In this episode, I sit down with the hilarious Jessica Grant, comedian born and raised in Humboldt County. We chat about the lack of joy of hecklers, her entry as a business owner with a green thumb, and how darn challenging the last few years have been - she's been through a lot! (But has maintained better than most would.)
And yet, she has become a homeowner, started a business, and put out her debut comedy album, "Kinda Sexy". Oh yeah, she is a cancer survivor, and we get into some of the effects of her battle (eyebrows, anyone?), which is actually quite impressive. Tune in to find out what she has learned through this intense process!
I have been so impressed with how Jessica has maintained her mental health through the last few years, all while pursuing this crazy thing we call comedy, and living her best dang life!
