We are going to talk about the top three moments from the week, including Casa Amor. We're going to play our iconic tier ranking game, and then we're going to give you some. I'll start. I'm going to focus on positives this week which were my anniversary. We went to Saratoga. It was really fun. We rented a really nice Airbnb and really just enjoyed it by drinking lots of wine by the pool. It was really fun. It's like perfect weather right now in the South Bay for a pool. And then, yeah, I have a whole week off for the 4th of July, so I'm so happy. But that's pretty much my highlight.

know, but I want another week! So I would love another week. Yes, I just came back from vacation. I was gone last week. I got to listen to the pod as a viewer, which was fun. I saw the Taylor Swift concert at Wembley. I was at the show where Travis came out on stage. So it was super lucky and very exciting. I almost didn't make it here, guys. I nearly died at that moment. It was so crazy. The screaming in the stadium of 90, 000 people in shock is Something I wish I could relive again. It was crazy.

Yeah. But it was good. And then I went to the south of France for a bit, which was really nice. I loved the area. We stayed at Ex and Provence and everyone was like so nice and friendly, which I had. Didn't expect because I'd only been to Paris before where they're less friendly sometimes to Americans but yeah, it was great and I Am back now and here we are but i'm excited to be back with you guys this week caught up on love island Yeah

I'll go next. My low of the week is that I was robbed. Yeah, so I have a subscription to what's called rent the runway where the perks over in the runway is that you can have a pickup where they pick up the UPS truck. Person comes and picks up your items outside of your home, which has been clutch because obviously you don't have to go to the UPS store. But turns out that I might now have to be doing returns or pickups from the UPS store because somebody stole my return. But I guess the win is that I only got two, was it two? My math is bad. Three

the five dresses I was usually have stolen because I kept two of the dresses because I want to take them on vacation. So I actually wanted to keep those. So luckily it's not everything, but it still sucks because I actually don't know what the repercussions are. So they said that I hit, I guess I'm going to get emailed soon. And yeah RIP those dresses. I. I don't know. And also we've actually, another thing why this is shocking is that we've actually just never been robbed. Amazon packages have sat outside for days. So we're thinking maybe someone just saw, maybe knows Rent the Runway and was like, yep, that's like maybe high value items, so either that, or maybe our neighborhood's turned into the hood now.

Yeah, we thought about it, but it's also like one time. So I also don't, we also don't want to be like, too scared or anything, but I think just going forward is maybe just not doing that with Rent the Runway versus other things, Amazon, at least you can get those returned. I just don't know if it means like I have to pay Rent the Runway, who's to know. But I, yeah, it sucks, but it is what it is. And I'm Rent the Runway if you're listening, I didn't do this on purpose. My low is. That when Branagh was out, we had a secret little challenge for her on the pod if she wasn't listening or was. And if she wasn't, she was gonna have to do a heart racing challenge on socials. And she was listening, unfortunately, and won the challenge. And now she doesn't get to do dance for us, which

All right. So we are going to go over the top three moments of the week. We had a pretty juicy week this week. Starting with the beginning of the week, we had some new bombshells coming into the villa. We had Jesse and Trey come in, which happened right after the heart rate challenge. So everyone was still dressed in their funny outfits and Jesse and Trey got to choose one girl and one boy to go on an impromptu date with them. So Jesse chose Joey and Trey chose Jess to show up for their dates. Trey and Jess had some cute banter right off the bat and felt like, okay, maybe some potential for Jess there. She's had kind of a rocky but quiet experience so far. And Joey was quickly very excited about meeting Jesse and his head started swiveling away from Grace. And once they got back to the villa tensions rose because Grace obviously started to notice like, okay, Joey seems way too excited about this girl right off the bat. What's going on? We've been together and attached at the hip and since like she got there and now he's like doing the same thing with another girl. And that night Grace spent the night on the day bed with Matilda. Cause she didn't want to spend the night with. Joey in the bed and the next night after a special VIP performance by Eve, who I wanted to make a quick comment there, has not aged a day. I didn't even recognize her at first. I was like, who is this woman? And then they said, Eve. I was like, that's Eve? She just, She looked incredible. I couldn't believe how good she looked. Hasn't aged a day in 20, 25 years.

