Marcela Privat-Gilman has been in the classroom as a teacher for sixteen years and is currently in Northern California in the Acalanes Unified High School District. She joins Ashley to talk about the role of high school in student’s lives post COVID-19 pandemic, teaching methodologies as they relate to student’s and their context in “the real world”, and shifting our societal expectations around education and mobility to help students achieve what “success” means for them.
