Hello and welcome to the Creaking SaltSoap Cables at the BrazenHydro Pub in Bilgewater, where your hosts end-growth in...And today we'll be sharing a pint andtalking all things we can tear in beyond. So the first thing that I want to talkabout, honestly, I don'tremember ever seeing thisinterview, but then I saw it recently. Itcame up in my feed and Iwas like, "Oh, what the heckis this about?" And I was listening tothe Riot Dev Talk. I thinkthis was from actually a year, almost like this was months ago or thebeginning of 2023. And Iremember him saying, he said, that he was asking him, like, "Can yougive me a release date orwhen this game is going to bereleased?" And he said, "I can't tell youexactly when the game willbe released, but I'll tell youthis, that an MMO is something that a lotof the Riot Devs hold nearand dear like to their hearts. And either a game will be released orthey will be working onreleasing a game. So either they'regoing to have an MMO running and outthere, or they're going to beworking on getting an MMO outthere. So I feel like this game isinevitable. I don't think we have toworry about the game notbeing released." Yeah, I believe that.Especially with an MMO, howmuch they've probably alreadyinvested a lot to make an MMO, right? Ithink like right off thebat, you already need to have amassive budget that you're willing toinvest for a seriouslymassive game. There's no way thatthis MMO is not coming out at some point, regardless of what itends up being. You know? That's one thing we can guarantee withoutany trailer release dateneeded. This game will come out.Exactly. Whether it's 2026, 2028, or2030, there will be an MMO in Runeterra.Oh yeah. Have you heard of the FPS MMOthat they're workingon according to them? What? They're making a different MMO?It's a Riot MMO FPS called Project T.I don't know if it's set in Runeterra ornot. I feel like there's no... I mean, that'd be kind of weird. Like how you'regoing to have thereally nostalgic characters.I mean, there are guns, but yeah, I don'tknow if you can make anentire gun game in Runeterra.Yeah, everyone's asentinel of light. Yeah.Well, that's interesting. I'm guessingwhen you say FPS MMO,I'm assuming Destiny. That's the first thing that comes to mymind. Or like, Destinyis not really like...You know, it's not your typical MMO,where it's just onemassive no loading screen worldthat everyone's living in together. Youknow, it's just kind oflike you have your zones, you have your areas, and you're justgoing to phase in where acouple other players are. That's just kind of like the most of it.You can kind of likeparty up and do dungeons.Yeah. So it's like a pretty like lightMMO, which I think isgood. Like I think Destinyhas a good job with that. It doesn't needto be anything like crazy for an FPS MMO.I don't think it's going to be like theMMO in the traditionalsense. It'll be more likethe stealthy thing. I think it'll bebased on Valorant. That's what I wasthinking to immediately, because I'm like, well, they already havea very successful FPS, thefranchise off of one game.So might as well expand on that. Andclearly, as we have learned recently, like within this yearalone, Riot definitely likes, you know, having an establishedworld that they can build out.I can see Valorantbeing that for them too.And there's not like a ton of I don'tknow a ton of lore about Valorant, butit'd be interesting to see like an MMOFPS. But I do think they'llprobably pull a lot from Destinyand that's not going to be like it's notgoing to be like that MMOthat we're thinking about.I think that's definitely going to beRuneterra. Yeah, yeah, exactly.Especially because they'recoming out of Runeterra. They probablywant these games to bepretty different from each other. No, they're not trying to makecompetition with themselves.Yeah. So I'm guessing the average FPS MMOexperience they want is going to be verydifferent from whatever Runeterra ends upbeing. What do you thinkthe name is going to be of theof the Riot MMO, the one that we want toplay, the one that's set inRuneterra? Oh, I don't know.Yeah, we just kind of call it Runeterra, don't we? Like, we just callit Runeterra now. But I mean,I don't know. That just makes the mostsense to me. Like, I've atleast got like face value, right? Just call it Runeterra orsomething. They have the world ofRuneterra.com. And it takes youwhen you type in world of Runeterra.com,it takes you to we'remaking an MMO the Riot names likeofficial page. So they own that URL. Oh,wow. Why don't you type in Runeterra.com?That's a good question. They definitelyhave to own that right nowwhy they don't own that name.Runeterra.com takes you to legends ofRuneterra. Oh, that'sinteresting. So they own both. But the world of Runeterra specificallytakes you to thewe're making an MMO page, like the recruitment page. Yeah, if Ihave to guess, like, at thevery least, they have that namemarked just because they're like, okay, this is a very obvious namethat we could potentially gowith. You know, some might as well grabit now. Yeah, yeah. WhichI totally get that becauseyeah, like, no, no way they don't thinkimmediately like world ofRuneterra or Runeterra. The wordRuneterra is very likely to exist in thename, I think, personally.I think it's a very strongpossibility. That'd be weird if theycalled it anything else. Butthen the name has to includeRuneterra. But I like it just beingsimple. Yeah, me too. Ilike it just being Runeterra.I think that'd be really cool. It's a lotbetter than like, the Lordof the Rings online or like, bringing Star Wars the Old Republic, youknow, we have to startmaking acronyms for these games.I definitely like the idea ofjust a one name MMO, please. It's simple. Yeah. Easy tosay. Easy to spread the word.Runeterra. Keep itsimple. Yeah, dude. Runeterra. There is another thing too that I wantedto talk to you about. So Iwas having a discussion on ourlast episode with, I forgot who it was, their name exactly. But I was having adiscussion with themunderneath the comments. And we weretalking about Nyla becausethey were saying that like, she is that powerful. But she I looked upher lore, I looked up moreinto her lore, she basicallygets her power from like a demon. She'slike stole some power froma demon, but it makes herlike she's uncontrollably happy all thetime. Like that. Oh, shehas like this desire to justchallenge the most powerful foes. That'swhy she's going off andjust battling everyone.Oh, okay. I think they just don't showthey like herrepresentation doesn't show that like, you look at a relative soul, you can tellthis this guy is powerful.Like his main thing is heliterally creates a son in the palm ofhis hand, you know, or oryeah, Lillie bear or anivia. Allthese characters look strong, like Ornn.He looks like he lookslike a boss. Nyla. Yeah, looks like a person with a whip. Yeah, that's a very good point. You raise that. For a character to be strong, they needto have like feats ofstrength. You know what I mean? Andlike, you know, not like, not likestraight up like blunt strength, but likethey need to accomplishbig things in the story or in the worldfor you to feel theirpresence for that person to actuallybe strong. But she is she's frickin justdestroying everyone. You know, she's definitelyaccomplishing feats of strength. I justdon't look at her andsee that level of strength, you know, like we looked