Speaker 1:

Hi, loves, welcome to the Journey to the Soul podcast. I am your host, jacinda Villa, a spiritual life coach and holistic health coach. Every week, we will be diving deep into all things purpose, wellness, spirituality and creating the life that you dream of. This space is meant to be safe and transformative for you to dive into the deepest parts of yourself. I will share what I have learned from my journey along this path years of research and mentors along the way. Having spent many years living life out of alignment and afraid to go after my dreams, I know firsthand what it means to take the first step down, living a life authentic to you. We are on this road of self-discovery together. It is time for you to live the life you imagined. Hello, my loves, welcome to another episode of Journey to the Soul. Episode of Journey to the Soul.

Speaker 1:

I am so excited to have you here with me this week as we dive into intuition and how we are all so intuitive and the different ways that that looks like for each and every one of us. Our intuition is one of the things that we should really learn to tune into, because it can help us and guide us through our journey of life. That is what we're going to be discussing today, how we are all intuitive and we all have the ability to tap into our unique way of receiving messages. And we'll look at today how intuition can really look like many different things. We all receive intuitive messages in our own unique way and knowing what your unique way is can be so transformational for your life. It can be so pivotal because it really allows you to be able to just know what your intuition sounds like and feels like, so you never second guess it and when you're moving through life and want to make decisions that are aligned with your highest good, you can follow your intuition and where it is taking you. I know sometimes, when we can make decisions or have the need to make decisions, big or small, sometimes it could be very cloudy trying to get clarity and answers on what the right decision may be for a particular thing. But if you recognize what your intuition sounds like and feels like for you, then it really takes off a lot of that second guessing. It just becomes kind of second nature to tune into it because you know it so well. Many of us look for answers outside of ourselves when we are needing to make decisions, when in reality. We have the ability to tune into what we need within us, and it's really life-changing when we know how to do that effectively. This episode is going to highlight in what way you receive messages and, moving forward, you will become more aware of it and understand that this is your unique way in which your intuition speaks to you. Then you can trust it and anything that comes through to you. It's simply about learning to understand the language in which it speaks to us. Chances are, however, that you are already aware of what that may look like, because for many of us, our intuition could be quite innate. We just don't think it's anything out of the ordinary. But that couldn't be further from the truth, because this is divine wisdom in a way only you can channel. Some people may have blocks that inhibit them from tuning into their intuition. After today's conversation, you should have a pretty good idea of what your intuitive languages are, but it can still be that you struggle to really tune into it for one reason or another. So after this episode, I just want you to be patient with yourself as you choose to deepen your relationship with this part of yourself.

Speaker 1:

I want to give a little bit of backing on my relationship with my intuition and how it has evolved so much over the last couple of years. I did not think that I was blessed with the gift of being intuitive. I believed it needed to look a certain way, like hearing or seeing things. It's only something that I became more conscious about four years ago. Prior to then, intuition was not something that was really in my realm. It wasn't language that I used or something that I believe existed beyond psychics and mediums, like most of us. Until I learned about it, it came by me and I decided to dive deeper into it. Then I had the sudden realization that I am actually intuitive. It completely caught me by surprise. It was just in a different way than I had understood up until that point. So it was really eye-opening and it began this deepening of this relationship with this part of myself. It is common with my primary form of intuition to not feel like you're intuitive. So we will touch on that shortly, because if you have the same clear as I do, or the same primary clear as I do, you may believe the same. So we will dive into that in a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Like I mentioned, I set an intention one day to really learn how to tune into my intuition, to make it a part of my everyday life, to open up to the divine ways in which we get messages from our loved ones, our guides, our spirit team, to really let it guide me through life, to honor this wisdom that for so long I had suppressed. And here I am. Years later and after years of being open to it, I can truly say that I am actually a very intuitive person. The more I decided to open myself up to it, the stronger and more pronounced my intuition became. It's kind of like the floodgates opened and I was able to tune into it more and more. I practiced tuning into it in the smallest ways at first and built on it.

