Yea are gods
“ I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” - Psalm 82:6
Some folks have had very negative experiences with organized religion and have experienced a type of spiritual trauma. They experienced a heightened sense of guilt and shame because understood their primary identity as sinners always living in fear of God’s wrath
That’s not who we are. That’s not who God is. We are God’s handmade masterpieces, crafted in God’s own image.- wonderously made. We are God breathed inspirations. We are all reflections of God. We are all part of the family of God. We are all gods.
Though our time on earth is temporary, we are spectacular. God beckons us to live into our fullest potential. And as far as God’s supposed anger with us, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime.” (Psalm 30)