at whenever weface a boss in in maybemaybe this is a problem that Ihave. Like I didn't really like theAnduin fight too much, but I didn't feellike he was that bigpiece. I agree that though. I agree thatI don't want to fight aguy. I want to fight. And thenagain, I felt that we're about Lich King.I felt the way about theLich King. I felt like he waspowerful, but then again, he was on topof the tower. Maybe that'swhy. I don't know. That'sthat's a very cool way. But I don't knowwhen you look at. Okay. You're like, are this howhe just like the Lich King feels socentral when you just look at him. He'sgot the cool helmet. It's all covered in bone armor. You know, like the metals like allengraved with all this cooldeath stuff. Maybe it's just maybe I justassociate him so much withhis story, with his backstory, like like Viego is just some dude. Soyeah, but Viego does feellike, yeah, like when I seeViego, he has a presence. You know, whenI see that guy, he lookshe. But I generally thinkit's just because I associate him withhis story. So I know he'sdangerous. So when I see him, I'mlike, that guy's dangerous. I mean, that's our association with the LichKing. Like I feel likeCalista was another like undead characterkind of thing. I feellike she could be a boss, but I don't get that vibe from Nyla.Nyla, I just feel likeshe's a regular person. That's interesting. I definitely see whyyou feel that way about her. LikeI think I feel that way about her too. What makes a what makesa boss feel like a boss?Dude, that's a very good question.Because yeah, like when I see Nyla, Ithink, oh, she's probablysome like adventurer. You know, that's myimmediate guess. So shejust like she travels around, you know, maybe spend some time inBilgewater. I don't know. But yeah, I donot get the vibe thatshe is like God power. Maybe it's thatthey can't be like us. Ithink that's a very good point.I think that the Lich King doesn't likeus anymore. Like he's undead, you know,or Calista, she's dead.Viego, like he's not. And you always seethem kind of usually you seethem kind of in a position ofheight. Like Viego, when you see him inthat cinematic forRuination, he's stepping downfrom his throne, you know, on the stepscoming down. And you lookat Arthas, he's kind of likeon that throne, too. He's above you. They're always above you.Very looking up at them. And then I see in Nyla and I see everyonelooking down at her and I'mlike, that's where we should be.Oh, she's one of us then.Yeah. Oh, she's just one of us.Because even like, she's like verycolorful in terms of what she wears, which is usually just likefriendly. And even like in terms of like,um, choreography, like howthey pose, how they stand, how they move. Like Viego is very closedoff in terms of the way hestands, the way he moves, the way he fights. He's very like, Idon't know, I call it likestrict, you know, it can findand like fluid. So he feels very likeghostly and deadly. Nyla isjust a very like open lookingperson whenever you see her like poses inthe way she fights. Yeah, exactly. So it doesn't feelintimidating. I think that's the thing. She's not intimidating, but she's not supposed to be.But that also just does not make her feelpowerful or threatening.Yeah, which makes it feel weird thatshe's just like battling all these godlevel creatures. Andhe was talking, they were talking to metoo about aspects, right? Like you havePantheon, which theysaid that they're going to correct this.I remember someone telling me or I heardit somewhere in thatright is going to make make sure thisgets fixed because you have the aspectswho are like Aurelionsoul is an aspect. There are these starlike these creatures from thestars that were formed in thefirst breath of creation. I thinkAurelion soul was the first and thecouple came after him. Thoseare aspects. Then we also refer toPantheon and Diana and these characterswho receive power fromthe aspects as aspects. And so the watersget muddied. Like whowhat aspect are you referringto? I do feel like those aspects are verypowerful. The actual see, Ithink the actual aspects likeAurelion soul level aspects are the onesthat tricked him to wearthe crown. Those ones arevery powerful, the ones that bestow theirpower onto humans. Andsometimes it's like almost apossession level, bestowing the power. But then you have the actual like, Idon't think Pantheonshould be able to fight Ornn or Volibear.Yeah, no, I agree withthat. But I also only agree withthat because of like, I don't know, justlike makes sense to mevisually in knowing about Ornnand Volibear, or I'm just like mostpeople should not be able to challengethem single handedly, especially anyone on Runeterra for themost part. Yeah. So Pantheonliterally gets possessed byViego. That's a Viego's the boss.Pantheon is just a guywith some extra power.Yeah, that's the vibe I get too. Pantheonjust seems like, Idon't know, dude, Maya like, just like typical like fantasy fictionbrain. When I see Pantheon, I'm like, that's the kind of dudewhere like, yeah, he looks really cool. And then he gets beat up bysomeone else to make them lookcooler. You know? Yeah, exactly. I dothink that they're powerful. I mean,Pantheon was instrumentalin the Darken War, you know, like, they're not I'm not saying that they'renot powerful. But therehas to be like a level, a step up. And Ifeel like Nyla is more inline with them, because of justher appearance and how what the way shelooks and how she how shemoves and the way she's drawn.Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I feel that waytoo, just by like hermannerisms and things like that. But I think it's also just because likewe feel like, oh, we havesomebody's powerful, they haveto be serious. Yeah. Also, it gets atrend with like, Renteratoo, kind of, you know, like, the most powerful characters in Rentera, the universe of Renteraare pretty, pretty dangserious, pretty dark for the most part.Is there any boss that's not like, serious and dark thatwe can think of? Other than the Joker, Imean, like, he's prettyeasy, he's dark, he's dark, because he's crazy. Yeah, he asks peoplewhy he's so serious, but he's pretty serious.Yeah, exactly. I'm gonna try to think oflike World of Warcraft, like, where like they'll havelike smaller raid bosses that are like, you know, kind of comical. Butit's also I feel like more soin game than actual lore, where like youhave the guy, theAlchemist guy in Icecrown Citadel, where he says, "Good news, everyone!"He's trying to mix a Futurama reference, like the first secondthat you meet him. Yeah, he's prettysilly. Cucuside orsomething? I don't know. I thinkI think it's an interesting question forFuturcide or something. But yeah, no,like, he's pretty silly, but he's also like, he doesn't exist formore than like 10seconds. No? Yeah. He's there, you fight him, and he's gone. That'sabout it. He's never like, he's neverreally brought up inlore as any like central character thatexists for a long time. He's just there, and he's justlike another abomination of Icecrown.Yeah, he's not like, he's notthe boss. I'm trying to thinkof an actual boss that's not just, I feellike there's somethingto be said about somethingthreatening. And something threateningcan't be also like silly and fun.Yeah, and like lighthearted. Yeah, that'svery true. I mean, likeotherwise, it's like, let'sjust talk it out. Right? Yeah. This is agood point. I've