Rise to the top by creating your own leadership style with Milena Trentadue
Jun 21, 2024 Episode 20
Jennifer Reimer

For a long time, I tried to climb the ladder by fitting in. It worked until I hit a plateau at a senior management level. Fitting in doesn't make you a leader, it makes you a follower.

Today, I teach women how to lead uniquely, because I know that they will be more inspirational if they act like their true selves. My guest today rose to the top of a global company by embodying this philosophy. Milena Trentadue is the first female Managing Director of Rothman’s, Benson and Hedges Inc., the Canadian affiliate of Philip Morris International.

You're going to love this episode, because we get into some leadership practices that people don't always talk about. Milena learned some key lessons early in her career, and they have propelled her to a leadership role.  She describes how she showcased her abilities without looking arrogant, made decisions intuitively, and created her own style of leadership.

Listen to hear how she did it.