Speaker 1:

I realized, looking back, that so much of my deep knowings that I have gotten throughout my life was simply my intuition guiding me, and I just didn't know what it was or what to call it at the time. Now I am so familiar with it, what it's like for me, tuning into it is an everyday thing now I am constantly getting messages and signs. It's so amazing and I love what it has brought into my life, because it's a deep peace and understanding that you are being guided and supported constantly, and that's what our intuition opens us up to is guidance, support, knowledge, revelations that sometimes we might not be able to so clearly see, that are in front of us. So we're constantly getting help from our guides, angels, our masters, teachers and loved ones whatever you want to call it source energy. Today, the amount of synchronicities, divine conversations, ideas that I have, feelings that I get every day that support me, is wild. I would have never believed that this was possible for me before, because I really did not think that I was intuitive, but now I understand that I am and it just simply looks different than what I believed it to be. Discovering what my intuitive language was really helped me understand it even more how spirit speaks to me, because it's different for all of us, and that's what I really want to help you tune into. We feel like being intuitive needs to look one way.

Speaker 1:

So many of us tie intuition to a specific thing, a specific way of being intuitive. We have kind of a closed view of it. We think of clairvoyance being able to see things or clairaudience being able to hear things but there is so much more than that. Let's expand on what the intuitive languages are. So there are four of them clairvoyance and clairaudience, like I mentioned and sometimes they are called the four clairs. So clairvoyance is all about seeing images, clairaudience all about hearing sounds. Clirsentience is recognizing, feeling. And claircognizance is knowing, and we're going to dive deeper into each tend to be the strongest. You can develop any single one of them at any moment in time, even ones you might not be tuned into right now. We all have that ability. I just want to say that because some people do come into this world already super gifted in some of these areas, and that is part of what they're meant to do in this life. So that's why they come in already hypersensitive and tuned in to these frequencies. But we all have that ability. So remember that you don't have to be special or be gifted to be able to tune into your intuitive language. So we are going to start off with clairvoyance, and this is the one intuitive language we typically think about when we think about intuition. We can thank media for that, because a lot of psychic mediums are clairvoyant.

Speaker 1:

So if you are clairvoyant, you may visualize things in your mind, visualize healing light. You may value being surrounded by beauty, colors, art, flowers. You see all the different options when making a decision. Or you may be artistic and some of the verbiage you may use is I see myself doing that, or I see this possibility, or I visualize myself, dot dot dot. You are going to use language related to seeing when tapping into your intuition. So when sharing your intuitive inclinations with others, it may sound like this. So just notice if this is some of the verbiage that you use, either with yourself or with others, because it can illuminate whether this is one of your intuitive languages. So, with clairvoyance, it's I see this for you, dot dot dot. Or when you say that it brings this picture to my head, or I can visualize you doing this. And for each of the languages, I want to give you some key things that you can do when you want to tune into it, if you need guidance.

Speaker 1:

So, when making a decision, if you are clairvoyant, it could be super supportive for you to close your eyes and visualize yourself in different potential options, situations, and see what you see and how it feels. Another thing that you can do is you can visualize connecting with your highest self and simply asking them what they see, getting guidance from them. Lastly, you can draw a picture of how you feel in a situation and evaluate it for yourself. Then come back to it after and just see what information you gain from that. Some overall practices that can be supported for you as a clairvoyant is to have a creativity practice. This can be painting, sculpting something visual, because this is really your strength. This is primarily how you tune in and view the world. So, like a muscle, having it active and constantly using it strengthens your clairvoyance even more.

Speaker 1:

Even more Clear audience. If you are a clear audience, you may deeply connect to music, be an auditory learner. You might need quiet time. You might need to be able to hear a distinct voice that isn't your own, or you may speak to yourself in a healthy way. Some of the verbiage that you may use if you are clairaudient is I hear this voice came through me and I hear my intuition telling me to dot, dot, dot. You are going to use language that reflects your auditory abilities, and when you share your intuitive inclinations with others, it may sound aboutthis sound comes to mind or this word slash name pops into my head. And how you can use your intuition when you need guidance is you can pay attention to whatever you hear in meditation if you meditate. Another thing that you can try is speaking out different options and see what sounds best to you, and you can just simply take up space and be in silence. Practices that can be supportive if you are clairaudient is meditation. If you don't meditate, maybe creating a practice for yourself or simply silence Stillness. If you incorporate some sound into it music samples, sound frequencies this can also be super helpful for you.