nevergiven this any thought before.Yeah, what makes them awesome? Like, yeah, that they can't not be serious. They have to be darkand like, well, not dark, but they haveto be like, they have to have a cleargoal. They have to havesome like means that counter your own andall of this stuff kindof has to be serious.Yeah, it's pretty serious.Yeah. So like, hmm. That's tough.Yeah, I don't know. That's always likeside stuff. That's neverlike, you're not gonna seethe main bad of like an expansion or evenlike a patch. He'ssilly in Final Fantasy 14,but they do have characters that thatthey'll develop andeventually become a raid on the side.Yeah. We'll do that sometimes. But hereand then it's likethey have their one singleconsolidated story that does not messwith anything else going on in the world.I literally can't I feel like thereshould be at least one,but I cannot think of anybosses that it's not. It doesn't takelike a very serious turn.Yeah, and then you need that's very atleast the character thatexists for a long time. That is ultra powerful and silly. Yeah, you know, that isn't justlike confined to their own story.Or, you know, actually lives on to havetheir own lore and likeprogress with the world andthings like that. So, yeah, I don't know.Nyla is a veryinteresting exception to that.I can't think of anything. I would loveto hear if someone inthe comments or anythingsays like any other characters kind oflike Nyla because that'sjust why she's so powerful. It's like someone just just likes her andthey're just wanting to explore theworld. And they werelike, well, I'm gonna go fight thisperson. I'm gonna go fightthis person. I understand that'sher backstory, where she's supposed to bethis person that goes onand fights everyone and she'sjust trying to be stronger. And that canabsolutely be the case. Andthat could be why she doesn'thelp us. She'll be like, you know, Ialready defeated this person, but that'll also diminish like.Yeah, I was going to point of like, oh,so that person's not asthreatening because Nyla justfreaking kicked their ass and then walkedaway. Yeah, like, okay, wesummoned this whole army togo against the Volibear in some raid orwhatever. And yeah, he's testing ourstrength. But then whydoes it even matter? Like we just havereally what we should betrying to do is just sit down withNyla and really find a way to push her tofight everything. It'lldiminish that even if she couldmake that joke, she'd be like, oh, Ialready defeated them. Andshe's kind of art has like, her power comes from this demon thing. Soit makes sense that shecould say I don't want to help.Yeah, but yeah, but even though it'sstill just like, okay, sothere's just this character thatjust wanders around and is like waystronger and has alreadybeaten all these people.Something about that feels wrong. Like, Ifeel like nothing. I don'twant the big bads to feellike nothing.Still, also in terms of in terms of thelore overall, we haven't really gotten an update fromRiot since their initial response andthat they're going to kind of unify thelore and make it wherecertain things are canon and certainthings aren't they're going to reallydefine out what is andwhat isn't. Yeah, that's a good point. And what cinematics arecanon and what aren't.Like, I feel like I have that beginner'sguide to Runeterra. I thinkthat stuff is canon. All ofit is canon. I just want thatconfirmation. Yeah, yeah, just to set it in stone. Yeah, that raises the question of how how faralong were they in termsof unifying the lore anddeciding on everything before making thatannouncement, you know, like, the lore ispretty unified. Yeah, scattered. I mean,it's pretty unified. It's just there's a couplecouple characters that aren't really inline with the lore, notreally the story overall. You know, I don't think we're going to bechanging the watchers.Yeah, yeah, no, I highly doubt that.Yeah, I agree. I thinkit's going to be small stuff, like either small corrections, but Ithink most importantly, it'sgoing to be small stuff to setup into bigger stuff later on. I thinkthat's the biggest thing isthat they're kind of giving theworld more direction instead of just, youknow, filling it out everywhich way. You know what Imean? Like, like, especially for an MMO,like, yeah, they're goingto need to have at least somekind of consolidated story for the entireworld to push it forwardfor an MMO. So I think that'swhat they're doing a lot of in terms ofreconstructing the lore. But also, Idon't think it'll beanything major either. So another thingthat I did want it. Sothere's definitely the lore is likesomething that I'm very passionate about. But a lot of people don'tknow is that I'm super intoPvP. Like, even in every moment that Iplayed, I feel like PvPis where I play the most.Unlike our brother. Yeah, I feel like alot of people may not knowthat we're actually brothers. So me and conquest are actually brothers. And we have anotherbrother, Samicus, you can check outhis YouTube channel and stuff. He plays alot of World of Warcraft, but he's always been into PvE.I feel like I've always gravitated moreto PvP. And I'm reallyexcited to see how Riot takes. And MMO and what their PvP mode. There'sgonna be PvP. Yeah, absolutely. They these are theLeague of Legends guys. All right, they're gonna be PvP. Ialmost feel like they're gonna do abetter job with it because they have somuch experience in PvP.Like, World of Warcraft isbalancing how many classes and how manyhow many really how manyclasses is World of Warcraft orspecs, right? I guess you could say, oh,god, yeah, World ofWarcraft actually balancing. And I understand there's a lot ofabilities there as well. Somaybe it's how many abilitiesdoes World of Warcraft have to balanceversus how many abilitiesdoes League of Legends have tobalance? Oh, I didn't even think aboutthat. Era balancing soundslike a mess, especially for agame going on as long as League ofLegends. And they're still adding newheroes all the time, new champions got my own dota range, still adding newchampions like, oh my god. Yeah, also, I think I feel like a game likeWorld of Warcraft PvP kindof started off as just like, you know, a little like side novelty. It's there. It's cool. It'sfun. And then they started takingit more seriously as the game went on.And that's when it became more like, okay, we actually haveto balance these classes not only forPvE, but also for PvP. Howwell do they do killing eachother, which is very different fromDungeons and Raids in terms of classbalancing. I think Riotwill do it from the start. I thinkthey'll want a strong PvP scene right offthe bat. And they'llfocus on making sure that's a funexperience for every class. Yeah, becausethey invest in that. Imean, look how much they invest in theLeague of Legends events, right? When they have like thetournaments. I mean, oh, money they putinto it. And they win likea stinking award for theircompetitive scene. Like for likecompetitive events at theGame Awards. Yeah, they did.It was like whatever League of Legendsevent happened this year.Yeah, they're still going strong. It'scrazy. It's a loss for them. They losemoney on those events.Oh, yeah. It's like just one hugeadvertisement, which is smart. I mean, think about it. Peopleare watching League of Legends. Peoplesee this huge event. It shows, okay, while the player baseis really strong for this game. Andthat's