And even like that. She was good like in, it's like early, like late 90s, is it 90s? Like 90s, early 2000s, like that song with Gwen Stefani, that was she performed.

Ayo, I would say Ayo and Mimi, just because I just think, because they're like not saying that she's only known by black people. People, but I'm just thinking she's not like the biggest rapper. So I feel like maybe, you know, cause even when they were singing, who's that girl. I was like, I don't think that was like, I was popular, but I think maybe sometimes the producers sort of like tell them, cause I feel like sometimes when we see, remember when like artists that you've never heard of used to perform on love Island and then you just see the cost. So excited. So I feel like the producers thought of say okay, this is kind of the song and that's like the one song they sing because technically they just. Donna, she has Blow Your Mind, I think, was more commercial than Who's That Girl. So I think it's just, I just feel like the producers were just like, okay, this is the song, and then this is the song that you guys are going to carry through and be excited about the whole time.

And of course trey chose jess And after there she chose joey. They went up to the terrace for a sneaky little kiss What is everyone's thoughts on this whole drama, drama, drama? Messy Joey is what I, he's now Messy Joey,

Honestly, like, when they first started flirting and back and forth, I was like, what are you doing, Joey? This is a bad idea. And also, the way you moved with Grace was so intentional and so thoughtful. For you to turn your head so quickly is crazy. But now, I don't know. And this is, I'm curious of everyone's thoughts. Now that time has passed, I'm, like, actually wondering if Joey felt something potentially different with Jessie. Not to say that his behavior was not okay, because I agree, it was not okay, and I think his natural on the streets instinct is to be like, oh, let me see if something's better. But at the same time he did have something really special with Grace, and to change up that quickly, I'm like, ooh, what's going on with Jesse? What is this chemistry that he's feeling that I'm not fully seeing on the screen yet?

I think Personally, I think Joey, of the initial girls that came in, I don't think any of them were his type. Then he went for Samantha, got to know her, became friends with Harriet. And so obviously whatever the storyline, whether or not him and Grace knew each other. I just think she was an ease, she's attractive, obviously his type. And obviously that was something that he's I guess I can just. I think that now this new blonde person came in and I think she is his type so for him he's now going just to regular ways of basically the way he treated. Samantha, when grace came in, he's basically done the same thing to grace because he's also trying to find like something that wasn't a big thing, five seconds ago. For example, like he was just like, yeah, grace and I have known each other for so long, but we don't talk about serious things. And then grace was like, but you never asked me serious questions. And then he's I sat with this school for five seconds. And we've been speaking about serious things, but it's I just think he's just he's using the same sort of tactics now, but like a little bit differently.

just looking for a problem so that he can basically say, it's okay for me to like jump from girl to girl. Ooh, I like that theory. That's interesting.

Cause even though like him and Grace are still open, sorry Gabby, they are still open, but I also, they were acting really close, but then now he's but I'm open, but I'm open. And he's I wouldn't, he's and he like, he's gaslighting her in a little bit because he got upset about Omar and then now he's technically saying, but you got to know Omar, which was wild.

thought it was really interesting how he kept saying that they were having deep chats You even on their first date when that chat that they had was so surface level. So watching that was really difficult for me because I was like, how is that deep? What deep conversations have they had even up to this point when they were at the pool and they were talking about how deep they were getting? I was like, are we missing something? Are we not being shown something? There's like a gap. And then just along the same note, but slightly Away from Joey. Jesse, I feel came in just wanting to know any everybody and then she vibed with Joey and I got a really weird feeling with Grace like I understood where she was coming from and how hurt she felt but at the same time it was just really interesting how the dynamic because it almost felt like She was trying to like the new girl was trying to have the same conversations that she did with Sam Samantha but she wasn't willing to have those conversations. She was just being very like upset by them, which understandably, because I feel like she just had a deeper, a deeper connection with Joey and felt like a lot more further on. So that's what my thought on the way that Grace handled that situation. But I don't think we've necessarily gotten that much out of the new girl, because through that, I feel like all the girls sided on her side because it was just such a blow up type of situation where the guy does the same thing again, you're going to side with the girl. And then kind of Jesse decided to, just stay like on her own, trying to approach Joey about it. So overall, I just thought it was like a really weird situation right before Casa to get to know and then go to Casa. And then it's Joey who?

