Life is hard. We have all been hurt. Some have been hurt in nearly unspeakable and sometimes unconscionable ways.
Perhaps it was a family that didn’t love unconditionally and as a result neglected or abused.
Perhaps it was a relationship that you hoped would be forever that ended despite your best efforts.
Perhaps there were friends who walked away when we needed them the most or worse friends who turned on us.
Perhaps we have hurt ourselves through our own actions and choices.
Whatever it is, we have to learn to heal. We can’t let out fears of being hurt again stop us from learning, growing, and reaching for the lives of our hopes and dreams.
Truly, we have to let our hopes and not our hearts shape our future.
