories of the details of what it looks like, which gives my clients so much information about the way I do it. So my imagine section does not look like imagine getting out of bed and sending 100 cold DMs to strangers on the Internet. Imagine some of them like maybe becoming your clients. Imagine spending $5,000 a month on ads and having 50 squillion clients. Imagine posting five times a day. No like this is. It's so clear my approach, how I have done this for myself, so that the people who resonate with that and want to do it that way, those are my people and that's going to be very clear to them.

I make it so clear it's about simple, fun, authentic sales and content strategy that feels like an expression of your truth in a way that feels most accessible and easy for you. And you know this is really why, with the majority of my clients, we start with a sales page copy. Really, why, with the majority of my clients, we start with a sales page copy, even though you absolutely do not need to have a sales page to be selling your high ticket offer? Even having the text in a Google doc is amazing. Even you don't even need to send the text. You can do this through your content and through your sales process. You know I already made tens of thousands of dollars through my private mentorship program before I made a sales page for it after almost a year of running it.

But the reason why I like to start with sales pages with my clients is you do need to have this messaging for your offer crystal clear for yourself, because then that's going to translate with clarity into the rest of your content and it's going to make it easy for you to sell it just through your social media content and your sales process. And the clarity that comes from this from clients like is the thing that just unlocks that client magnetism. It leads to confidence. That makes you better at selling. It also helps you see so, so, so clearly. This is my ideal client and this isn't my ideal client Because you've gone through that process of like who am I? What is my story? What are my results? How do I do it? Like? That's what you need to be clear on and translate that into your messaging.

And the other thing that's really important is, if you're not clear on the transformation, if you're not clear on the macro and the micro results, and if you're not clear on the transformation, if you're not clear on the macro and the micro results, and if you're not clear that the macro and the micro results that you're talking about are actually desires that your client is looking for, you won't be making sales consistently, because sometimes we identify these stories and we can get a little bit lost in the process, right, like if I was just talking about money mindset but I wasn't talking about money results. That's going to go over people's head, cause they're like what do you? You know what? What level am I at? I can't sit here and be like I'm going to help you, you know, make a million dollars, cause I haven't made a million dollars yet in my business, but I can tell you how to have six figure years, because I've done that multiple times. Right? So it's like tying the concepts and the way that you do things without getting lost in the process of like selling the tool Right. I'm not leading with astrology, I'm leading with the results and the astrology is the micro story underneath that.

This is a big, big, big mistake that people make, especially when you're selling high ticket. It's different if you're selling like a workshop, right, and you're like come to my breathwork workshop, but you can't sell a high ticket breathwork package. You have to sell the transformation based on a very specific result for a very specific person. So when you get good at this skill in your messaging, you will be making more money. I built two successful businesses on the foundation of some good copywriting skills with a diligent money mindset practice. This got me to six figures with absolutely no previous business training whatsoever, and then adding in the astrology just made everything even easier and more enjoyable. So this is the most important work and skill set to invest in if you wanted to make it to six figures in the next year.

It's not manifestation, it's not identity work, it's not money mindset on its own, it's not really really crazy sales strategies. It's the messaging, it's the communication of your ideas. This will get you clients anywhere you go, whether you're sitting next to somebody on the bus, whether you're selling something on an Instagram live, whether you're sending an email, whether you're making a pretty graphic carousel, understanding how to speak to the client for your offer is the skill that's going to make you the sales and the money, and from the right people. So your prompts for today are this part one is your macro result for your offer clear and actually something that your dream client desires client desires. Would they read it, your tagline or the main benefit statement of your offer and go? Fulfillment and freedom, like sure, I want that, but I don't know exactly what you mean by that. So get it down to a clear, specific outcome that is an obvious improvement in their day-to-day life. And this is going to cause you to get specific on your ideal client.

And part two is go through the last five pieces of content that you've shared and look to see are my macro or micro stories and results stated clearly in my content? And if the answer is no, my friend, you have work to do. If this is already looking good in your messaging, if you're like ticking the boxes and you're like, yeah, I'm using my macro offer, I'm sharing my micro stories and you're still not making the sales that you want to be making, then we need to look at the gaps in your sales process, which is what we're going to be talking about tomorrow.