why the game is still runningtoday. It's because theyunderstand like, what do they call it?There's something aloser. Forget what it was, man. It's like a net loss event or something.Whatever is a word for it.It doesn't matter. They losemoney on that to gain money elsewhere. And by putting on thesehuge events, and I think Riotunderstands the benefit of that more thanany other company. Andthat's why I think PvP in theRiot MMO is going to be a significantpiece. And they're going to see eventslike almost like theLeague of Legends tournaments. Yeah, yeah. Oh, absolutely. Ithink the most important thingof a tournament, like not only is itsaying, hey, like we're still here.League of Legends is stillaround. There's still a competitivescene. Everyone's still playing thisgame. Why are you not playingit? And then it also has the idea of likemassive stadium, all this hypesurrounding it, all thismoney put into it to make it look as bigand professional aspossible to make it be like, yeah, this this is still big. You know, not only is League of Legends stillaround, but it's stillmassive. Here's the state of it. So likeit does so much good for for theirongoing life servicegame like League of Legends. I can seethe MMO doing similar things.Yeah, one thing that I thinkabout a lot with PvP. So the way World ofWarcraft handled PvPbalancing is they almost made it aseparate thing. Like there's PvP with thehere's your class, here'severything that you get in yourkit. And all these spells are just foryou and everything yourgears is adjusted for you tobalance out PvP, right, to make itbalance because someone could come inlate in the season now andkind of catch up pretty quickly to thepoint where they can actually compete. And then while you'repeeping as you upgrade in arena rankingor whatever it is, you canupgrade your gear for PvE.Yeah, I like that. What doyou think about that system?I'm into it. I mean, I don't obviously Idon't think a PvE gearthat you get from PvPshould be as strong as the gear you getfrom PvE, you know. But I do I do a likethe idea of PvP gearstarted being separate from PvE gear tosome extent. And then Ialso like the idea that yeah, you can easily switch between PvP andPvE. Just don't expect yournumbers to be as insanely goodas someone who's been doing PvE the wholetime if you jump from PvPto PvE. Yeah, you won't youwon't start at ground zero, but you'llstart at least somewhere.Yeah, exactly. Because of howmuch work you did over here. Yeah, you'renot starting with allthe people who just hoppedon to the game like today with a newaccount, you know, I'm likeno gear. But I do like somedistinction because now usually wheneveryou try combining the gear for PvE andPvP, it just kind ofdoesn't work all that well. At least frommy experience withWorld of Warcraft, you know, usually if there's like, I know like, orthey have like theirspecific stats, right, like youhave certain stats that'll only show upfor PvP compared to PvE.And I don't know, I like that.It just makes sense because they're twothey're just so differentfrom each other. The way youplay a warrior in PvP is going to becompletely different from the way youplay a warrior in PvE.I think different gear and differentpriorities should be likecompensated for that too. That just always made sense to me atleast. I like the, I dolike the idea of, oh, I didsome something in PvE and I was able totake that into PvP, right? Like sometrinket or somethinglike that. Yeah, I like that idea. But atthe same time, it makes it extremelythere is a benefit tosaying to isolating it because it iscompetitive at the end of theday. Oh, yeah. You know, andsomeone who really likes PvP. Yeah, someone who really likes PvPshould not have to do PvE. Andsomeone who really likes PvE is going tohave to do PvP to be likethis. Yeah, because some peopleare literally just going to play PvP,will never know anything ordo anything. When it comes toleveling, they're just going to flythrough it as fast as possible just toget PvP. Yep. Oh, yeah,it's guaranteed going to happen. Nomatter what, no matter how this gameturns out, they could putlike one minute of time into making a PvE3v3 mode. And I promise youthere are other people whowill strictly only do that for hours onend every day and not give a damn aboutthe rest of Runeterra. Here's a question. Yeah, here's aquestion too. It does relatea little bit to PvP and PvE.Leveling. Should there even be leveling?Whoa.Do you even need to level? Like what ifsomeone comes in late, they're just wanting PvP.Should they be able to just log in andPvP all day? They don'thave to level a character oranything like that. Someone wants to doPvE, but you do have to getthe gear to be able to likedo that stuff. Like why does yourcharacter need to level? Why can't youjust feel like you'regetting stronger with the gear thatyou're getting? You know, why doesn't your gear give you increasedhealth or increased mana? Why does ithave to be this arbitrarynumber to show you that yourcharacter is getting stronger? Why can'tyou just feel like yourcharacter is getting stronger? That's a good question. So you're neverblind. See, I feellike in a perfect world, theoretically, hypothetically, it wouldbe amazing if questing andtraveling around Runeterra, seeing all these zones, meeting all thesecharacters, is justanother pillar of contentinstead of something you do before youplay the rest of the game. But I don't know what the heck would beable to get out ofquesting, which would be like, you know, I expect questing to kind of besome kind of solo or soloof old content where it's notvery high stakes a lot of the time. You're just kind of doingyour thing. It's pretty chill. So that means I don't want to see anyoneget crazy gear off ofquesting through Runeterra. You know, no, but you get like fun ofRuneterra is just like getting yourexperience and travelingall these places is what I think you getexploration. You getcurrency. You get reputation. You get story. You get that kind ofstuff. You know, maybeyou unlock a flight path. There's other stuff that you can get fromquesting that a PVP or whodoesn't care about it can justlog in and PVP all day. But like for you,if you care about thatstuff, like you want to build upreputation and you may not get the bestgear from it, but you canget like some kind of pieceof gear that's that's decent. It doeshelp you, but not to thatextent. You know what I mean?Yeah, yeah, that's fair. That could be.Yeah, I guess they couldjust fill the world with stuff.Right. Like, like they can give youthings to do in like Ishtal, you know, like in the jungle orhelping out the people of Ishtal withouthaving you go through awhole quest line for the sakeof experience. That would just beinteresting. I mean, it'sjust the kind of new stuff I hopethey tackle. So I feel like if anyone cando it, it's Riot becauseRiot somehow, whatever they gettheir hands on, no matter what the genre, they do a damn good job at it. Sowhatever they do with thisMMO, I hope they take risks like this.Like I would love to seethem try to make you think so.Oh, yeah, no, I think the right. I'm likeI've said, you know, likewe both agreed on before, there are some pillars that I do thinkneed to stay. I do think theHoly Trinity needs to stay.I do think that I like that you haveraids, you know, I want I want some funlike me and 19 otherpeople fighting a big bad. That's