Be Creative to Be Well for LIFE (and especially as an educator): A talk with Professor Chris Wilson

Chris Wilson Season 1 Episode 11

Creativity is central to our well-being.  "Be original, be creative, think outside the box" are among the mantras to 'be creative.' And yet, how and when do we learn what that means? Seemingly late in one's academic career, too often at the master's  or doctoral is when creativity becomes a hot topic among educators. This is too late! Assuming we value wellness, Chris offers a stark perspective  on the reality of teacher attrition, standard cultural practices and process not to mention,  AI challenging education and educators.  Creativity is a learnable skillset, applicable to all domains and especially teaching, which requires constant problem solving in a live environment.
