Weekly episodes encourage listeners to live life out loud, walking/living in the light, doing what the Lord requires of us in every area of life. What does the Lord require of us? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.
Jesus said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life".
To walk in the light is to have a daily commitment to living out a righteous life. Blessed(happy) are those who walk in the light of His presence. His word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. For it is in Him that we live, and move, and have our being.
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanseth us from all sin.
Always keep in mind, the transforming power of the Lord, is truth. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you.

Distorted Thinking - Sowing Discord In The Church

"Distorted Thinking" is a pattern of inaccurate and damaging thoughts. It is prevalent in many of our local churches. More often than not, it is caused by the pastor/preacher who embed negative and untrue statements in their sermons about people in the congregation.
One area in particular, where thinking is distorted, is regarding people in the congregation who may be prosperous or successful. It becomes obvious that the pastor/preacher or others in the group, have an issue with them being more prosperous or successful than themselves.
Some are quick to erroneously judge, think the worst, or come to conclusions about an individual based on what someone else has caused them to believe, and not based on their own personal interactions with the individuals. Their thinking is "distorted" and their engagement with them has now been impacted by what they "think" they know about them, which is probably not the truth.
The pastor/preacher has now caused others to do something that God has said that He hates, which is sowing discord among the brethren, by pitting the "haves vs. have-nots".
