Kim's husband, Bob Suarez, is the festival chairperson, and she decided to join him and lead a significant component of the event - the Live auction. Kim worked relentlessly with her team to ensure the event was a success, putting in long hours of hard work and dedication.
In this episode, we feature Heath Vogel, the Sacraments Coordinator. Heath, who was raised as a Protestant and served as a pastor for 15 years, made the bold decision to convert to Catholicism 7 years ago. In this episode, he shares his inspiring journey into the Catholic Church.
Heath began to doubt some aspects of his faith and decided to embark on a journey to discover the truth. During his search, he stumbled upon the works of St. Ignatius of Antioch, a trusted confidant of John the Apostle. In these writings, St. Ignatius spoke of the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. After reading and contemplating his writings along with the writings of the early church fathers, Heath knew that he had to become a Catholic.

Meet Carol Hall, a devoted member of Christ the Redeemer for over 30 years. She embodies the spirit of her patron saint, Saint Catherine of Siena, by living out her famous words, "Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire." She is actively involved in various ministries, striving to live out the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
Carol highlighted the need for courage when following the Lord's call. She emphasized that sometimes, the Lord might ask us to step out of our comfort zones or take risks that seem daunting. However, she reassured us that we can trust the Lord's guidance and provision. She reminded us that the Lord equips us with everything we need to accomplish His will.
Therefore, we should not be afraid to be bold and courageous in following the Lord's call. If you are interested in joining the vocations ministry, please email vocations@ctrcc.com.