Yeah, no I totally hear you on the grace thing too because looking back She's like basically pointing her finger at Jesse and being like I tried to have chats with Samantha when I came in and I was being a girl's girl when I came in and I chatted with her, but she already had an ally in the villa She already had Joey. She already had an understanding of who she could talk to about specific things. Whereas the new girl came in, didn't know anyone, is getting to know Joey, he puts it on her like a little too hard and now she's alienated from the group. And yeah it's unfortunate. So I totally see that perspective and Grace could have been way more gracious in that

Yeah, I agree. So after that drama llama ensued we moved on to a public vote. It was our first our next public vote of the season. And unfortunately, our little sneaky boy, Ronnie, and the queen of tears, Harriet, got dumped from the villa. And I was surprised because We all know that Ronnie would have been so messy in Casa. He was like two seconds away from Casa. And I feel like Harriet would have been, had even more tears from it. And I don't know, I just feel like it was good TV that we missed out on by having them dumped like right before. So yeah. What did you guys all think about the public vote? Cause it was also surprising, you know, obviously. Grace and Connor were in like a weird couple and not really a thing. And I feel like there were other others too who could have been voted out.

Totally. I'm super bummed that they're both gone for CASA because would have loved to see Ronnie be messy and would have loved to see Harriet just cry and have an emotional roller coaster and maybe also flirted with a bunch of guys to like she would have had a great time in CASA probably. And I feel like the public voted to keep grace and because they felt bad for her and I. I'm bummed because Harriet was like, I feel like she was like the one kind of interesting element. Not the most well liked, but like the most entertaining, I think, from the villa, for me.

100%. I actually ended up like really liking Harriet. It's just, it's a matter of like really learning about these people's personalities. And I almost felt like really sad when she left because I you learn so much from the beginning. She's an OG and she was bringing so much drama and I was loving it. At first we were like so critical because we're like, Who is this person? But then as you progress and you just know what she's about to do, then it's like kind of fun because then it's like, Oh, what is she going to do next? Oh, such a bummer. I don't know if I necessarily wanted to see Ronnie do his thing again. I was done with him doing his thing, but Harriet, I could have done a little bit more of.

I'm not saying I agree with the like, Grace and Connor thing, because Connor's like the new Manvier, he's just on vacation but, I do still think I would prefer, I'm still, I would prefer them for now, because again, we don't know that much about them, but like Harriet, we'll miss your walk early, but other than that. And while they're out, they get a text that they will not be heading back home, they will be going straight to Casa more and in walk the Casa boys. We have blade Hugo Mosiah Lionel Joel and Jake. So let's talk about the boys first. What are all of our thoughts? I was unimpressed.

It reminded me of going back to the Omar and part because I just with making with Joey getting upset because I don't know maybe Joey could have like maybe didn't expect that maybe Grace, one of her types is a black man. Cause again, when Omar was defending himself, he's I wasn't flirting with her, I was just talking. God, I mean, it is when they, when you go black, I guess you don't go back because apparently grace is okay, actually. So I think that's also just very interesting. And so I'm actually very excited to see what tomorrow entails because I'm like, okay, great.

that's actually one of the first times that not first, but often in love Island, when people say tall, dark and handsome, they usually mean it's like a. Like a brown here and I'm trying to say in tan. So I think it's actually very It's like such a cool. And again, this also could be the season we've been talking about. We actually, everyone, not everyone, but a lot of people are into dating interracially. And now we're actually seeing more of that because everyone's not just gravitating towards somebody because they're the same race, which has always been my complaint where it's okay, love Island, get more people so that everyone actually into dates. So I feel like we're getting just like a little bit, but I'm going to take it. Cause yay. I

yeah, no, that's interesting. We, this season we got Manvir and he's, he was Indian. So I feel like there, we could have had an interracial relationship there. Sanam and Kai from last season, I feel like they've been opening the doors to interracial or different cultures coming in. I don't, we haven't seen a Hispanic, but I don't think there's that many Hispanics in Europe. So I'm. I don't think we're going to see it.

Well hugo everyone's oh, he's so fit and this man is like Very lad like. He's got a little goatee. I'm just like, what is this type of guy? Is it the banter? What's going on here that the girls are like, ooh, that's the one. What?

