As a podcaster, you know how much work goes into creating just one episode. So when a guest comes to you asking for their episode to be taken down, this can feel frustrating. This week, episode 15 of Successful Podcasting Unlocked answers the question: My guest wants me to take down their episode, what should I do?

Have your own podcast questions? Head to SuccessfulPodcastingUnlocked.com to share them with us.

In this episode, I share:

  • Don’t take their request personally as it is more likely a reflection of something they said than the quality of you or your work.
  • Include clear terms in your intake form giving you the right to use and edit the content as you see fit.
  • Consider other options like re-editing portions of the episode before agreeing to take it down completely.
  • Talk with your guest, understand their concerns, and make your decision on a case-by-case basis.

Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips, tricks, and advice as I answer all your podcasting questions. Thank you for listening! If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot of the episode to post in your stories and tag me! And don’t forget to follow, rate and review the podcast and tell me your key takeaways!