alwaysfun. It's always a goodtime. It just feels veryMMO-y, you know, you're playing with allthese other players. It'scool. And that's not an MMOthing. That's been a staple since onlineplay ever existed. That'seven. Yeah, even in Halo 1,you're playing zombies, right? You areyou are still allyingyourself with a group to accomplishtasks like you hoard yourself in a roomor something and you'refighting. That's alwaysbeen a staple. So that that should neverchange. That'd be weird ifit changes. And I think thewhole thing is that should and HolyTrinity, by the way, forthose that don't know, is the tankhealer DPS. So I think the class systemis something that shoulddefinitely be included.Yeah, I agree. Limitations are justanother way to personalizeyour character that I love, you know, it's like it's a very cool. It's just like a verycool RP thing, honestly,is just saying, yeah, I am a Yordlewarrior. You know, that's what I am.That's who my boy is.I love that. It gives your characteridentity when you have aclass compared to just likepicking up a sword and swinging it. Yeah,I don't think your Yordle isa warrior who's trained hiswhole life to be a warrior who's nowfighting in these hugebattles and just pick up a staff andsuddenly be on the same level as everymage. Yeah, I don't like that. I don'treally like that at all.Myself. Yeah. Yeah, I know. Yeah, I wantclasses. I want, you know, obviously like you're gonna havedifferent. Well, I hope you havedifferent playable races. There aredefinitely some thingswhere I'm expecting it. And if it doesn'thappen, I'd be disappointed.Actions is like a bonus thingfor me. Factions happen. That's amazing.Factions won't make or breakthe MMO. But I would love ifthere are factions between Noxus andDemacia. We'll see, you know. And byfactions, we don't meanjust two factions and dividing the playerbase. I don't think that Ithink that's definitely likea nuance is. Yeah, it's a lot of TLC. Ittakes a lot of tenderlove and care from Riot.If they want to make out factionsactually a funexperience for everyone involvedand to actually make it like, you know, community founded. Yeah, wego back to Noxus and Demaciabecause they're strong foundations, easily visible andunderstandable, right? If you're fromDemacia, you shouldn't be able to walkaround Noxus. But that goes aroundeverywhere. You shouldn'tjust be from the Freljord and be able tojust walk around Demacia because youliterally fight withthem. If you're if you're from like somespecific clan, you know, youhave to feel that connectionto the players when you're creating.Yeah, Istal, like if you're from Shurima, you shouldn't be ableto just walk into the jungles of Istal.People die there all the time becauseIstal don't like anyone.I'm saying that we should be friends toall, you know, I don't I don't like theidea of my characterjust being, you know, like in the case ofa lot of them, thosepopular nomads, it's just, yeah, you're the sky that runs around andhelps everyone for noreason. Everyone loves you becauseyou help everyone everywhere. Good job.Demacia and Noxus both loveyou. That's not interesting.Yeah, because you did their quest linesand you saved them fromsomething for no reason, just because you felt like it and you'reall powerful God. It's like,oh, that's not entertainingor like doesn't make any of the placesinteresting if they all just love youbecause you just go overthere and help them with whatever. I wantsome places to hate me.Yeah, those are also thingswhere it's just like, yeah, I hope Riotdoes this. Those are like those are themore nuanced things, especially in terms of writing are thingsthat I hope they do withthis MMO. I hope they take somerisks in that regard. Yeah, I really andthen I think always thinkback to there's then there'sthings that I really don't care about.Like, for example, leveling is notsomething that I thinkhas to stay. It's not a staple of thegame. It can be included and it cannot beincluded. And that'swhere I think Riot should just take risksand it just be somethingcompletely different thanwhatever we're expecting. I agree withthat. I mean, I cannot think of a waythat would genuinelymake like just exploring the world ofRuneterra without a need forit in terms of like experience.I can't see a way of making it like funand fulfilling. But atthe same time, I trust thatRiot could do that. You know, they arefar beyond my brains. That's for sure. In terms of whatthey've made beautiful, everythingthey've made going to him. So I thinkthey can do it. But justa matter of how. Because, yeah, I thinkin that case, exploration, exploring Runeterra should bea pillar of content on its own. But thenhow do you do itwithout making it just like, yeah, doing a raid is the same ascompleting thefreaking Damasia quest line.Because those two should definitely notbe the same thing, you know.Man, it's so tough. It's so tough to makea world where you have areplayability, right? Becauselet's say that you make this Damasiaquest line where youcan get some reputation, you can get some gold and you can getsome whatever a piece ofgear at the end that willmake it so you can at least do the firstraid level tier, whateverit is, you know, like notget you there's better gear that you canget. But that gear, youknow, it's pretty good. It'll getyou at least into the raid. Yeah, yeah.Pre-bis, pre-bis. How do younot lose all that content whenyou add another difficulty? Like, that'sthe hardest part. That isthe hardest and toughestquestion about an MMO is because theworld is constantlychanging. So how are you supposed tomaintain the old world, maintain itslongevity and replayability while notmaking it where everyplayer is just replaying the same thingover and over again, despite not wanting to and make itsorry, the world moves forward. Yeah,it's tough. Like, I don't really likethat. Oh, man. It's sotough. Like, okay, something changed. This whole building isdestroyed later in the game. And Idon't really like phasing too much. Like,I understand you couldhave the player playsthrough this zone and they come back andit's a different phase andnow the world has changed.I understand that. And I don't think it'sa bad solution. I thinkit's a pretty good solution.Yeah. I wonder if there's a bettersolution where it feels like you're justyou are a part of theworld and the world is what it is rightnow. It's changed and youare changed for everyone. And that's that. Yeah. But then at thesame time, then you haveplayers like I want, you know, you're going to have classic runeterrayear two classic runeterra.Oh, my God. Do you do you missthe old world before the rune wars?Runeterra classic. I see and I'd love toexplore all that. Like, there definitely has to be. So Idon't know when they're going to startruneterra. No one knows what the exacttime frame. We couldgo all the way back to the freakingTitanware war, which is the first everwar. This is there's nota lot of interesting before noxis beforethe Masiya. We don'tstart in the current time, like, or at least like, you know, I thinkthe current time ofruneterra is kind of avague terms of where that's at exactly. But it would beinteresting if we don't startwhere, you know, like where everyonewould kind of expect it right after allof these short storieshave happened, after all these comicshave happened. That wouldbe interesting if we startbefore all this stuff. Wow. I didn't givethat