The Invisible Destroyer: The Story of Micah Rine Pate
Micah Rine Pate, a nurse living in Bartlett, Memphis, went missing on the evening of April 30, 2009, after going out for a run. Her husband, Thomas Pate, called her parents late that night, asking if they knew where she was. He claimed Micah had gone for a run and never returned, despite the heavy rain and darkness. Her dog was also left behind, which seemed unusual. Her parents, growing concerned, immediately advised Thomas to contact the police. The investigation into her disappearance grew more suspicious when detectives began questioning Thomas. As the investigation unfolded, Thomas begins to crack under pressure. The detectives press Thomas for answers, but his story continues to unravel. The once-charming, confident man begins to show signs of panic, making it clear that he’s hiding something.
