Almighty Anecdotes: Truth and God's Goodness

Asking for the truth, getting the truth, and accepting the truth are all different things. Since I started my journey with the Lord Jesus, I've consistently cried out for the truth, and God has graciously given it to me.

Early Journey with God

In my beginnings, I didn't know what to do or how to start to connect with God, so I asked for the truth daily. More than eleven years later, I have received the truth in various areas of my life.

Having to stay with my mother (behind enemy lines) has given me a newfound understanding of what truth truly is. I consider myself to be a sharp and intelligent individual. People have sought me out throughout my life for various types of answers and problem-solving. You had a problem; I was your solution. If I didn't have the answer, I found it.

Over my lifetime, I've helped people with personal, relational, health, mental illness, disease, finances, and so much more. While receiving the truth has been a quest of mine, I never thought that one day receiving and accepting those truths would affect me the way they have. I hadn't comprehended that becoming the way I am was possible.

Personal Revelations and Transformations

In today's podcast, I'm going to share a personal revelation of a transformation that took me by surprise, but it's a fantastic thing. Our perspectives and life experiences shape our perception. Despite all the things that've happened to me, I've been able to maintain a sense of calm and stability in my life. I've been extremely resilient.

This resistance has placed me in the enemy's camp, where I must endure further persecution.

Facing Harsh Realities

People often say they don't want the truth because they can't handle it once they discover it. I believe this to be the truth for the most part. People always say they want the truth, but when they get it, they often reject it.

Or they reject it because they don't trust the messenger who delivered it. In either case, people tend to ignore the truth to avoid acknowledging a problem, despite the necessity for reform. Fortunately for me, I didn't fit into this category. As I stated earlier, I asked for the truth, received the truth, and had no problem accepting the truth, no matter how much it may have hurt.

For example, finding out while in the enemy camp that my family hates me was a truth I had no way to prepare for, but I received it and accepted it with grace. Finding out the reasons for that hatred is, for me, worse than the hatred itself, but I still operated with that grace. Finding out that some of them wanted and tried to kill me, even now, is a truth I accepted and continued to walk in the grace given me by God.

God's Purpose in Persecution

Here's the point that I want to share with you: God, in his infinite wisdom, used me, in the midst of persecution, to do some of his best work. Let me break it down for you. By placing me in this environment, he not only helped me identify and strengthen my weaknesses, but also positioned me to see the truth in areas of my life where I was unaware of the need for revelation.

Once I had fortified myself against the attacks, he began pouring out the truth about my life almost daily. Persecuted and surrounded by enemies, he saw this as the ideal opportunity to awaken me to the truth of everything that has transpired thus far. He scrutinized every instance of deceit, betrayal, manipulation, evil, and wickedness, as well as the individuals and their motivations behind it.

But for me, the best part is that he did it in a moment where he knew I would be rooted and grounded in his image to be able to accept these truths.

Witnessing Human Struggles

I've witnessed people struggle tremendously when receiving bad news in their lives. I've observed individuals unable to bounce back from the harsh realities of their early years. I've witnessed individuals crumble under the weight of a spouse's infidelity or the reality of facing rejection in their lives.

I've seen people completely fall apart after losing a loved one and never get back to who they were. Not only that, but I have seen people betray and harden their hearts so that they never trust again. I've experienced all of these things except for the latter, and I'm here with a sound mind and soul to speak my truth.

Embracing God's Image and Likeness

God's intention is to transform us into his image and likeness. In doing so, we become like him in all our ways. We disappoint God, we betray God, and we frequently hurt God. Intentionally or not, we do it. The image and likeness of continual forgiveness, of keeping no record of wrongs, of seeing others not through the lenses of what they've done but through God's eyes is what the Christian life is about.

Being in the enemy's camp during this season shaped me into his image and likeness, preparing me to receive and accept some difficult truths.

Uncovering Deceit and Betrayal

I walked in the door believing a lie I had not known was a lie. I walked in, believing I had family and friends. As the truth emerged, I had to acknowledge that I had fallen victim to deceit. But I consider it all joy, as it says in the Philippines.

God strengthened me to embrace these truths and resist their defeat. That's why the enemy did these things to me—to destroy me. But God has other plans for me. Almost every day, I uncover new revelations about the betrayals I've experienced, as well as the hatred and jealousy of those I've encountered in my life. For many, it would have destroyed them, but my God is good.

Spiritual Awareness and Deliverance

Behind my back, there were activities taking place that I was unaware of or unfamiliar with. Candle magic, mirror magic, black magic, voodoo dolls, spells, and curses of all kinds were among the practices I encountered. Poisons and death attempts. This is why we ought to be spiritually aware. God shielded me from these deceptive practices. The truth opened my eyes, enabling me to better defend and protect myself.

Make no mistake. God allowed these things to happen to me so that I could deliver you from them. Some of you are married to a witch and don't know it. Some of you may be under the influence of a narcissist without realizing it. Some of you are sleeping with the devil, waking up next to him, and even loving him without realizing it. I experienced these things, and I didn't see them until God opened my eyes.

You can be a child of God and experience these types of things in your life. Deliverance is the process of releasing these things, which can truly set you free.

Conclusion: Testimony and Encouragement

God is good. I am here to testify to his goodness; I would not be here otherwise.

Seek the truth in everything you do, and pray for the ability to accept it once you've received it. Fear not, for God has you in his hands. I have suffered so that you will not. Take these words and plant them in your heart so that you may see the truth. If you diligently seek him, God will never leave or forsake you. May you walk in favor of God.