Speaker 1:

Clair sentience is the third intuitive language that we are looking at, and if you are clair sentience, you may be deeply connected to your emotions and consider yourself an empath. You might feel things in your body and are deeply connected to it. You could have gut responses to things. You could be a great listener. You could need a lot of time to decompress and you may pick up the emotions of others. Some of the verbiage you may use if you are clairsentient will be I feel or I sense. This feels off or I picked up on dot dot dot. You are going to use language that reflects your feelings and your emotional body. Your body has so much wisdom for you and your feelings are constantly showing you things. When you share your intuitive inclinations, it's going to sound like, when you talk about this, I felt that or I'm picking up on dot dot dot or I'm getting this sense in my body.

Speaker 1:

And when you want to tap into your intuitive guidance, tap into your intuitive guidance, something that you can try is simply closing your eyes and connect with how you feel. You could also bring to mind different options and see how your body responds to them. Tune into your body and, when you make a decision, notice which option makes you feel expansive and which one feels contractive. Some things that can be super supportive for you to be able to tune into your intuition even more is creating some quiet space to journal, just some time for you to decompress and process your feelings. Another wonderful thing for you is going to have a daily movement practice. Again, your body is so important for you, so getting rid of any stagnant energy that might inhibit you from being able to tune in to your intuition is also going to be super beneficial. And the last clair that we will be touching on is claircognizance. That we will be touching on is claircognizance.

Speaker 1:

If you are claircognizant, you may just have a knowing about things that you can't explain. You have random ideas that you suddenly feel the need to take action on, or answers could just pop into your head when you speak. Sometimes wisdom flows through you that you don't even know where it came from. Half of the time, you could also know what people are going to say before they even say it, or you could have bursts of creativity of creativity. Some of the language that you will use if you are claircognizant will be I know I'm supposed to blank. I was on a walk and all of a sudden, or the idea just popped in my head. You are going to use language that reflects your inner knowing and your stream of consciousness.

Speaker 1:

When you are sharing your intuitive inclinations with others, it's going to sound like I'm tapping into blank or what's coming through is so when you need guidance, one of the things that you can try doing if you are claircognizant is simply creating space to have time to think, contemplate and receive ideas, because you are a channel. Another thing that you could try is following the signs regarding whatever it is you are trying to make a decision on or receive guidance on. Really, look at what is popping up. Where is your inner guidance guiding you? Lastly, stream of consciousness writing to channel your thoughts can be so helpful for you to be able to process what's in your mind and what you are channeling. Practices that could be so supportive for claircognizance is meditation and breath work for you to connect to your intuition. Creating space is super beneficial for you and, like we touched on when you need guidance, having a daily journaling practice Morning pages could be really great for you Stream of conscious writing, you know, not overthinking it, just writing what's in your head. But I can almost promise you that if you put pen to paper, something will come. You will have a revelation of some sort.

Speaker 1:

Many people who are clear cognizant feel like they are not intuitive because it is harder for them to understand where it comes from. It's a divine knowing, so it's hard to understand that it is coming from outside of you. Essentially and this is my primary intuitive language, and this is partly why I also struggled to understand my intuition when I discovered that it was my intuitive language, I had no clue that it was divine wisdom language. I had no clue that it was divine wisdom. I thought it was coming from my mind and not that I was a channel for the divine getting these messages. If this is the first time that you hear about intuitive languages, I would love for you to share with me which one stood out to you the most and do you believe you are most connected with? And if you have heard about your intuitive language before, I would still love to know what it is and what practices you use to connect to it more deeply. Use to connect to it more deeply.