any thought before. Imean, I think going throughthe rune wars would be very cool, obviously, like, right? Who who wouldn'twant to experience that?Yeah, I want to see it. But at the sametime, so they could do theycould really take two paths,we could start at the present time, whichI think we'reprobably going to do becausepeople imagine you join there's noPiltover and Zom andDemacia and Noxus and there's justDionia in the time war. I don't thinkwe're gonna go all theway back to then, you know?I would like to see when Aurelion Solgets tricked and andwears the crown, you know,I would love to see the Battle of Acathiawhen it gets consumed by theVoid. They released the Voidin Acathia and Shuriman ascended ourbattle against the Voidalong with the Starly Mages andthis huge war. I feel like that's awesomestory. I love to seeMordekaiser fall and bere-arisen, you know, when he first he'slike, I forgot hisoriginal name, it's like Zen orsomething like that or whatever. He'soriginally a man and hisfall and then his rise to powerbecoming back as Mordekaiser, that kindof thing. I think that's all awesomecontent that I'd loveto see play out. And that's why I mean, you need some kind oftime thing. And that's whyAcathia, I think, is going to be thatplace where we can go back and seeprevious events. And thenmaybe even that's how you add, you keepthe old world possiblewhile not making it mandatory inthe current timeline. So the world canmove forward, but thatcontent is still there becauseAcathia has, I mean, there's the Azilianis literally atime-bending wizard from Acathia whoput a whole tower in a stasis that'sliterally trapped in time, frozen in time. There areliterally time wizards in Acathia. Thatcould almost be after we,you know, I guess we battlethe void, we kind of free that area. That'll be kind of how we explore thepast is through Acathia. Is my thinking. Yeah. I don't know. Ifeel like the thing is,I'm only like too far.I went too far. I went too far.I went too far.I just feel like you don't want to wasteall that. That's such a good story.Good lore. I want to explore it in thememo. Oh yeah. Icompletely agree. I think the thingis, there's only so much exposition youcan give before it startsfeeling forced. Right? Like, for example, with Mordekaiser, I don'tknow if in the MMO, if we just startgoing back in time andexperiencing his rise and fall andeverything in between, then it starts feeling likekind of like forced almost to like, oh,here's his story. Look at his story. They did a great job.I was really going throughthe quest line. I don't know. Can you like maintaining the truetimeline because there's people attackingwho trying to change things, you know, people going back andmaybe trying to change theAcathia side. It doesn't release the voidpeople going back andtrying to change it.So Mordekaiser is never reawakened orgoing back to change itwhere Rallian soul never gets thehelm clamped on him to the point where hewants to destroy Runeterra at any moment. You're going back in time. So you'retrying to fix mistakes of the past.It could be a group of Acathian timewizards who go back and are trying tojust not allow any ofthe bad events to happen, which is kindof a solution of, yeah, you know, like there's theBlack Dragon Flight. Yeah, the BronzeDragon Flight. Yeah, theBronze Dragon Flight try tomaintain the timeline and the BlackDragon Flight are tryingto disrupt it. You know, they want to go back and kill Arthasbefore he becomes the LichKing. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that'strue. I like even then the thing I likethat they do there withthe Bronze Dragon Flight and,you know, you experience part of Arthas'sstory before he becomes theLich King in the expansionthat we fight him. I like that becauseyou don't see his wholestory, you know, like it doesn'tgive you Warcraft three levels of here'sArthas Menethil everysingle moment. Here's all of hisstory, all of his background. They giveyou, I know they give youStratholme. I don't thinkthey give you much else, right? LikeChromie talks about likethe one of the Bronze Dragonsstraight up tells you, oh yeah, this iswhere he makes the decisionto chase this demon into NorthRend, which is where he goes insane. Youknow, Chromie tells you thatand that's just like enoughfor you to go off of, you know, but ifyou want to experience more, then you play Warcraft threeand you get his full story. I like that, you know, I think the RiotForge needs to be even expandedeven more where it's like, I guess I'mthinking about how perfectRiot Forge is. Yeah, I knowI've already said like a billion times, but can you imagine if weget a freaking Mordekaiser gamebefore the Mordekaiser expansion drops?Oh my gosh. Where like weactually get to have like asolid single player story drivenexperience where we get to see his riseand fall in real time.Somehow you're selling me on Runeterraand I'm the one person, probably one of the few people that youdefinitely do not needto sell on Runeterra.Dude, Riot Forge is so perfect. I reallyhope they keep it going in to like, indefinitely, go along with the MMO,support the MMO and theMMO obviously supports RiotForge back at the same time becauseyou're going to the Mordekaiserexpansion. Sure, like they'llgive you enough exposition to go off ofin the MMO, right? Just likethe Bronx Dragon Flight doeswhere you go back in time and you canexperience these things and try tocorrect things and allthat. But if you want the full in-depthstory where you take hours of actualentertaining contentto give you this full amazing storywithout you just sitting there as arandom, make your owncharacters in there through it all. No,you get to actuallyexperience it, Riot Forge. Yeah, and they could even advertise it in thegame. So you're walkingthrough, you end up seeingWillem's place, right? The home of theYetis. You're actually ableto go there and then an adpops up on your screen and it says,"Would you like to explorethis place further?" See it inSong of Nunu on Riot Forge in the PlayStore, you know? Yeah, dude. Oh my god, yeah, just likein a while when the new patch drops andthey give you that bigsplash screen of everything that'scoming up. They just give you that. Yeah, yeah, just yeah, yeah, itjust pops up on your screen.Get the Colloger's Edition now. Doesn'tWillem look so cute. Youcan have them in your home.Hey, hey, I have thatplushie. What are you trying to say?Great plushie. A very good plushie. Ilike that plushie. I lovethat plushie. It's great.Yeah, a lot of people don't know this, but I have every RiotForge collector's editionever made. It just goes with the product. It doesn't mean theycan't force it down my throat.Yeah, through the Riot MMO. Exactly. That's what I'm looking for. That's whatI want. Man, I reallylike that idea. Like there's no need togo all the way back toeverything in the game. You don'tneed a caverns of time, but explore it inrelated titles like that. It's like continuing the war.I almost saw the moon. It does do this. You're a past event thatyou're not going to go join thegame and then, you know, see that'salready probably happened bythe time the Riot MMO drops, right? Like in the room, terrible beexploring Song of Nunusprobably already happened. Exactly.Like you want to experience it. It's onthe noon. A freaking great game.Yeah. You want to learn more about how wegot to this point whereLissandra