E9: Capitalizing on Troubled Teens at Elan School

Alyssa and Lindsay discuss and question the disturbing practices that teenagers and young adults had to endure while at Joe Riccis' Elan School. A facility that claimed to help troubled youths, Elan was open from the 70's up through the early 2000's. Several victims have come forward and shared their truths, and though Elan claimed to be one of a kind, it's practices were easily lumped in with the dark facilities that regularly dispensed child abuse to those who had come to them for help.
