An update from Anna Tayler's journey:
We arrived back to Tasmania after our year away and have been embraced by our community and love our house and lifestyle yet we have found a strong resistance in us. Unpacking this we realized we loved the values of Spain, more socialist and collectivist and have found it hard to come back to a culture that is predominantly more capitalistic and individualistic so we have done some hardcore values work and have made some significant changes. Work, for the first time EVER (and this is uncomfortable for me) has become bottom of my priority list where I spend my time and energy. I only work 4 days a week and only in school hours (with some client evening sessions). This has been magic and mess working through this. The magic being i am more present, less stressed, more connected and playful and have more time for others in my life. The mess- working though 40 years of programming of how I 'should' live my life and redefining success- is a journey!