knows about Nunu and the Heartof the Blue and all this stuff. Well, there's that game that you can play.Damn. Like, yeah. I'mgoing to be honest, like MMOs,I think nothing is better for in terms ofworld lore. Nothing willever explore that better thanan MMO. But in terms of singularcharacters in their story arcs, I feellike it almost all theworst ways to explore that because likeyou're just you're not thatcharacter. You're not goingto like be seeing their inner thoughtsand all this stuff. You're not going to have a niceconsolidated story because it's an MMO.I'm not jumping into an MMOfor a single player experience. You know, that's not why I boot up thegame. So like tellingthese single characters storyarcs in an MMO just never works out forme personally. I alwayslose interest. I fall offpretty hard. So that's where games likeWarcraft 3 come in. Andthat's where Riot Forge comes inwhere they can make these single playercharacter arc experiencesthat feed into the MMO without itbeing force fed to me in the MMO. Yeah. Ilove the idea of Riot Forge so much.Me too. Even the Rune King is in the pasttoo. Have you played Rune King yet?No, I can't wait to play Rune King. Yeah. For the audience, bythe way, I got Conquestthe entire lineup of Riot Forge games forhis birthday. So he'salmost set. He's all set toexplore. Beautiful gift. So the Rune Kingis actually set in thepast. That's before evenRuination, which is actually yeah, that'sactually before the Ruination, beforeViego was released asecond time and before he's before he'strapped in Camivore now inStasis. That's all before that.So yeah, I love that you're able toexplore that content withoutneeding to like haveeverything included in the MMO.Yeah, dude, your character is justawkwardly standing therebecause like what's the pointof him being there? Speaking of RiotForge too, I made aprediction where I was trying. I mean,it's kind of like a meme video where Italk about the release date ofthe right MMO. And I actuallybased it on Riot Forge and I don't thinkthe date is correct, but that's justwhere the math added up.But I did say that they are releasing agame for every zone. Oh, yeah, isn'tright. But I do thinkthey're doing that. Like if you look atconvergence, that's on. If you look atHextech Mayhem, althoughthere's not a word for that, that isbased in Piltover. Where's Song of Nunu? That's in the Frolljord.Where's Mage Secret? That's in Demacia.Where's Rune King? That's in Bilgewaterand the Shadow Isles. We still need games for Ionia. We'regetting one for Bandle City, right? That's Bandle Tales. That's Katmai's students. That coversBandle City. We stillneed Ionia. We need Noxus.Shurima ish-tal. I don't know if they'llmake one for Katia. I feellike probably not. I don't knowif we should go there. Yeah, yeah.Shurima will probably have alittle bit more of a Katia, kind of like how Rune King had ShadowIsles because she was reallyexploring the Shadow Isles.Yeah. And then you'll have one forTargon. Yeah, dude. That's all of them. So I feelhonestly, you'd have one for every singlezone. Yeah, and I think anIonia game is inevitable, right? I feel like Ionia, so much happensin Ionia. There's so manycharacters that come fromor are in Ionia. Easy. Easy way. Yeah, that's such an easy zone.I'm surprised there's notalready a game that takes place in Ionia. It's totally indevelopment right now. I don't knowthat style. People love the style thatIonia is in. That sortof culture. Very cool.Easily so. That's why I think Ionia willbe an expansion, isbecause it's such an easilymarketable place and it's huge. It's likea giant archipelago.Giant is Noxus and Demaciaand all the land in between themcombined. Yeah, I thinkIonia perfectly fits the billfor an expansion. Also, I guess the onlyway they're going to do Ionia justice, because that place is so damn dense. It'smonstrous. You go allthe way north to thecold. The cold, there's like the snowyarea on the top all the way down to thesouth, so it's large.Yeah, it's from different biomes. Ioniamakes too much sense to make anexpansion. Let's seewhat happens, because I feel like if theyleave out Ionia at the start, people are going to be like,"What the hell?" At the same time, Iwould prefer it that way. For later on,when they really canflush out, they can just focus on Ioniaand really flush it out andmake it what it should be.There's a lot of places thatI don't want to see included. If you look at my video, I have a wholevideo, 30 minutes, justtalking about what I think shouldbe included and what, not what I thinkshould be included, but whatI think they will include andwhat they won't include at launch. Yeah, that's a great video. I stillstand by that. I still thinkyou're pretty spot on for a lot of thatstuff. Someonecommented, they said, "I'm a gamedeveloper and that's the thought processthat I would have as well."I was like, "Okay, I'll goon to trust you, bro, with thedevelopment you've gone through thisprocess, but I appreciate theboat of confidence." Yeah, logically thatmakes the most sense. They're going to have this wholestinking world that they're going to haveto flush out. I alreadyfeel like with the zonesthat you said alone, they would have alot of work to do to doany of these zones justice, for how much has already happened in themthroughout the yearsand all these characters, everything involved. Like, "Runeteros isdense," is the thing. No wayare they going to be able todo all these zones right if they do themall at once. It just can't. No way.So we'll see what happens. I thinkthere's going to be, I mean,Runeteros, I think it's going tohave a very long runway. I don't thinkwe're going to get the wholemap. If you guys don't know, there's a map of Runeteros. You can goexplore it right now. I don'tthink we're going to get thatwhole map. I do think there's going to beplaces even that are noton the map like Camivore andthere's a whole other continent overthere. Like Camivore is just one piece ofit. There's the wholeother side of the world. There's a tonthat we haven'texplored that's not on the map.I just hope it doesn't become an islandthing. Yeah, like Camivorehas an entire mountain rangeon the side of it that separates it fromthese unknown lands thatcould be an entirely expansiveworld. Like the size of what we knowtoday, like the size of Valorancompletely or even larger. And that's I think that's how youseparate stuff. Not by just an ocean. They can't just be like an island ofCamivore, the island of where Nyla'sfrom, where did that placego? Just a bunch of islands popping upeverywhere that needs to becohesive and still feel like aworld. Like our own planet is not just abunch of islands. Yeah, man. I thinkthat's like more thananything, I'd like the World of Warcraftproblem. Because honestly,I've found my AC-14 does a goodjob with their expansions in terms oftheir size. But I also thinkthe biggest issue about howWorld of Warcraft does it is that theyfeel the need to filltheir zones up with everything.Like, you know, they can't have emptyspace in their zones. Andthis is one thing I hopethe Riot of War regime is not afraid todo. Don't be afraid to make just someopen, snowy landscapein the Freljord. You know, we don't needa tribe. We only needhuts every like two steps. All right. Like there doesn't need to befreaking watchertentacles spewing out and eyeballseverywhere. All right. Just give