In this episode of the Aleph Podcast, A For Aleph Founder Umair Dar is in conversation with the very talented Filipino-Pakistani, singer/song writer Maria Unera.
Inspired by her mother, Maria's interest in music began early. She took piano lessons when she was about 8 years old and started learning the guitar by the age of 13 and it was the regular karaoke sessions growing up that helped her get accustomed to performing. From busking at a park after school, to performing multiple times at Nescafe Basement, and having released her own music. Maria has had an impact locally and internationally, being featured on Spotify's EQUAL Campaign aswell as performing at Dubai Expo 2020. We look forward to hearing the music she is working on and the trail she blazes in the future.
