What if money was nothing more than a shared delusion, spiraling out of control? Join I as I confront the harsh truth about our society's relentless obsession with wealth and its devastating consequences. From the maddening rise in housing prices to the gut-wrenching reality of skyrocketing insurance premiums, this episode is a no-holds-barred rant on the absurdities of our economic systems. I don't just vent; I offer a raw, personal look into the stress and frustration that many of us deal with daily, and question why we continue to accept these crippling financial pressures.

This isn't just about the numbers; it's about the human cost of living in a world where greed seems to trump well-being. Reflecting on personal mishaps and broader societal issues, we challenge the fairness of an economic landscape that feels rigged against the average person. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by the constant struggle to make ends meet or puzzled by the arbitrary value placed on material things, this episode will resonate deeply. Tune in for an unfiltered conversation that's not just a rant but a call to rethink the values and systems that shape our lives.

Speaker 1:

5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Speaker 2:

Fuck it, we're just gonna fucking get into it, man.

Speaker 1:

What the fuck, what the fuck it, man, what the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck. I am so sick and tired of everything getting so fucking expensive. It's stupid, it is dumb, it is stupid, dumb and stupid, stupid, stupid. Tired of it, I'm so tired of it. I'm so tired of it, I'm so tired of it. I just got an increase on my homeowners and automotive insurance. It went up a fucking thousand dollars. A thousand dollars this year, one thousand fucking dollars in the amount of money I make didn't go up a fucking thousand dollars.

Speaker 1:

I didn't get an increase of my pay, and so I got to figure out where the fuck I'm going to come up with that extra thousand dollars for the year to milk it into all the other expenses that have gone up. I mean, this is so stupid. The asinine of the stupidity of money in itself is just dumb. We have such a possessional attraction to this fucking made-up thing just so we can purchase product. We're fucking. We're all the same goddamn species, people. Can we figure out a way to not have to do this, to make up and create a fake fucking thing? I mean, everything we've done is fake. We've made it up, we've created it, but we have this obsession with this dollar, with this dinero, this pound, this peso, whatever the fuck you want to call it. It's stupid. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of fighting for it. I'm tired of working my ass to call it. It's stupid. I'm tired of it. I'm tired of fighting for it. I'm tired of working my ass off for it. I'm tired of not having any at the end of each month.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I haven't made the best choices in life. I am not educated. I'm not smart. I am not educated, I'm not smart, I'm a dumbass. I understand it, I accept that. But fuck, without, I have no idea. You know I'm tired of it. But I'm fucking trying to figure. I gotta quit fucking doing that, fucking trying to figure it out. I'm just trying to figure it out. I gotta quit fucking doing that Fucking trying to figure it out. I'm just trying to figure it out. Man, that's stupid. That's a poor excuse for stupid or for laziness. It is basically all it is. It is. It's a poor excuse. I'm lazy, I hate doing things. Excuse, I'm lazy, I hate doing things. I love doing things of what I enjoy, but I don't make any fucking money doing that. And I'm trying to, but it takes time. My life got kind of whirled around when I was younger and now I'm trying to right the ship.

Speaker 1:

I guess, if you want to say, to start sailing in the right direction with with things. But but when you get a fucking notice or an email stating that your increase, your insurance premiums, are going up for the year and there's no reason why, other than the stupidity of society and these people that are just greedy and want more money because, oh, everything's getting more expensive, well, no, fucking shit. Everything's getting more expensive because we're making it more expensive. We're putting value on things that is getting more expensive because we're making it more expensive. We're putting value on things that don't need to be valued as high as they are, like our houses. Oh, what Did I just say? Something that may set a spark off somewhere Because the housing prices are so stupidly astronomically outrageously costly. Ah, prices are so stupidly astronomically outrageously costly.

Speaker 1:

I like the fact that I've had, if I were to sell my house right now, that I would make a pretty good, decent profit, but it isn't really a profit Because I've got to buy something in this stupid, fucking overinflated market. Did we not learn our lessons the first time, when we inflated the market as much as we did, and what happened from it? I mean shit. The same fucking thing is happening again. Are we that stupid of a society of people that we can't fucking understand that we do the same stupid shit over and over. It's a repetitiveness, why? Why do we do this? Is it because we're dizzy from going around in fucking circles all of our lives? I mean, it's just, I don't get it.

Speaker 2:

Ugh.

Speaker 1:

Oh well, enough of my fucking ranting, have a good rest of your day, we'll see you next week.
