(0:00) Hi, everybody. (0:00) Thanks for tuning in. (0:02) I'm Ty McDuffey and I own this platform, Duff Radio, which is available on YouTube, Spotify, (0:09) Google Podcast, X, SoundCloud and Apple Podcasts.(0:12) I also run a business called Elephant Rock Writing and Content Creation. (0:17) This video is going to be a basic overview of the AI tools I'm using to make money for (0:22) my businesses. (0:23) I'm not going to go super in-depth.(0:25) I just wanted to get this out there in the hopes that it could help even one person with (0:29) their business idea and teaching things helps me learn more about my own process and such (0:35) as the path to mastery. (0:37) If there's more interest, I'll make more videos in the future, but these are the six (0:41) basic AI tools I'm using as of March 2024. (0:46) First up, we have ChatGPT.(0:49) ChatGPT has two versions that you can use. (0:53) We have ChatGPT 3.5, which is the free version. (0:58) It's great for everyday tasks, and there's also GPT 4. (1:04) GPT 4 is $20 a month.(1:08) It's the more advanced model of ChatGPT from OpenAI, the company who has created this Chatbot. (1:17) ChatGPT 4 comes with Dali, which is a text to Image Generator. (1:26) We can just type in here a cow.(1:30) I've used this for a bunch of different things. (1:33) I've used it for cover art for my tracks on SoundCloud. (1:37) I've used it as YouTube thumbnails.(1:40) There's a whole bunch of things that you can do with this text to Image Generator, and (1:46) it doesn't take very long to create. (1:49) You can also create custom GPTs. (1:53) This one right here is one that I've created.(1:56) It's called Legal Writing GPT. (1:59) I use this to create content for websites and law firms. (2:04) Essentially what I've done here is taken the ChatGPT model and slightly tuned it to my (2:11) specific industry, in this case for my LLC, Elephant Rock Writing and Content Creation.(2:18) I service law firms. (2:21) There are some industry-specific niches that I've tailored this model to. (2:27) For example, not using the word expert or specialist, writing at an eighth grade reading level.(2:33) Just specific things that I wanted it to do to meet my target audience from my business. (2:39) I personally think ChatGPT is good for hashing out ideas with. (2:44) You can talk back and forth with it because it does have voice activation.(2:49) You can talk to this chatbot and get a response back extremely quickly. (2:54) I find this is good for things like business planning. (2:57) You can see here, I use ChatGPT and talk back and forth with it about my goals for my business.(3:04) It helped me develop this 2024 year business plan for Duff Radio to help it develop into (3:11) a more comprehensive, radio-like platform that includes podcasts, interviews, more (3:17) music, general artistry. (3:20) So ChatGPT helped spit out a 14-page business plan for me here for scaling and expanding (3:26) my business for ways to diversify income streams, grow my audience and increase engagement, (3:34) and also some personal development and branding, legal considerations. (3:38) So I've found this incredibly helpful as we're now three months into 2024 for meeting (3:45) some of these goals that I've set for myself and for my company.(3:48) Next in a similar vein, we have Claude. (3:52) Claude is a Chatbot put out by Anthropic AI and Anthropic AI has close ties to Google. (3:59) One of the cons that I've found about ChatGPT is it gives shorter replies, but it also (4:06) uses extremely flowery language that just doesn't sound quite natural, like a human (4:12) wrote it, and it uses a list of words that are at this point pretty dead giveaways for (4:18) AI.(4:19) So I like to use Claude for all of my writing and blogging. (4:25) This model, Claude 3 Opus, is $20 per month. (4:30) There are several different models that Anthropic has put out, including a free version, but (4:36) it does limit you on the number of prompts that you can use and it's not as intelligent.(4:41) Claude is also really good at reading files, so if you have long scanned PDFs or things (4:47) of that nature that you want to work back and forth with AI with or big chunks of data (4:52) that you need summarized and worked with, Claude can do that. (4:57) So for example, I can use Claude to write a blog post, and this example will talk about (5:02) a new episode of Duff Radio coming out about ways to make money using AI tools. (5:07) So after a few minutes, we have our blog here, and what I do next is edit.(5:14) So I go over to a tool called Hemingway. (5:18) I have the grammarly browser installed so I can catch any mistakes. (5:23) Hemingway is useful for getting the reading level of my text down to where I want it to (5:29) be.(5:29) In my use cases, that's usually about eighth or ninth grade reading level. (5:33) Hemingway also has these AI tools to shorten sentences, so I can click right here, fix (5:40) it for me, and it'll lower the grade level of my writing. (5:46) These large language models like Claude and Chad GPT will hallucinate, and that means (5:52) they make things up that aren't true.(5:54) So you might have to double check facts or statistics or locations used to make sure they (5:59) are true. (6:00) So I use Bing AI to do this. (6:04) This is Microsoft Co-Pilot.(6:06) It's the AI companion found within Bing, the browser. (6:10) This is owned by Microsoft. (6:12) It runs on GPT-4 from Open AI, and it's connected to the internet.(6:19) So that means it can give more up-to-date responses. (6:24) Co-Pilot also sources at the bottom where it got information when you use its search. (6:29) So I found that it's good for fact-checking.(6:32) The next way that I'm using AI in my business is this platform called Artist Management. (6:39) I initially got in touch with two of the co-founders of this company through email. (6:44) After they saw one of the videos that I made talking about how to get more plays on the (6:49) SoundCloud algorithm, I'll link that video above and in the description.(6:55) But they're allowing me to use their product. (6:59) Their product artist management uses AI to take data from my tracks, and then I can insert (7:07) links for similar tracks that are already on SoundCloud, and their AI program finds active (7:14) SoundCloud users, likes their latest tracks, and then follows them back. (7:20) I have talked scheduled with these guys for two months in, and then six months into (7:25) this experiment that I'm running with them.(7:27) I'm using this platform for both of my SoundCloud accounts, and I'll make a new video with my (7:33) findings on this. (7:35) But for now, my SoundCloud follower count over time has seen some consistent growth here (7:40) over the past two weeks. (7:42) I also have a referral code down here, Duff Radio, if you want to try this out yourself.(7:47) Next, we have DevIn AI, and this might be the granddaddy of the mall. (7:54) I don't have access to this yet, but I have submitted a request. (8:00) DevIn appears to be an AI software engineer.(8:04) This blog post says that DevIn will be able to code, build, and deploy apps. (8:11) It can automatically find and fix bugs and code bases. (8:14) It can train its own AI models, and according to this graph, it appears to be a better (8:20) engineer than Claude and Chat GPT.(8:23) So I have a couple ideas for how I'd like to use this, some different applications and (8:28) use cases, but I'm sure this software will blow open a lot of different creative opportunities (8:35) to grow businesses as well. (8:37) So in conclusion, there you have it. (8:39) Those are six of the very basic tools that I'm using as of March 2024 to build and grow (8:46) my business and have a steady stream of income coming in.(8:50) If you liked this video or found it interesting, just leave a comment. (8:54) I love hearing from you guys, and I'll be back next time with another video.