Diamante and then ellie lucy ruby emma and Jess slash jessica, they called her both and The girls were giving, they were fire, they were beautiful yeah, they, the boys had a lot to work with. Whereas the old girls had less to work with the boys, the new boys.

Now it's time for infamous proper ranking game where we ranked our contestants on a set of categories. Last week we predicted that Casa was coming. We predicted how contestants would react or how if they would stay together or if they would, cocks in their relationship. So now we are going to talk about how if. They'll stay together through CASA or if they will recouple. So starting with some of our more stronger couples one of the couples that we thought for sure would stay together last week going strong were IO and Mimi this week. I'm curious to hear what you guys have to say about IO and him getting to know Jess in Casa, what we've seen so far.

like Jess. I think that they have a cute. a cute banter between them and I think they really get along and I really like Ayo and I feel like he's just, personally this is how I feel, I think he just needs to look for, look, at this as like an opportunity to get to know someone. Nor, and I don't necessarily feel like he's doing, he's wifed up and like they didn't have conversations and being closed off. So at this point he really does need to do what he needs to do to just meet someone that's as compatible with him. A couple things that he said, A couple things he did mention was that he is there's like a jokey part of him that isn't that she brings. And I think that's interesting to just think about who you're getting to know and then think about what you want and the sides that come out when you're with them, and when you're not with them. So I don't really fault him for the way that he's getting to know someone. I don't necessarily know if he's going about it in the most respectful way, taking her to the hideaway and being really intense about it as Mima, Mimi is like basically sleeping in the day bed. So obviously there was like a discussion there that could have been had before Casa, but I do think that they are, the Jess and him are very compatible.

Yeah, I think that for me I agree. I agree what you mean. Yes, with Gabby Ayo can do whatever he wants, but I think on Mimi's end, if, even if Ayo, in my opinion, is that I think if Mimi comes By who? If she comes back and Ayo comes from himself and I think if she finds out what he did in Casa, I think there's a low chance she's going to want to stay together. So whether or not he brings someone, I just think Mimi's at the end of the day, it's like she went through the Uma thing. She was patient through that. So I think for her, she's Is, not saying she's not looking for Sammy Sears, but she's liked him from the beginning. But again, that's not IO's fault. I'm just trying to say it's in the end, I think Mimi's sleeping. I just don't think she's going to, I don't think there's any explanation. Cause what's he going to, how's he going to say, imagine movie night, all the things that she'd find out if she like sticks with him, like kissing in bed, like all the things that are like very big in love Island he's done like in the last 24 hours. I, the only last thing I will say about Ayo and Mimi and, I agree with all these points what you said about him being with her because she might be the one that on paper you're supposed to date versus the one who maybe the chemistry, maybe the flow is better. But, I will say that I remember them from day one, and I remember seeing that jokey side to Ayo, that side where he's trying to have a little bit of banter, and a part of me is ooh, is he just seeing out, seeing this flirty side of him come out again because there's someone new, and yes, Jess seems like a really great genuine girl, and they might have an amazing connection, and it might be the perfect fit, but I'm worried, I guess, I'm hesitant and worried that he's just excited about the newness of the flirty side that is coming out of him at this moment. Will said a few questionable things in this set of episodes that we watched, which he, it almost felt like he was getting to know Jesse, trying to open himself up and really not be as transparent to Uma about that. So far we've seen Uma kind of take a very closed off approach in Casa, but I'm curious to hear whether you guys think if Will will stay with Uma or if he'll recouple with one of the girls in Casa.

His name is Elliot Anderson and I asked Boris about him because Boris, my husband, is a very well versed in English Premier League football, and I was like, oh, do you know him? And he was like, yeah and apparently he just signed with Nottingham Forest, and he just came from Newcastle, so they're like top tier. League. I feel like most of the Love Island cast you like they're like in the lower tiers of football, but apparently his brother's in like top tier. So good for him.

You guys remember that couple from, I think, a couple seasons back. Faye and Teddy split after Faye found messages from another girl on Teddy's phone. And allegedly, that girl is the new Casa girl, Emma. And apparently, the story says that he didn't cheat. They haven't had intimate relationships. But that they were flirting, and Faye didn't like that, and they broke up. But, again, this is all allegedly. But, interesting weird. Almost incestuous kind of relationship between all these Love Island people. It's crazy.
