Meet Han Yean, an apprentice to a Master Craftsman of Kendo Armor. Han's journey into the world of kendo began at a young age, where his fascination with the craft of creating kendo armor took root. By serendipity, he crossed paths with a revered Master Craftsman and forged a deep friendship. Despite numerous hopefuls, including native Japanese, seeking apprenticeship, it was Han alone who received the prestigious invitation to join the master's workshop in Japan.

Under the tutelage of his mentor, Han immersed himself in the ancient art of crafting kendo armor, honing his skills to mastery. Through dedication and perseverance, Han not only learned the traditional methods but also embraced the profound wisdom imparted by his mentor. Before his passing, the master shared invaluable insights with Han, transcending mere craftsmanship to offer profound life lessons.

Join us as Han Yean shares his extraordinary journey and the timeless wisdom that resonates far beyond the craft of kendo armor.