me somenice, snowy landscape thatI can run across with like, you know, just a wolf or two chillingout. I want to run throughthe world. I don't need to. Itdoesn't always have to be like point A topoint B. And then, okay, now I'm all the way up here. Then I'm all the way down here. Now I'munderground. And it like kindof all gets layered on top ofeach other. Like, let me, let me journey. You know, I want Noxus to Demacia. Itshould be longer thanthe run from Orgrimmar to Thunderbluff. That's too short. I agree. I agree.Stuff feels too small. Orgrimmar shouldfeel even more. Orgrimmar evenfeels too small. Thunderblufffeels too small. All of Morgor should bemuch bigger. Like that's just world ofcanonically. It is. Yeah. Yeah. I want tosee the world feel that big.Like Morgor makes no sense. It's just onelittle village. There'sonly one village outside ofThunderbluff. I love to hear otherpeople's opinions on thisbecause it's like, are we weirdthat we love running around? Like I want,I want things to taketime to run around inbecause I just love running around and Ijust love the experienceand like just, you know, seeing all this stuff and just beingimmersed in the world. That'slike, you can't get immersedin the world if it doesn't take time toget places. I think youhave to force people to do it.Yeah. Even a day if you make an easierpath, like, oh, you canjust teleport there. Well, everyone's going to be teleportingaround. Yeah. I'm not running there.Yeah, exactly. Me too. Even though we'reboth saying that we like this stuff,we're not going to do it unless it'seasily, unless it'ssomething that we can, like, it's the most convenient way ofdoing it. Yeah, exactly. That's why you have to almostforce players to explore first. Yeah. Andthen, okay, you can have these fastabilities to travel, but let even though even if they don'twant to, they will. I feel like mostpeople will enjoy thatrun. Yeah, dude. Just my two cents. Yeah,I completely agree. Weneed don't don't be afraidto make open landscapes because thenthat's when you actually do have tribesand you actually havesome, like, villages and cities. Thosefeel way more impactful when it'ssurrounded by just somenice open space, some nice, like, woodland and things like that. Opendesert, like Shurima, stuff like that. And she takes some timeto get across those landscapes.Because then it makes it feel like anoasis. They gotta do itright. Yeah, exactly. Like, all of a sudden, like nothing beatswalking into a big city for the firsttime, because hopefully,I expect, like, if you hear Noxian, youknow, like, like, let's say, like, you're able to choose yourstarting zone and you choose Noxus. Idon't want to actually startin Noxus, you know, I want tostart outside of Noxus in, like, somesurrounding area, some, like, small townsand cities and stufflike that. Make my way up to Noxusbecause then when you seethat big city for the first time, unlike anything you've seen so far in thegame, who does that hit?Oh, man. Yeah. You walk in forthe first time, you've seen all theseawesome new, huge buildings, and you just feel like, oh,you're in the big city now. You're in thebig place. It's exploringthat kind of stuff. It'sso good. It's so good. Runeterra is toogood of a world to not, like, have theselittle things in it,you know, in terms of exploration. What'syour take on view distance, though?Oh, man. I'm not afraid to make viewdistance pretty low, honestly. Mostly because, mostlybecause I mean, like, when you see, like,Ishtal to Shurima, like, those are two bordering places.I feel like if I can see Shurima fromIshtal, that's kind ofweird, right? Like, I'm justseeing desert when I'm in a jungle. That's that's real danger here in Acacia,as started by Void, but I can see the sundisc right over there.Yeah, see, that's problematic. I'm okay.Yeah, I want to feel like I'm in therespective zone, which Ialso feel like scaling is a partof that too, right? Like, you know,Acacia should not be so small that yourview distance lets yousee the sun disc. Yeah, that's like youneed to you need to feellike I don't think the viewdistance should be that high. I thinkthat's one of the reasonsclassic felt bigger. I mean, classic actually is bigger than anyexpansion ever. Yeah, and you run slowerin classic. That's a bigthing. Classic you run slower, actually, than everything in retail, which is big. Yeah, do yourun slower too? Yeah, yeah, literally, they increasedeveryone's run speed. Like, yourplayer run speed is faster in retail thanit is in classic. Theysped it up at some point. There's so many movement things now too.Yeah, yeah, not to mentionyou're like heroic leapingeverywhere as a warrior, like you justfrickin' lunge yourself allover the place and you getlike speed boosts so easily in retailfrom your abilities. Yeah, like movement. I don't know, dude, you should not be able to just likespam your abilities andfly all over the place. There's a problem of giving players whatthey want and not what theyneed. Like, everyone wantsthings, but you shouldn't give it tothem. That's what we're talking about, like homogenization ofclasses and okay, everyone wants to go tomove faster, but shouldthey be able to move faster?Don't think so. Yeah, dude, what level ofconvenience do you giveyour players? That's a verytricky line to stand on in any MMO.Literally, every MMO runsinto this. How convenient do youwant your game to be? If it's tooconvenient, it's not fun atall. That's the thing. If it'snot convenient enough, you get like FinalFantasy 11, where it's likewhat the hell am I doing at anygiven point in time? Even more thanconvenience, I think it's punishment. Howmuch do you punish aplayer for mistakes? Like, when someonedies, I think that's evenmore important than convenience.I feel like convenience is something thatplayers always ask for,but it's wishy-washy. Moreimportant than that is you need to definelike punishment. When youdie in a raid boss, whathappens? When you die in the field, whathappens? That kind of thingis more you can go all the wayto the extreme of hardcore where if youdie, you're just done forever. You'rejust dead. Yeah, thenyou can go all the way back to FinalFantasy where no one dies. And if youdie, you just, you know, you go back to the earth. Yeah, I thinkyou go back to the earth.Yeah, I literally, I think.Yeah, if you make the game so easy, youdon't have to worry aboutpunishment. It's just like, no,I better die in the open world. You know, what's what's like, what'sthe point of that? I would bebored out of my mind. I would not want tolog on if I'm just like, oh,I just have to kill more of these guys. Ihave to go talk to this person.Oh, you know, I want to get like, no, I'mfighting some spiders thatcould kill me any second. Allright. I'm with you. I'm 100% with you onthat. I want to talk to youmore about this. And I wantto talk to you more about Riot Forge andthe future of Riot Forge. You got meexcited about it and howit intertwines with MMO. Perfect. I thinkit's so perfect. I hopethat's what they're doing. Ihope that's their intention. It kind offeels like it right now. Itdoes. We're gonna I'm callingit now. You're gonna get a game per zone. It's already. Bandle'sTales confirmed this for me.You're gonna get a game for each zone.True, true. If we'regetting a Bandle City game, yeah, we're probably getting whatever.Yeah, yep. I hope you enjoyed thisepisode.
