We had such a great response from our last Bonus Sode (or "Episode' for those people who like being lame) that we just have to keep it going! We are featuring another Unique Millenary Personality and the funny stories that they yield by virtue of being themselves. On occasion whilst we are conducting our interviews to get material for the show... we discover that some personalities are responsible for MANY stories, so we thought that it would be fun to honor those people and share some stories about the good times that they brought from the people who served along side of them. We are here to make you laugh, but behind this there is the imbedded philosophy of, "No One Left Behind."
Sadly, 22 vets per day commit suicide, approximately 67,500 vets are homeless and thousands struggle with everyday life after service. What we hope to accomplish is providing a fun place to gather that will have a similar feel to the conversations that happen at the VFW or American Legion between vets. Since the latest generations of vets are not really going to these places anymore, we are making it happen online. We believe that the sense of community will help some who struggle, while providing stories about the good times that we can all laugh at!
An additional part of this show is capturing the oral history of the military over the past few decades, so if you happen to know a veteran who served during WW2, Korean War or Vietnam eras, we would love to hear from them. Obviously, we want to hear stories from all eras, but we have special respect for the older generations.
