Numbness often creeps in after traumatic events or when emotions pile up to overwhelming levels. I see it as a sort of functional depression, trapping some people for years in a monotonous existence. But that will not be us!
By actively conjuring up emotions through nostalgic activities – like revisiting childhood haunts or indulging in comfort foods – we can wash away that numbness and get back to having a timeeee with life, as we should!
